You know...I never really believed Joshua's coinflip was a legit coinflip. Natasha doesn't see the coin land, and anyway, Joshua knows how to cheat, too. So I always got the vibe that the whole thing was a pretense on his part, ala Edgar and Sabin's coin toss from Final Fantasy VI.
He knows what he wants to do, the coin is just his way of making permission to do it without damaging his image or pride.
Well I suppose. That would get around presumed random chance, and I have heard that theory before.
Not too bad, except for the part about nearly loosing Seth. I don’t have pics of it, but in the arena, Seth was saved from death by a miss on a 66. Also had a tight spot with Franz, when he ended up camping in the front door of a house to keep bandits from getting to it. In other news, Joshua will not attack Natasha if you move her close to him. If you didn’t know that, it’s very useful.
Natasha comes with the standard healer build, fast and good Res, but needing to dodge anything with a sword or risking massive damage. Her Skl is also low, something that comes standard fare for staff users, and that can hurt her when she promotes. Speaking of which, she has the choice between a Bishop and a Valkyrie. The first will get her Light magic and the Slayer skill, while the latter earns her Light and a horse.
Well, what did you expect from a Myrmidon? Joshua is arguably a bit slow compared to some other Myrmidons, but he replaces this with a solid HP growth, which makes up for his low Def and Res. However, at his heart, he is still a dodge tank, and I will be using him accordingly. When he promotes, our choice is between a Swordmaster, giving him a +15% crit bonus, and an Assassin, which get him the Silencer, skill, which nets him the chance to make garunteed OHKOs.

Ross
Ross has above average HP, Strength, Skill, and Resistance, average Speed and Defense, and below average Luck. He is doing better than I was expecting, but we’ll see how he goes from here.

Let us now digress for a while, and learn the tale of the other of the royal siblings of Renaris, as he fights for his life amidst the forests of the Grado countryside.
The two men met in the throne room of castle Renvall, the man on the throne yielding the gilded seat to his superior before speaking.
Meanwhile, unaware of the work being done to bring about his demise, the elusive prince of Renaris planned his next move.

Pray to your gods of darkness, for you are about to meet them!
You cannot hope to stop us!
Nothing will stop me!
Ha!
Prince Ephraim! We’re almost to the throne room!
FALL!
One left, he’s mine!
By all means, enlighten me.
Do you yield?
NEVER!
Then you have chosen your fate.
Ephraim’s lance punched through the mercenary’s gut, tearing apart his intestines. As he fell to his knees, gasping his last breaths as his hands desperately clutched the bleeding wound, he gasped:

I've been encouraged by the Fire Emblem LP's here to try my hand at hard modes... Eliwood hard mode was quite the learning experience. Made worse by the fact that Lyn had a higher strength than anyone else on the team. (Okay, so with Durandal's +5 Str, Eliwood edged her out, and Priscilla's magic was higher, but still...)
Trying HHM now. I feel lucky that I made it through Port of Badon and Pirate Ship without losing anyone or resetting (on Hard Mode, I reset). The real joy was snagging all the treasure in Whereabouts Unknown. Right now, in HHM, I'm having trouble finding good opportunities to get Lyn and Eliwood into the lineup, so they're underleveled. Still not sure how I'm going to fix this.
But again, I enjoy following this LP, and keep up the good work.

That's...... That's horrible. How is that a thing.
Upadting today-tomorrow. Please note that end-of-chapter updates will always take extra time, on top of procrastination and leaving town, due to various add-ons that need to be researched/written.

The soldiers of Renaris fled the castle, ducking under a hail of ballista bolts and magical blasts.
But as they made their way across the bridge that connected the island-based castle to the mainland, the sky was darkened by a flight of wyverns from the west.
They circled overhead menacingly, until a single beast, larger than all the rest, descended towards them.
The Grado general grinned wickedly.
Show me how Renaris dogs grovel.

Eh, that wasn't too bad. I cut it a little close with the healing items, as you can see from some of those pics, but we all made it out in one piece. I'm still working on my editing style, and I'm using a lot more dialouge now, as you saw, but I think I need to incorporate more map shots in as well.
Planning:

Next Chapter, I have a kill the boss objective in the fog of war with a keep neutrals alive secondary objective to which I may bring 10 of my 14 units. I am thinking of bringing Eirika, Seth, Natasha, Joshua, Colm, Artur, Franz, Vanessa, Ross, and Neimi.

Bench Seth, you don't really need him to get through that level. He makes the early game too easy, so you should only use him, or not use him at all. :"p
I suppose bringing him along fits the narrative though, so really it's up to you.

Seth unlike other Jeigans, is actually a decent character the whole game through. It's insanity not to use him I say!
