Setesh was surprised when the two Word Bearers both felled the human girl inspite of her seemingly more potant forcefield and evasive skills, instead of paying attention to the sorcerer -- who would be the obvious danger he thought. It was evident these ones who clinged to the "holy" word of the fanatic Lorgar had no issues with bullying the weak. At least the one who had gone for the heretek had tried to hit Setesh.
But now he was alone against three capable warriors, as he did not expect the heretek to contribute unless she somehow could manage to get the tank functional again. "How do you dare." He sidestepped over to Katria's wounded body and quickly ripped off the ornate amulet she wore which he assumed was the source of her potent forcefield, due to there being nothing obvious he'd suspect could be such a wonderous item, gripped it tightly and having it activate, as he once again unleashed a flurry of attacks with Vra'tzaen, whose humming by now had converted into a almost loud cackle.
Spoiler

Seeing the human girl die, Verateka ran from the tank over to the group of men surrounding the sorcerer she had signed on with. It was possible to reanimate the corpse -- not truly bring her back to life, but give some semblance of life, some animation -- and that made it worthwhile to collect. In addition, the girl had some items on her that might be worthwhile. And if she wasn't dead, then Bloxly could rejuvenate her over a period of time. It was the least she could do.
Good will was hard to buy.
Spoiler
She will run to the side of Katria if possible. I believe that will reduce the Gang Up bonus that the enemy has against Setesh, and also makes Verateka a valid target. Sadly, she cannot attack this round.

After striking down the one without a helmet, with Vra'tzaen loudly cackling and tearing in the Word Bearer with his vicious teeth covered in multi-hued warpfire, Setesh parried the swings of one of the rest, while none of the other one's landed on his person. He swiftly retaliated, intent on avenging Zasz's adoptive granddaughter and focused all his attacks on the one who had contributed to her death.
Spoiler
All on the dude who killed Katria.

Verateka picks up the Frozen Shard from the corpse of Katria, and stabs at the Astartes who just parried Setesh.
Spoiler
(1d100)[90] v. 10. -20 from being untrained.
"You are wasteful," Verateka said out loud as her attack went wide. "A group of chittering imbeciles. Your Primarch would be displeased to see how inadequate you are. But then, it does take a group of Astartes to strike down one girl, doesn't it? I had forgotten how weak your faith was."

Setesh failed to parry the incoming blows, and while Katria's force field absorbed one of the hits, it let two through which caused him to reel a little. With the heretek there, he needed to restore his bodily functions a little, hoping her taunts could perhaps draw their attention away from him a short while. He took a more defensive position and concentrated on knitting together his sustained wounds and injuries, using the warp to heal his damaged body. The backlash of the warp when manifesting using his full power was too great though, as he collapsed to the ground without a sound like he had died, unable to act.
Spoiler
Using Infamy point to recover wounds.
Half Action, Guarded Action
Half Action, Unfettered, Unnatural Healing, +0 Willpower Focus Power test: (1d100)[66] vs 100 (success on <91) (1d10)[4] + 4 wounds healed on success.

Verateka took a moment to activate her combat algorithms in full, analyzing the heft of the sword and the trajectory to hit the individual. While her torso processors whirled silently in calculation, she spoke: "At least you tacitly agree with me on your weakness. You've spent centuries learning how to shoot a gun, and you missed? Ah! Now I understand it -- the reason we were brought here to deal with you was that you simply aren't worth the effort to kill for those true followers of Lorgar -- you're too pathetic to sully their blades. Is that it?"
Spoiler
Full action: aim.
"And look there, now you have but one combatant. Saving the strongest for last?"

Her mechadendrite whirled out to meet the first of the attacks from one of the assailants, pushing it aside. The Astartes managed to break past it for the next two attacks which, like his compatriot's, were repelled by the conversion field nestled within her. Verateka did get hit in the chest by one of their bolts, but it did nothing against her. She watched as the conversion field released several bright flashes, four in rapid succession. With any luck the Astartes wouldn't be shielded from the barrage of photons racing towards them, buying her a window of opportunity to slice their innards out.
"Worm? Really? In no way do I resemble you."

With some mental refocusing, Setesh was able to come to his senses again. His strong willpower was not for naught, but ironically it was also that same strong willpowerwhich had caused the forces of the warp he had manifested to backlash.
Setesh quickly realized he was on the ground and that the Word Bearers must have thought him killed by their attacks as they were now attacking the heretek, who was wielding Katria's mysterious weapon in her hand. "++I am still alive, if you were wondering. Just a minor.. setback. But I feel better now.++" He felt his psyche resettling itself after what he had just experienced. "++Keep them busy a little longer.++"

"++Good. I think they've been blinded -- no telling for how long++," she commented over the internal vox before unleashing a quick slice at one of the two.
Spoiler
(1d100)[70] v. 70. All-Out Attack. I don't believe you can Evade while blind? It relies on sight, to my understanding.
Presuming a hit: (1d10)[8] + 10, Pen 8, Felling (3).
In the event of a Zealous Hatred, (1d5)[4].
EDIT: Talk about a close hit, oof! But hey, it's a slice to the head. Go go decapitation!
"And really, the three of you could barely kill the Astartes. I wonder how many technological components your armour will give me..."

The mechadendrite swats the blind man's sword away. "Such insolence! And stoic silence. Did your daddy Lorgar write about not answering challenges against your faith in him? Or does the scripture run out at 'and then call them a worm, that'll really do it'?"

Setesh stood up behind the Word Bearers, who had probably not realized Setesh was still alive and gotten up on his feet again. He used their ignorance of not checking if a foe was dead, and their overconfidence in that their attacks had killed him to his advantage and swung his sword in a series of multi-hued strikes at both of them.
Spoiler
Half Action to stand up.
First three hits on the WB who has not taken damage during the combat yet, and the last hit on the one who partook in Katria's killing.
Half Action Swift Attack: (1d100)[29] vs 90 (+5 for g-cm, +5 for Khorne dedication, +30 unaware) | 7 DoS
Damage rolls with Pen 9, Force, Tearing, +3 dmg when inflicting Critical Damage (1d10+18)[8](26) or (1d10+18)[7](25)for 1 DoS

"Well... that settles that." Verateka spoke to Bloxly in Binary, telling him to check the vitals of the girl after performing a quick sweep. She turned to see if the allied Astartes were still alive before moving to the tank, climbing atop it and preparing the Frozen Shard. If the heretics were still alive inside, they were probably wounded -- and wounded humans fought the hardest. She stood on the side opposite where the hatch opened, so if anyone poked a barrel out to shoot her, they would fail.
Spoiler
In other words, she's L where the | is the hatch and the _ is where the hatch would be if it were flat.
(1d100)[89] v. 40 for Bloxly's awareness test. The bit about checking her vitals is more to open the door for whether Donan wants to continue playing her.

"It would seem the 'holy' book of Lorgar did not teach you much about deception." Setesh said mockingly as the Word Bearers stooped over from the wounds caused by the bloodied and now teeth-filled daemon weapon engulfed in warpfire. It seemed to revel in the bloodshed and its cackling was no doubt in ridicule over the dead and dying Astartes.
"If you do not die I would be happy to use you as a sacrifice." he continued, assuming one of them was still barely alive. But probably not for long.
Setesh looked at the skull hovering over Katria. "++How is she?++"
Spoiler
Not sure if Setesh can test anything to check her vitals himself.

Verateka opens the tank hatch. Nothing happens. She carefully peeks in. The interior of the tank is a mess. Blood, ooze, and gore are everywhere. The drivers are quite dead. There are shards embedded everywhere, including several control boxes and panels. Several places are sparking, and there is a bit of smoke coming up from one or two of the panels.
Outside, Setesh spies with his little eyes, a squad of 10 Word Bearers. They lack the black right pauldrons of the enemy, and are sweeping from the same direction that the party originally came from. Also, the renegades that were engaging the tank appear to have mostly moved on.

A great and annoying noise came through Setesh's vox as Bloxly answered him.
Spoiler
It's up to Donan.
Verateka enters the tank. While the most immediate circuitry would be damaged, she doubted the machine spirit itself had been killed entirely. Two fragmentation grenades? It shouldn't have been enough to demolish the tank entirely.

Verateka descends into the disgusting ooze that is pooling on the tank's floor. As her feet touch bottom, she can feel something wrap around her right foot.

'Feel' was an interesting turn of phrase. Her sensors indicated that something had made its way about one of her feet. She looked down at whatever it was, preparing to strike it.
Spoiler
Free action to look. In the event it's something hostile, she'll still have a round to react to it.
