by the Swordlords of Restov, acting upon the greater good and
authority vested within them by the office of the Regent of the
Dragonscale Throne, has granted the right of exploration and travel
within the wilderness region known as the Greenbelt. Exploration
should be limited to an area no further than thirty-six miles east and
west and sixty miles south of Oleg’s Trading Post. The carrier of
this charter should also strive against banditry and other unlawful
behavior to be encountered. The punishment for unrepentant banditry
remains, as always, execution by sword or rope. So witnessed on this

System: Pathfinder Player Count: 5 Style of Play: Sandbox Allowed Content: Anything out of the SRD, I'm a firm believer in the convince me line of thought. Give me a good reason for your character to be and ill let them. That said your best chance to get in is to be connected to the area and have a back-story that gives me leverage i mean ammo i mean ideas. Also one of your two traits should probably be from the players guide.
Character Creation:
Backstory: Whatever feels right for the character.
Experience: Level one
Wealth: Everyone gets 200 gold to start
Ability Scores: Point buy, 25 points. As a bit of a minmaxer myself i understand the temptation to get those extra points by going down to 7. But that's why I'm giving you 25 points. Now I'm not saying its an instant no entry, but i am looking for balanced characters that can handle the political and nation managing aspects of the later parts of the game.
Hitpoints/Health: Max first level, average +1+con after that.
Alignment: Any you want, but i reserve the right to be the hand of micro-karma if you burn down an orphanage, and I'm a big fan of naturally flowing consequences.
Other Notes: Once the players are selected there is going to need to be a little talk about tracking of the hex map and the like. Personally i would like a player to keep track of what you have or haven't explored but if need be i will do it myself.
Since this is stemming from a thread that already had a few requests I'm going to make the cutoff point for entries two days or so from now.

I'm interested. In the vein of being a diplomat, how would a wizard go about getting the core skills (diplomacy, sense motive, and bluff) as class skills?

You could probably get one or two of them with a trait. But for all of them you would probably have to multiclass. You could look at the feat cosmopolitan

My character would probably be a bit to unpleasant to normally be a good team player, so having another party-member who's interested in keeping their friend alive would be wonderful. I would, of course, extend the same to you.

Coming from the earlier thread, I see more sources are available now. Nice... So I'm reverting to the original character idea, a Sky Druid: Veyraan. I did this update in a hurry, so I might do a few touch-ups later. For example, I didn't know what to do with 200 gold at first. I'm sure I can find ideas later
I have a great concept in mind for a Sorcerer (or maybe Bard). Not sure how I'll build it mechanically yet. A highly charismatic, capital "B" Bastard who is too troublesome, embarrassing, etc. to have around. So they send him with the expedition into the Stolen Lands, where he will find either death or glory.

Dragonus, I'm glad to see this game gearing up and that you could pickup my slack. Also happy to see some of the same people making the migration over to this thread. While I don't unfortunately have time to run the game, I will have time to participate as a player if it's at all agreeable.
I'll submit my Half-Elf Bard for your consideration in any event. I originally designed him for a Kingmaker game that never took off awhile back, and then used him as the example character when I was looking to run it. I've updated him for the 25 point buy, but otherwise he remains unchanged.
I'd love to make a Ninja. Be all Spymaster and all. Halfling female, gonna make everyone think I'm a little human girl. Who's not in the party, of course.
