And that makes 12 spares. With a lord that's 13 characters per map, more then I'll probably ever allow. (Although in the future it might be nice to have a 17 or 18 map)
Penguinator has three days to finish a lord, otherwise Herp will start us off.
I can make/run some maps too, so that we can get an actual draft going.
i.e. We come up with a map pool, starting small with, say, 2maps (1 from each of us) and then adding more as we go along. That way, when people are drafting, they can see what map they get assigned to (say halfway through the draft?) and pick accordingly.
We can even drop some of the classic FE defense maps into the pool, except, you know, modified to be actually challenging.
I added a fourth guy for the amusement of myself and others as a sort of experiment. Selim and Tara have the same Growth rates, but he's going to be taking the Average level-ups.

I keep quoting your posts. But they might not mean what I think they do...
I was thinking of objective maps, Reach X/Catch Y/Capture Z style. It's not a big deal and the first few maps are probably going to be defense anyways (if only to feel out the various power-levels of the characters... it's hard right now with 15+ draft-able PCs and a bunch of lords).
I'll do the double-checking on your PCs/lord.
----------
PC draft proposal
2 picks, 1 ban (removes character from pool) -> cycle to next; continue until the allotted number of PCs for that Lord is chosen. Order is by Lord's Point Totals (lowest to highest); for first round, just roll off for order.
After 2 rounds of picks/bans (bans unnecessary?), maps are revealed to drafters.
After 3 rounds of picks/bans, maps are assigned to drafters.
At the end of drafting, drafters can make up to 3 trades (I think this is a good amount).

Thoughts?
For my maps anyone could pick anyone, since there would only be one lord, no character would be called once.
If you want to do it for your maps that way. That could work.

Yup, your Lord character looks fine to me.

How many draft-able PCs do we have so far? I count 16 (I think?) but only 15 in the OP (unless I can't count); is that accurate?
At any rate, I'm done with my first map... of four (sketches are done for all of them, so it should be simple enough to translate them to the computer).
I'll start up a draft once we get to at least 16 draft-able characters (since it'll take a while to get through the draft, I'm sure). I'm aiming for about three participating players. Since Illven's been good enough to run this as well, one slot will be going to him.
Otherwise, participating Lords will be randomly drawn and drafting will occur in random order (I will roll here, so you know that I'm fudging nothing). I'll be doing the draft in the following manner:

How do Bans* work? When a Lord Bans a character, that character cannot be drafted by any other Lords. It is not, however, removed from the drafting pool unless banned again by another Lord. Bans can be used to either frustrate other Lords or to "call" a specific character that you may want to pick (and maybe trade).
*This is an experimental mechanic that I may remove if it turns out to not be working too well.

Well you have us picking 24 characters, but we only have 16 drafts (I counted the OP) In addition we can't really pick your characters impartially. Which brings us down to 10.
And thank you I added my lord to the starting post. I'm also thinking about rolling a flier. We don't have any of those yet.

Wait what? No fliers? Unacceptable! I would totally roll a Peg Knight right this second but it's late and I really ought to be doing homework right now. Maybe in the morning.
Oh drat. I was thinking that we'd just pretend that the player was absentee if someone picked one of mine. At any rate, I'll start the draft up when the number of not-mine PCs is 16 or higher.

I'll be rolling a Wyvern knight. But more fliers will always help.

Yeah but then the lord may miss the extra strategic input.
I'd rather just start the draft (once we hit 16 characters that aren't mine) with my generated characters in it. Sure you lose a slot or two, but I'd really rather start this sooner than later. I mean, you don't really need 9 people to out-strategize me in a 1L8P map, right?
Find the right sprites and then modify them (yes, yes, vague I know. But it's art not science). In this case I used a Hawkeye base since he is the manliest man. And use references.
