It's a good look for you. Give it a couple more days for you to get used to it and I think you'll appreciate it more.

Serps, you've somehow managed to stumble upon my ideal for beauty in female hair.

What can I say, when I'm arrested, I'm arrested.
Granted, I didn't realize it was my ideal until I got that second, better look at it.

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
Not actually me
Spoiler
That's my pillow. I'm supposed to be sleeping on it right now. This is the dog who was terrified to get on the furniture a year ago when I brought her home from the shelter, and now my bed alone isn't good enough for her -- she needs a pillow on top of it, too. And to add insult to injury, she only got the chance to steal my pillow because she woke me up to take her outside for a pee and she's faster at getting back into bed.
It occurs to me that if my dog were a person, I would kinda hate her.
Now, if you'll pardon me, I need to coax my baby off my pillow so I can get back to sleep....

That's a digital camera, right? With the view screen that takes up most of the back?
If so, I find that holding it the other way around and lining up the shot using the reflection of the view screen in the mirror helps cut down on the blurriness, especially with about a half dozen different takes for QA purposes.

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
it's a Gwyn! Hi! thank you. Yeah, i have a habit of getting distracted by shiny things and wandering off for like a year... or more...
Serpy! I have frustratingly (to other people) compliant hair when it comes to dying... well, most of the time... it balances out sometimes when it completely and utterly rejects all dye, like the time we used FIVE packs of black hair dye on my hair and my hair didn't even go black...
But how i achieved this current hair? dyed the hell out of it for about 2 years, first crazy colours, then just different shades of black, then let it grow out for like 18 months, then on a whim yesterday i threw half a tub of Arctic Green Directions on it (directions is the most staining brand of dye i've ever used, never fails me). And done. I've been dying other people's hair since i was like 13 or something though and my own hair for the last 5 or so, i have have dying skills.

You guys may have noticed the thread I posted in the friendly banter about the challenge of trying to eat 4 pounds of burrito in 30 minutes? Well, sadly I didn't make the challenge, but I did eat half of it in 15 minutes. I decided since it was still a picture of me, I'd show the before picture so you can see the size of this burrito.
