Hearing bolter fire, but not directed at him, Setesh looked at the Word Bearers out from his cover. It looked like one of them had fired at the location the heretek was held up, practically unarmed. He had heard two explosions just now, one larger but muffled and one closer but in the open. Seeing smoke from the Leman Russ, Setesh assumed Katria had just succeeded in her task of taking out the crew of the tank. But the other grenade must have been thrown by the heretek at the Word Bearers, considering that one was now shooting at her, and the one who did not just throw his helmet up in the air was moving towards her location.
With the tank taken out and the Word Bearers not as focused on Setesh anymore, this was the time to strike. "++Judging by the muffled explosion, I take it the tank is dealt with. Now we deal with these men.++" Setesh left cover and swiftly charged the one who he had just made take off his helmet, and left the one who had just fired at the heretek for Katria. Unfortunately, none of his blows managed to connect on the helmet-less Word Bearer.

Katria staggers as some of the hits impact along her side, but her armour takes most of the fire and she keeps upright. With the tank disabled, she bounds off the top and towards the second Word Bearer charging Setesh, the Frozen Shard shimmering in her hand as she leaps at his back, stabbing at his helm.

That should prevent him from charging me successfully. Or, if he does charge, he'll have to go through 16 AP on top of everything else. So that's nice.

Almost right after he had told Katria it was time to strike, she had jumped the other Word Bearer who had begun to charge at Setesh. Her attacks did not faze the screaming Word Bearer, though, as he had soon reached Setesh. The sorcerer was however able to skillfully parry his blows while his bolt shot missed.
During his diverted attention however, the helmet-less Word Bearer managed to land a blow with his chainsword on Setesh's right leg, the sword's teeth tugging against his power armour's protective layers, as his force field had once again failed to activate.
He had now to deal with two capable opponents in a melee, but that did not faze him as long as he was able to land blows of his own. With Vra'tzaen's humming starting to be hearable to others than the sorcerer, he swung the daemon weapon at his opponents. "Hummmmmm.....mmmmmmm...mmmmmmm!"

Katria had quite happily joined in the fray, the frozen shard and her powersword blurring as she landed a flurry of blows on both mariens engaging Setesh. The powersword went wide of the mark, but the shard lived up to its repuation, striking each Astartes twice.
The Night Lord looks around for a bit, scanning for any threats. Given the lack of shooting at him at the moment he decided to take the sniper's corpse and drag it to a safe corner, taking a hunk of his arm to chew upon, and marking him with the acid tongue-mark of his trade. He concentrated as he chewed in the corner, trying to discern what the man's voice might sound like.
Slathissin gets a pretty good idea of the man's voice (a low, rich baratone) at about the same time as an Astartes in the colors if the Word Bearers, with a black right pauldron, rounds the corner, chainsword and bolt pistol in hand.
"What-" he snaps as he takes in the scene. He looks at Slathissin. "One of Curze's faithless cowards, I would guess." He flicks his chainsword to life.

Verateka sprinted out of the building and towards the tank, using her bionic legs to assist her in a jump. While she was able to get to the tank, she unfortunately couldn't make the leap.

He snarls in contempt as the chainsword rakes across his arm.
"Very well, brother. We'll play it your way." he growls. He pulls a chainsword free from his belt in a lightning-fast motion, the sound of the whirring blades dulled by his stummer as he lases out, attempting to catch him off-balance before striking.
