I guessed that this would be a very political game, so that's why my evil character isn't just some guy who likes to kill (although he does trather like it). Also GM can the person Jacob Drex be quite famous, you know a political power who just disappeared a few years ago.
Hm, we could do something like that. Like he was a powerful aristocrat but shunned that part of his life or something?
I'm also thinking in putting some political power, but as a manipulative woman she's got sort off a "behind the curtains" power instead of real leadership.
I was thinking in making her a consort, something similar to Emma Frost.

Table containing sheets submited (and my own). If I forgot someone, please tell me.
Plus, I don't think any guild fits Naomi quite right. So I have sugestion and I think some players will join this guild.
The Unseen Hand. A secret society that control empires via diplomats, consorts, assassins, advisers and spies. They are efficient and unscrupulous, using every method avaible to achieve what they need. Their only code of honor is suceeding in your job, don't matter what it takes.
About Naomi Neandress:
Spoiler
Naomi is a middle aged beautiful woman that sits confortably in high society. Most of the time she's knew as a diplomat, traveling to kingdoms, visiting every corner in the world and meeting every kind of person. That's how Naomi presents herself to the world.
Under that facade lies a wizard that won't be afraid to use enchantment and even necromancy whenever it needs. She's really never alone, being able to summon powerful fiends from other planes to do their biding, or making random people believe that her cause is their cause. Sleeping in a room of a luxuriant palace a naive assassin might believe that she's a sitting duck, only to find a horde of servants protecting her frail body.
She know better than anyone else that a few kind words coupled with some clever spells can shift the whole situation to your favor. To her, you're either her friend, or her thrall.

I'm still here. Had a lack of inspiration and have been really busy in wake of losing my job Sunday. Wrote up some backstory that I hope isn't too long. Added my last feat, so now I mostly just need to buy equipment and I'm ready to go.
Sorry, my internet problem still hasn't been solved, and I'm beginning to hate the backstory I've nearly finished...I suppose I'll get back to you tomorrow.

It's just that the description wasn't so clarifying to me.
Spoiler
Guild.3.
The Hidden Kings
Motto: Everyone has the potential for greatness.
Description:A small guild that has fallen on hard times due to lack of membership. Welcomes everyone and is not discriminant about species. Focuses on developing magic users power.
If the Hidden Kings idea is what I had in mind for Unseen Hand, than it's ok.
But I do prefer the name Unseen Hand (Kings look majestic and male only. While Unseen Hand looks like a shady corporation). And also don't quite understand what's Hidden Kings is about, the description looks a bit vague.

That basically sums up how I felt about it. Has anyone come up with something more clear-cut?

I think Sleep Shade just tossed some ideas to help us come with new guilds, just like I did with Unseen Hand.
Some of his ideas are kinda cool, like:
Spoiler
Guild.5.
The True Eye
Motto: Magic is fallible.
Description: A group that is known for hunting rogue wizards and outlaws. All members train not only to use magic but to counter and disable spell casters. Joining is a heavily regulated affair and is started by a personal invitation.
Well, I want to implement the Unseen Hand. Fits both the campaign and my char well.

They could sit in Azure Empire, being the non-force way of conquering. Or they could be placed in Weissenacht, a more neutral ground.

A guild that controls empires is a bit too powerful for our purposes. The idea is that you are from a small guild, after all.
That's what I like about the Hidden Kings idea, it's versatile, it's small and there is a clear cut goal - getting their seat in the council back.
The description is vague because, as far as I understood, the guild provides all kinds of spellcasting services. A ragtag bunch of misfits, if you will.

Well, fine by me. But I won't put Naomi in Hidden Kings.
She will be an atypical member o the Transcendent Order. Along with her manipulation, she summons and raise undeads. She doesn't believe in being a monster thing, but being a goddess-like being controlling monsters.

People being on different guilds might create some complications...
I have to agree we should all belong to one guild. The different guilds interacting would be fun for a one shot or a behind the scenes part but for our regular character we should all be one guild. That is not to say we cant have connections. Rivals and friends from old guilds could inspire a lot of missions or personal quests.
@Dudu
What if you were forced into the Hidden Kings. A mission or rival forced you out of the old guild and your name is mud with any other guild. The reason your in the guild is you had nowhere else to go.
Doesn't it quite fail it's own purpose? You, with collaboration, create a diverse world with many places and options, with guilds that have their own goals and rules. Then you say we all will have to stick with a single guild. Exactly the one I found the least flavorful, among many other better options.
I don't know. I'm willing to play this game. But it seems the game is a bit different from what I had in mind. Maybe I misinterpreted something.
Can't we really create two separate groups for two different guilds?

I fear two groups might be taking a step longer than my leg. Don't know if I have enough time in my hands to handle it and I'd rather have a single group working well than two groups just kind of working.
The other guilds are there to be interacted with - you can ally yourselves with them, compete with them, work directly against them and all. Hidden Kings might sound too generic, but I think that's one of it's strengths. That's the only way everyone can be in the same guild without interfering much with character creation. It's also better for character interaction, since player characters will be around each other more often.

Or assasinate other guilds. I'm really looking forward to this game, but when is it actually starting?
