What is in the town with regards to merchants and tailors?
First of all, sorry for the slowness in posting. I'll update IC tomorrow.
Most of the shops are closed at the moment. Passfurd town has a wide array of trades, from timber to carpentry to barrel-making to sausage-making, but in terms of what adventurer's might be interested in:
- MacDougal and Sons' Blacksmithing (if you're looking for arms and armor)
- MacDonalds' General Store (for general adventuring equipment, clothing, etc.)
Town's not big enough for a proper tailors - generally, women do most of the day-to-day sewing and mending and homespun and the like; fancy clothing is ordered at the general store and delivered from the big cities to the south.
I have an idea that might work out in our favor in the future
I need to find a female that can tailor me some kids clothes in case I need that disguise. I have already been mistook for one like twice already... adolescent go boom sounds like a fun surprise in case we need it.
What kinds of rolls do I need to make?

Hay, are we switching over to the new playtest materials?
There's not really that much new about them - I'll be using the updated monster stats and XP values certainly, and if and when magical items appear, I'll definitely use the new stuff. However, the classes and the basic rules haven't changed.
But if and when playtest packets change stuff we're dealing with atm, we'll make the switch.
