Verateka attempted to create a bypass device, using pieces of Grag, but failed to construct one. She was working on the field without any assistance, and the electrical shock had jostled her processor. Without Riptide and Grag to allocate subroutines to, the task was simply too difficult at the time.

Setesh was not too interested in wasting time with conversation at this moment, and instead headed the way he had remembered he saw the Alpha Legionnaire as he had entered the temple. It was more likely he would find something of interest in that direction, than by going another. As he more slowly than usual passed the sphere the heretek was fiddling with, he stopped out of annoyance and concentrated to manifest his power of biomancy to heal his leg and arm. As the power of the warp, focused by his will, unbroke his leg and knitted his wounds, the sorcerer felt much better and continued his search.

The Alpha Legionarre appears to have entered a long hall with numerous prayer cells branching out in both direction. Setesh can see a dead end in the hall in the direction of the entrance of the temple, but no end to the hall in the other direction.

Setesh went in the direction of the dead end. Secret doors and rooms was not very rare, and if there was a stop in one and not in the other, there was bound to be some kind of reason for the difference.

What kind of tests can I test to notice things or use knowledge of places such as this?
Setesh observes that one of the doors of the prayer cells is slightly ajar. Nothing that a mortal would notice, but the keen eyes of the Astartes pick up on it. It appears to have been closed with perhaps too much haste. He also remembers that the Alpha Legion makes frequent use of underground passages and hideaways.

Might aswell recover some more wounds with infamy, not like I use them for anything else due to no +10 on tests or able to reroll yet : (2d5)[7] wounds recovered
Barring any unforeseen encounters, Slathissin is able to catch up to the others following their vox signal. In the meantime, he had extinguished the fire of the burning Word Bearer. His webbing is weighed down with additional gear, including two of the Word Bearer helmets, their paint stripped clean by the Night Lord's acidic saliva.
"What happened here?" he asks, having not been witness to the battle with Lamentiron.

Setesh sees a very thin line on the floor, forming a square shape.
Slathissin finds Verateka easily enough. By then, the many of the remaining Scourged and World Eaters have vaguely meandered into the temple, somewhat unsure about what to do, and are picking around at the religious artifacts. Adrios and Xerkis are having a conversation about their war experiences.

The sorcerer quickly identifies the shape as some hidden compartment or secret passage. He tries to find a way of opening it, his curiousness beating like a drum.

Did Setesh see any interesting artifacts or items up until this point in the temple that he'd be able to remember and tell the heretek or the night lord to acquire for him as he's preoccupied at this point?
And how large is the 'secret thing'? Large enough to be a passageway he can enter?

The edge of one side of the square seems to rise slightly to touch the tips of Setesh's gauntlets when they are close enough, allowing him to lift the door.

Setesh opens the door and enters the passage, wondering where it might lead and looking for traces of those who had gone there before him. He activates his stummer just in case, and goes where it might lead.
The passage is a long, dark tunnel just the right height for the average Astartes. It contains little and descends downwards and away from the temple and, if Setesh's sens of direction is correct, the city. Setesh freezes when he hears the telltale heavy footsteps of Astartes boots in the distance, moving away from him.

Setesh takes more care in his movements, not entirely relying on the stummer to keep him quiet as he followed the footsteps. But he wanted to find out where it lead and who he was following -- assumably the same Alpha Legionnaire from before. Perhaps the unknown commander on the vox he had picked up before? He remembered his comm leach, and activated it to see if he could hear any relevant chatter over the vox frequencies.

The sorcerer continues on after the footsteps, surpringly stealthy for being him and considering he was quite badly injured not so long ago.
"++Looking through the temple. Not at this moment. Keep internal vox on. Collect any artifacts you find that look worth collecting.++" he replied simply on his internal vox. Katria had fallen, once again. This time Setesh did not seem to care as much. It was evident she was not strong enough to survive among Astartes, and now she had paid the price of weakness, a second time. The sorcerer was more disappointed that he now was unable to turn her against the Plague Lord's followers than that she had perished.

Setesh carried on, still with a stealthy approach as to not get detected. He was wondering if the ones he had been following were all Alpha Legion and what they were up to. So many questions to be answered.

The tunnels widens up into a small, but well-illuminated chamber. Setesh can see at least three of the Alpha Legion from his current position, but proceeding much further would leave him in plain sight. From his position, he can see that they are not speaking, and the vox leach shows no signs of vox transmissions. That particular mystery is solved in moments when Setesh observes them making gestures in some kind of sign language to each other.
At present, the marines appear to be gathered around a table, pointing at something on it and gesturing to each other in their sign language.

++You do not wish backup?++ the Night Lord seems a little confused at this. Still, as he converges on Setesh's position, he makes a sweep, relying on his auspex and his own senses to try and pinpoint anything worthwhile.
