Lets see if this works for me

I just thought, you've not been editing in those dice rolls have you? Because you can't edit rolls into a post.

@StormVermin: Go right ahead! Group initiative seems to make things much more fluid. Then its just post and you apply actions in the correct order.

Yeah, edits seem to be the issue here. That's a bit silly, but I guess I'll just roll here. Since two of you have +5 to initiative, and two of you have +3, I'll just role once with +4 modifier. Here goes your initiative:

(1d20+4)[20]

As for the thought eater:

(1d20+8)[21]

Looks like the monster goes first by a slim margin.

I'm sorry, but Idonas was not in the front and would be well behind the others.

And he wouldn't be flat footed, just because he is not acting first doesn't mean he is going to get caught unawares, he was fully aware of the creature in front of everyone.

Actually we're all Flatfooted, to quote the rules:

At the start of a battle, before you have had a chance to act (specifically, before your first regular turn in the initiative order), you are flat-footed.

Very well then...but seriously, it ignores everything in front if it, ignoring AOO's and comes after Idonas?

EDIT:

Wahtever, I guess I'll take the damage. Could you post up a map of the combat?

Hm, I figured out you would be sort of evenly spread out. I guess sending heavily armed and armored people in front makes a bit more sense. OK, we'll get a map in here in a few hours.

Considering the abilities and personalities of the 4 of us I'd picture Kraxan standing in the middle of the 15ft wide space with the others behind him, though maybe Fir would stand along side him.

Yah I'll agree with that. Though once I can get some Weapon Finesse love going, Jethran will make a decent mid range skirmisher.

If we're going rows, it would prolly be Fir and Kraxan, then Jethran and Idonas.

Did we want to work out standard battle procedure now or do it IC?

@Anyone: For clarity's sake does this line

Mean that A bard GAINS an extra 2 rounds of Performance per level?

I do agree with being up front, but i think that if given a chance, i'll be a step behind Kraxan, since the first and most necessary step for me is to scare the living daylights out of my targets first. Epic natural 20

SWEEET!

I was not looking forward to only 9 rounds of performance per day.

I think I'll leave the debuffing to meemas since a dread is built around it.

And that's exactly what I'm building for. Not so much for damage.

Also, I hope you don't mind that I fluff my intimidates that way storm vermin. It seems more fitting than yelling or such for a psionic character.

OK, a quick diagram of the fight then:

#ABC
1JI
2 KTE
3  F
4  W

TE - Thought Eater
W - the woman

This is what the cellar looks like after Fir's move.

Can I use my move action to attack if I'm not moving?

If So(1d20+3)[8]

If not I'll wait till next round. Feel free to use this roll.

Meriss did you know you can delete those extra 2 posts instead of editing them?

Haven't heard anything from this front in a while. I haven't posted because Fir doesn't have much to ask, he's just looking forward to going out into the world. I'm hoping the game hasn't died out.

Jethran is pretty much the worst "Face" Character I've ever made. Like. Ever.

Ironic.
