@V oh that really sucks Mauve! I had a similar issue last summer when I came back from St. Kitt's. Except we were stuck in Miami, because for some reason, you need to get your luggage from the conveyor belt, get it rechecked, go through security again to get both your carry-ons and body re searched (I was lucky enough to get both a full body scan and a pat down). We had to wait until much later to get a flight back home. Needless to say, I was not pleasant, at all. Especially since a few more things went wrong when in Miami's airport.

12. Back in normallandia. I'm pretty sure the pilot was under the influence, judging by the landing. And then we didn't make our connecting flight because we were late, and now we have to take the train home.

Yeah, but its a bit more invasive when you forget you have a mechanical pencil in your pocket when you're in the full body scanner, which is considered a deadly weapon. Along with two jars of jam that we had bought in St. Kitt's and a tube of toothpaste. Not very happy at all.
@V it's even worse because we were so close to missing our flight, we didn't have the jars of jam inspected by the TSA and just had them thrown away. But, because my luck is generally that way, we ended up missing our flight anyway, even though I sprinted across the airport in an attempt to make it.

Ugh, that's bad luck Akow. I've gotten a pat down before, but nothing invasive, just a check to see that my shirt was glittery, not nuclear. 10
