So this starts the run of Fire emblem 6 Sealed sword. Starting Eliwood's son Roy. There are many changes compared to Fire emblem 7, and this game was never officially released in English, so this should be a new challenge to all of us.

Rule #1 Any character that falls to 0 hp dies.
#1b Certain characters have excepts to this however. (Roy, Lilina till Chapter 8x, Elphain till Chapter 12x, Sophia till Chapter 14x, Juno, Zealot, Dayan, Shin, Sue until Chapter 17 or 20x depending, Miredy, and Zeis until 21x) I.e I must obtain every chapter.
#1c If someone is wielding a legendary weapon when they die, I must re-start, strip them of their weapons and items and try to kill them off by sending them into throes of enemies. If they survive they can come back to the team, otherwise they died.
Rule #2 You may vote for what level I may arena grind to on what chapters have arenas. (You may vote a minimum level, raise certain characters to certain levels, no arena grinding (Please not this.) Anything)
Rule #3 I will be using the same rules for supports as last game. (You get to vote on what supports I use, but if a support happens and won't lock me out of A support, I will use it) Once I kill the boss, I will support grind for 10 turns or till turn 30 whatever is greater.
Rule #4 I may go as slow as I want. There is no time limit.
Rule #5 Again, your character suggestions are just that suggestions.

My thoughts on the chapter

Well this chapter went okay. I didn't miss Wolt at all, so that was good.
Roy's first level up was good. Hopefully he keeps this up so I don't have to carry him.
Alan's first level up was okay. Extra defense is nice. Alan's second level up was okay. Very offensively but not hitting focus
Lance's first level up was okay. The same as Alan's second one.
New characters

Roy
Roy is the lord of this game, and is probably one of if not the weakest lord in all of Fire emblem. He has mediocre growths all around (except for Luck), and even if you get lucky with them, you have to wait until chapter 21 (Of 24 plus sidequest and final) to promote him. In addition his caps are 25 all around except for Hp and Luck, so even if you get lucky he won't be that great.
Roy can support with (Marcus, Allen, Lance,) Thany, Sue, Lilina, Lalam, Cecilia, Sophia.
Marcus
Marcus fulfills the Jeigan archetype of the game (Unlike in Fe 7 where one could argue he was a Oifaye.) Marcus sole purpose in this game is to cover for our other units with meat shieldlyness. And to give us his weapons. He will be outshined very quickly.
Marcus can support with (Allen, Lance, Roy,) Lilina
Allen
Allen is our red cavalier, and unlike Fe 7 that makes him the strong cavalier. With a decent 45% strength growth he fulfills this role decently. In Fe 6 Paladin caps are much better so he has an edge there. And on average he caps Strength and Speed at 25. Allen is not bad, and assuming he can get skill, I can see me using him.
Allen can support with (Lance, Roy, Marcus) Ward, Thito
Lance
Lance is our green cavalier and is our swift and skilled Cavalier. However thanks to the great skill cap of Paladins in Fe 6, Lance won't cap skill without a serious skill blessing, I think he'll be slightly less useful then Allen on average, but if Allen fails to perform it shouldn't be too bad.
Lance can support with (Roy, Marcus, Allen) Lott, Clarine
Bors
Bors is our first knight. He like Marcus is our meat-shield wall with which to protect our fragile units. Bors has the base stats for a knight, but his growths are much more cavalier like. This leads to Bors capping the abysmal 21 speed cap General have, but being unable to cap defense.
Bors can support with Asthor, Lilina, Barth, Wendy, Oujay
It makes sense: I mean, Roy's the only one with paired endings. He's the only one who can end up with anyone. Sorry, all you people: It's Roy or nothing.
Also, my goodness, but the designwork on Bors is maybe my favorite of any starting armor knight. He's...Just so... majestic. With his hair and his chin.
You know what? In celebration I'll put my 2 gp in on the supports this one time and put a vote for RoyxLilina...

Well I'm writing my own epilogue, and I will be fixing that.
Well....I kind of like Gonzales' supports as a whole. And I also very much like Astohl's supports. Maybe he and Igraine can have a happy ending in an epilogue. Maybe-perhaps?
I don't have too many feelings about specific supports at the moment; I generally find that some characters have supports that are pretty good (for FE6 standards), regardless of who they're with, and some characters have supports that are just terrible regardless of who they're with.

(Well, no Wyvern Riders on that chapter, thankfully, as they have >10 Defense as well.) I thought I was done with those kinds of stats when I finished GhebFE. At least my characters are fairly RNG blessed.
Also, the accuracy of those fighters on the first level makes me sad. They were attacking at ~50ish% against my characters. Stupid two number RNG.
Fun side note: this being a translation of a Japanese region game, there are no language censors we see in America. Lance (at least I think it was lance) has a death quote that does a very good job of demonstrating this.
