Question about the Crystal.
Also, if possible, check out new threads. They must be less embarassing than our current ones.

Eh, I didn't think the magical girl outfit was the most embarrassing one the game has to offer. That title probably goes to the one you get from the Agility skill group.
As for best outfit, the Military one looks pretty sharp and awesome. Gotta love uniforms.
Re: God Save the Queen, Indeed: Let's Play Long Live the Queen!
If anyone's curious, I went ahead and compiled all the outfits in the game. If you want to see them all, here it is. If spoiling what the game's outfits look like will somehow ruin your enjoyment of this Let's Play, then by all means please do not click the following tag.

Judging by the tactical use of elipsis whenever the Intel outfit is mentioned, I don't really think it's going to be less awful.
Edit:

Re: God Save the Queen, Indeed: Let's Play Long Live the Queen!
I'll be putting on our new outfit next time, of course...
Part 2,
or
Burnt to a Crisp
Spoiler
This was sort of a non-choice, really. I mean, we put all that work into unlocking an option, we're gonna take it, right?
But stuff would happen if we picked the other choices, so, you know... I needed to ask.
"...So you know what I am."
Ee-yup. You're a witch! Burn him! Burn the Witch! I'm sure he turned someone into a newt and they got better!
You know, it strikes me that strangling his wife with magic -- like what he's trying to do here -- was a dumb call.
I mean, couldn't he have just strangled the lady normally? Or is it once you're a lumen, you've just got to do things with magic, even things you could do just fine on your own?
...Not that I'm advocating murder, or anything. Just efficiency.
"DIE!"
Ahhh, another special affect my timing can't quite catch. Good enough.
Golden chains slash at you like whips.
Boo-and-Yah, my friends! We've avoided a horrible magical death!
Aaandd....
And he suffers for his efforts.
After a moment, an orange crystal materialises next to his body.
His lumen crystal. You know, we never worked out how he has one...But...Well, he doesn't anymore.
And another checlist item get!
'Find a Spare Lumen Crystal' is another item on the checklist that requires high magic early on -- and the crystal we found plays into another item...But we're not likely to get it on this route. Don't worry too much about it.
And with that, we have...Another weekend screen!
The only difference with the last once is that attending Service nets us -1 Angry this time. If we wanted to get Angry, we could do it with Sports very easily. Or playing with toys, actually. Staying willfull is also pretty easy here, but moving to Cheerful, Yielding, Lonely, Afraid, or Pressured would take us a week or two. Not bad options, though, if we wanted to pick up a new skill or work on ones we've abandoned in the magic rush.
Re: God Save the Queen, Indeed: Let's Play Long Live the Queen!
I really feel that we should start moving towards looking in to skills revolving around Royal Demeanor and Conversation. While being able to cast spells of fiery death is all well and good, it doesn't necessarily help us with being able to navigate the murky waters of court politics.
Re: God Save the Queen, Indeed: Let's Play Long Live the Queen!
Let's start normalizing our mood: not sure what's the best way to do that at this point, but I assume it would involve lowering our high willful rating.
As for activities, I think one more magic class(boosting whichever is lowest at this point), and then Internal Affairs. Batman must know what's going on in his own house, after all.

Re: God Save the Queen, Indeed: Let's Play Long Live the Queen!
I agree lets work towards Depressed. For classes it depends if we can immediately shift over. If we can, I vote we train Horses and Internal Affairs, if we stay Willful this week replace Horses with Wield Magic.

Aha!
I don't believe we had a Mood Check on this Update 2, but as far as I can tell, Attending Court will make us Depressed. That's my vote, then train Horses and Internal Affairs.
Re: God Save the Queen, Indeed: Let's Play Long Live the Queen!
Actually, I think it will make us Pressured. Or angry.
Edit:
Also, activities are the same as usual, we actually need to vote on that to see what mood we'll be in. Right now, I've got one actual vote on that.
Going Visit Tombs first will make us Willful for the day in between, going Attend Court first will make us Pressured. Take note that being Pressured grants a bonus to both Faith and Athletics, not just Faith (as the tutorial is missing this bit of info).
Or there could be something wrong with my version, I dunno.
Re: God Save the Queen, Indeed: Let's Play Long Live the Queen!
Visit Tombs.
