'Teia is good with wands, eh? Would she be amenable to wielding Ek'ann's wand of enlarge person? It might be occasionally useful as a buff for him.
Sure. I've only got a +10 modifier, but that's still double yours and since I'll be back to 7 skill points this next level I should be able to invest more. It's CL 1, right?
Edit Y'know, I forgot about our mules. 'Teia should probably go get them from where we tied them up before fighting the statue and bring them inside.

I was planning on only employing wands when bound to Karsus, since he grants their use. This could cover a utility base.

I guess we're about to go below and face the invisible things. Should probably discuss strategy IC, though.
Edit: Hey! Hey! Hey! I just had an idea! I have shapesand, which I (or someone with a higher Wisdom score) can turn into flour pouches, or maybe even torchbug paste bladders.
We left off with Ek'ann inquiring about everyone's capabilities. 'Teia responded. I believe it would make the most narrative sense for Arapim and Vivian to respond before we moved on, I imagine.
Okay, so can we turn my shapesand into torchbug paste? I think the consensus is that RAW allows it. If not, we should at least be able to turn it into flour pouches.
Okay, so torchbug paste is a splash weapon with a range increment of 10 ft. and causes a nonmagical faerie fire effect for one hour. I propose that we each take one and do our level best to hit as many as possible on the first round of combat as possible. Arapim and Ek'ann will have blindsight up and so can tell Vivian and 'Teia where to aim. Then we do our normal stuff, with Arapim and Ek'ann focusing on any we didn't sparkleify, if possible.
Comments, questions, concerns, better ideas?
Oh, and remember when I said that it was taking longer than expected to finish my character background? Yeah. Well, it's still unfinished, but the prologue and part of the first chapter are up in the Arts and Crafts forum.

You know, that's a solid plan. A solid, solid plan.
Hey, I think I owe you guys your XP from the last encounter, don't I?

I'm cool on the torchbug plan; my character Verstaadt in my sig had a stash of assorted alchemical goodies, and that particular item was rather high on his list. As for whether or not shapesand can make the stuff is a question for the DM. If Lateral allows it, I'm cool with that. This is one of the few situations I was actually a level adjusted Drow. Free faerie fire does come in handy sometimes. As for fighting something ethereal, Ek'ann might have a solution for that, and I'm pretty sure that there's at least on vestige that can help in that arena. Shall we proceed?
Yep. 'Teia will be following Ek'ann and Arapim, climbing on the ceiling if possible. (Take 10 gives 30.) Otherwise I'll find a wall to scurry up. Everyone should have a torchbug bladder in hand, too.
Immediate thought: Oh god the floor will give way and we'll SoD against it and have to grab the ceiling.
Secondary thought: I have a fly speed.
Tertiary thought: Vivian: If that happens, I get all the gold.

Quaternary thought: If they fall down the floor and die, and I don't raise them, then that's basically a TPK.
Quinary thought: If we TPK, the campaign ends and I never get to use my glorious shinies.

Senary though: Wait, the dryad can climb, so I'd have to share with her in any case. Crap.
