That thumb better get in working order soon, me's wanting to see some more of Rich's work before 2012 just in case it's real.
Is it wrong for me to picture Rich's thumb twitching to the training montage theme from the Rocky films?

Take your time and get well soon Rich, and many blessings to Mrs Giant too. A great big thank you is in order too. At such a rough time it's the sign of a true gentleman to consider us fans. Chin up, thumb pampered. :D
Back after a long sabbatical from comic books (a much regretted one at that! Trying to navigate the forums to make a well-wish without seeing any spoilers was the biggest challenge of my life - I haven't read a strip since the end of Paladin Blues and eagerly await my shiny new print copies...)
Going back to blinkers and 'la-la-la-ing' over at the Playground now.

The one, more and/or fewer god(s) will not allow the world to end before oots because it's far too awesome. No one, not even inanimate objects, are immune to its hilarity.
Thanks for keeping us updated and good luck with the rehab process. Have you considered using a trackball mouse?

Rich, you have my sympathies. Nerve damage: been there, still there, and I don't care for the T-shirt. And yes, loss of strength is part of the package. Things do get better, if frustratingly slowly, and all I can suggest is that you try not to get too down about it, and be diligent about whatever your medical people recommend. And let people help you.
I just figured I'd add to the well wishes. Not only do I want you to get better, I also want you to become at least moderately wealthy from your endeavors.
Also, Happy Holidays!

So.... because his thumb has limited mobility, he should use a mouse designed to be moved exclusively with your thumb?
Or are you thinking about a different kind of mouse?
That's kind of the point of rehab. . .it forces one to use a specific body part in order to build strength and mobility. But the decision to use such a mouse should be made with advice from Rich's physiotherapist.
Their: a possessive pronoun like “her” or “our” There: refers to a place ("the Kobold is over THERE"), or to indicate the existence of something, or to mention something for the first time. ("THERE is a Halfling sneaking up on him") They're: a contraction of “they are.”
Figured this would be the best place to put this. Glad to see you are able to do what you love again, and it is awesome that your recovery is going so well! Hope you get back to 100%, and that you do it quickly. Best of luck!

Put the randomness back in magic and release the restrictions of "magic ammo"

Hell, if you do things right you only need a single virgin to start with. After that, they get home delivered
