Welcome to the OOC thread of the Piercing the Mists game. Here are our delightful cast members:

A few things to take care of before we start:
- Each player should pick a color for his character to speak in.
- Write dialog in quotes (“I don’t like your face” the dwarf said) and thoughts in italics (Should I eat them or fry them? the dragon pondered).

It should be fine. Let's see. Maybe I need to bold it? Also, you might want to play around with the RGB instead of sticking to the given palette.

I can't seem to get neither Tyrian Red nor International Orange. They both come out as some sort of blue. Could you post the code you used to get these colors?

Might be the parsing assigning the red to the blue. We use hexadecimal representations. See below:

You can get an extensive list here. If you want to, you can always just tinker with the pallet on your own. It's RGB, so the hexadecimals are #RRGGBB.

Heh. Just took a look at the tracker on post 1. Most games don't use such weird colours.

@Celtic: Just took a brief glance through your sheet to see if there's any shenanigans I can steal. I noticed that you took Encouraging Shield. Is there a reason you chose that over Superior Will?

I'd like to direct you to the IC thread over here. Feel free to introduce your characters, respond to the soldier's plea, intimidate fleshbags and so on.

Oh, your characters have known each other for about a day, but I'd have no problem if you estabilished that they are old acquaintances or something along these lines.

If Vermin will let me, I'd actually like to switch those out. Change Encouraging Shield to Superior Will........is that ok Vermin? I honestly would have picked it instead, I just tend not to get down to that end of the Feat spectrum on the DDI Character Creator. If not, no biggie.

Also, I am going to try something I have never really tried before on here......a dialect. So, it won't always be consistent, heh, but hopefully it will be mostly consistent. So let me know what you guys think. Hopefully, also, in time it will get better punctuated

OK, moving forward. There will be rolling now, yay. One of you needs to make a Nature roll (DC 22). Success means you follow the trail, failure means you get lost. If anyone wishes to add the tracker, he can make a Perception check with the same DC. Success adds 2 to the roll.
In addition, each of you must make and Endurance roll (DC 22). Failure means you lose a healing surge.
