Riptide refuses to acknowledge orders and instead opts to go on a violent frenzy against the closest possible target - your allies in the building. The renegades understandably begin to shoot back.

Setesh heard and saw the traces of a big plasma explosion from the nearby building the heretek was headed. "++Trouble?++" he voxed to the heretek, curious about what was happening.

Katria turns her head towards the sound, but holds her position, looking back towards the enemy lines to see if they're reacting at all to the development.
"++A kink in the system. Apparently I have not routed out the control of Riptide's former, now deceased, controller++." Verateka had Grag charge the nearest, before charging another herself. She broadcast the stop commands to Riptide.
Spoiler
Surprise round, I believe.
(1d100)[67] v. 95 for Grag's charge+swift attack. Presuming it hits:

"++I see. I assume you are taking care of it?++" Setesh could be at the location within a few seconds with his warp-enhanced speed if he wanted to. He had the need to sate his urges, and he did not do that while he waited for the heretek to deal with a incorrectly programmed servitor.

Sacrificial victims was something Setesh did not possess since he used his last slave a while ago. The fact that one of them had died had disappointed him a little. He needed to restock, and if there was potential ones at the heretek's location he had little reason not to go. It would be better now than in the middle of battle ater. Hopefully he could keep some of them alive atleast. Vra'tzaen was in a mood, he noticed.
"A moment." he said, as he sped away from the others' location overseeing the hill, leaving just a hazy afterimage, arriving at Verateka's location a few seconds later. There seemed to be a combat going on between her, renegades of the independant forces and her servitor which had gone out of control.
Spoiler
Should take Setesh 1 round to get there.

Reason: removed the dialog line
Verateka nodded to Setesh as he arrived. "++Don't touch Riptide. But he may target you -- I trust you can dodge?++" She and Grag charged towards the same renegade, intent on thinning the herd and allowing Riptide's murder protocols to shut down. It appeared they were not responding to her commands.
Spoiler
They're charging at the one five meters away.
(1d100)[6] v. 45 for Verateka's charge.
Presuming a hit: (1d10)[9]/2+2, Pen 2
(1d100)[65] v. 85 for Grag's charge.
Spoiler

My apologies, I had gotten the numbers wrong on my first charge. These have been correct to appropriate represent his charge damage.

Setesh does this when the 2 renegades with higher initiative have acted, and assuming there are a few renegades within firing arc of his flamer where Verateka or her minions are included (I imagine servitor and Verateka+hound is on two different flanks of the larger group of renegades, so Setesh would fire in the middle kinda). Added reaction to servitor shooting at Setesh.
Setesh sighed, unheard by anyone. "++What a bother.++" he replied, the heretek's reluctance to hurt her own malfunctioning servitor making the situation harder than necessary. "++I cannot promise how long I can ignore it shooting that plasma cannon at me heretek.++" Setesh expertly drew and lined up his flamer to quickly deal with the renegades, trying to get as many of them as possible within the gout of flames, while avoiding the servitor, the heretek and her mechanical hound. "I suggest standing down and submitting yourselves as my sacrificial slaves if you do not want to taste more burning promethium."
After Setesh had launched his flames at the renegades, he quickly maneuvered to cover as to protect himself from the plasma blast which would probably come again as he now was a target.
Spoiler
Half Action shoot flamer.
Those within the 20m range, 30 degree arc cone-shaped area of flames need to test Agility or be struck with (1d10+9)[16] damage, Pen 4.
If they take damage they need to test Agility or be set on fire. Cover only helps if they are entirely in cover, which I don't think they are if they've been shooting at the servitor.
Half Action move to heaviest cover available within 11 meters.

Reason: added reaction to being shot at by plasma cannon
Verateka weighed the chances of being able to convince the renegades to leave, but determined it would most likely be a lost cause. Riptide needed to be cleared of targets. "++Setesh, you raise a good point. You may wish to vacate the premise, as to prevent Riptide from continuing to identify you as an enemy++."
To Riptide, she sent the simple command: ceasefire.
Spoiler
Simple commands receive a +30, command isn't a trained skill so I take a -20. Infamy point to bump it up 10. Testing v. 80 -- so I'm probably going to fail.
(1d100)[39] <- 5 DoS
She then moved up to one of the nearby renegades while Grag launched into another brutal charge.

Interestingly the servitor seemed to obey the command of the heretek. Just the renegades would be cleaned up in a moment, even without Setesh. "++Clean up then. It would not seem any of them will surrender to my whims. We have no time for indoctrination.++"
Setesh stood by behind the cover he had moved to. It would be a waste of time if he once again acted against the renegades and the servitor would pick up Setesh's obvious power as a threat. The mechanical hound seemed capable enough to handle the rest rather quickly.
Seeing as one of the temporarily blinded and fleeing renegades made the mistake of running past Setesh, the human got swiftly cut in half by the sorcerer's daemon weapon. The rest did not manage to get far either, as Setesh was quick to charge a second renegade and cut him down as well a few seconds later. The deadliness between the sorcerer's flamer and daemon weapon was like comparing night and day.
As for the last renegade, Setesh choose not to kill him right away. He had come there to get a sacrificial victim, and he was not about to just make the whole thing a waste of time. He knocked the renegade out, and dragged the human back to the heretek.
"I have what I came for. Are we done here?" He looked at the servitor, almost expecting it to malfunction again.

"Yes. All is well. It would appear a spirit of Khorne had infiltrated Riptide's programming. I am taking care of this, but until further notice, it will not be wise for me to be any great distance from him. You are abnormally fast -- your proficiency with killing is impressive.
"I will change the plan slightly now. Riptide, Grag and I will remain off and away from the group. We will begin the ranged attack, and we will charge. When we do so, you may wish to join with us. Will that alteration to the plan be acceptable?"
