So what characters are already finalized?
I'm not sure if a girl mage red xiii would be a good fit for the group... any other monster-ish races you'd recommend?
(It's just that every time I think FFVII I have Red XIII's theme ringing in my ears... I really like it... hmm should listen to the whole soundrack soon.)

@aisaku: On one of my posts on the third page of this thread is a link to my (nowhere near) finished draft of the core rulebook's companion book titled Monster Manual. In it has four new playable races for you to choose from as well.

Are we starting with any licences or equipment? since I'm working for shinra, wouldn't it be atleast plausible that they would supply gear of some kind.

If you check the Shinra Electric Power Company description in the chapter titled Organisations, you will see that you receive special privilages on a certain equipment category. As this is a playtest, you can have the licenses for free to save time.

Hey, at least I didn't choose Cetra because it sounded pretty.
Aisaku, if you want to play a wolfion, I'd say that would be fine; just know Hime (my character) is bratty at first and will treat you like her pet even when you've displayed your intelligence. She'll come around though/
Posting will be slow. I'm taking two halves of two different courses, so I'm trying to spend the evening figuring out what I am an am not actually attending. Plus the site with the timetable has locked me out for some reason

Just so everyone understands (if they don't already):
My character is not a good guy (yet). He's selfish, distant and feels very blue quite a lot because of what he is.
He hates the people who did it to him (Shinra) but is willing to do whatever it takes to become truely human again (even though that might not even be possible).
BUT, all of that CAN change with a little help :3

Is a pistol clip, 8 or 10?. cuz it says it takes 8 rounds but a clip holds 10 rounds.

@Hemnon: sorry, its 10. Also, all weapons have a crit multiplier of x2. There is a feat called Triple Crit that increases the crit multiplier to x3.
@Zeone3000: That is correect. Also, as a Human (clone) you have access to a Race feat in the Monster Manual - Core Rulebook II (the link to it is on one of my posts on page 3).

He'll feel lonely and maybe kinda loose his touch with his humanity, however i don't want him to end up a sparkly-vampire-emo. But one of those trying to redeem themselves (Like Angel from Buffy the vampireslayer/Angel).

There is two different ranges for a pistol, Table 10-4 and then there is the 'Handgun' Description. Which do i use? one says 0-20, the other that it's got a range of 8.
