I wonder if this news means that Darths and Droids will continue past the original trilogy?
(I selected the article without that horrible image. Go ahead, it is safe.)

Yep, they will be. There's an announcement up on D&D today:
Quote:
NEWS: The big news is that Disney has acquired Lucasfilm, and announced production of Star Wars Episode VII, to be released in 2015. We are not kidding. We had to check it wasn't April too.
The good news is: We should be finished with Episode VI around then, and will be able to move smoothly on to parodying Episode VII. If the new movie sucks, we will redeem it. On the other hand, if the new movie is awesome, it will be awesome. You can't lose.
Darth Mickey
Edit: More like Mickey Kenobi actually. Apologies for the site. Couldn't find it anywhere more... sophisticated.
Yeah, that is the picture I was avoiding.

Good to know. I usually don't check on off days. Thanks.

Probably not. They've never actually shown the Princess bride or Van Hellsing in screencap form (as those were the two stories that acted as interludes for I-II and II-III, respectively).
Also, I hadn't realized that more Star Wars meant more d&d. This campaign is awesome!

In my posts, smilies generally correspond to my expression at the time. As an example, means "huh?" and "Hmm..". Also, "Landis" is fine.
It's basically "The Tempest," not that that's a bad thing.
IN SPAAAAAAAACE, specifically.

That sounds pretty cool actually. I do enjoy my Shakespeare. And space makes everything better.
Bear in mind that it's more "loosely inspired by the Tempest", than literally Tempest In SPAAAACE.

What will you do after finishing the film?
We're not going to stop there! Next we plan to do a comic adaptation of the musical stage show Return to the Forbidden Planet.
But that's not even an actual sequel!
Do you honestly think a little detail like that is going to stop us?
I would legit read this comic.

And Sally makes an Order of The Stick reference.
At least I think it was. "Bluff! Bluff! Bluff the stupid clones!" has a certain cadence a certain bard might like.

I just liked chewie and his resignation to what skill he is going to need shortly.

Is the plan working when the most basic part of it fails but they can continue on anyways?

As Red Mage from 8-bit Theater once said: Most plans are critically flawed by their own logic. A failure at any step will ruin everything after it. That’s just basic cause and effect. It’s easy for a good plan to fall apart. Therefore, a plan that has no attachment to logic cannot be stopped. The success or failure of any given step will have no impact on the macro level.

Ah, 8BT... I think I'll have to go back and read that again...
But seriously, what PC tries to sneak into a secure facility using nothing but a disguise? It's like asking the GM to send the army after you at the worst possible time...

Well, when the enemy stronghold violates at least half of the evil overlord list, you have a pretty good shot. The most you need is a decent bluff skill.

Oh ick! Where's the brain bleach?! Not even Lucas' ret-cons were that unthinkable!
