I would like to join if I may. I've been trying to get a game like this for a few years, but it never seemed to have drawn interest or attention... so I gave up.
Right now there are only four of us. While we don't have a divine caster Rikuto can cast CLW. We don't have a melee or someone who can deal with traps.
I do have a ranger (guide/skirmisher) already written up if we really think we need a front liner.

C'mon, folks, step right up!
I'll start it up soon if you folk want, but don't hang around the recruitment thread for weeks. That's bad taste.
Well, if you'd also enjoy playing a Ranger, I think that it would be handy to have somebody frontlining. If you'd rather play wizard, though, Gunslinger is d10 and Bard is d8 with decent melee'ing, so it would be workable.

I apologize for my extended... absence. I have been somewhat flooded with RL problems at work. (4d6b3)[14] (4d6b3)[8] (4d6b3)[15] (4d6b3)[9] (4d6b3)[11] (4d6b3)[18]
if they suck... that sucks.
Ok, doable.
I'll go Halfling Fighter. Why? Because I love halflings.
Is improved buckler defense an acceptable feat?

Basically, I'll throw up a thread. First four people who step up with finished, approved characters get that thread. I'll keep starting new ones as long as there are people filling them up.
First thread goes up tomorrow. Remember, I'm always recruiting.

Cool! It might be nice to mix a little? I'm fine waiting for the second thread, since my character would kind of be stepping on Sournote's toes. Plus, that means both groups can get a frontliner.

No, I mean that it's a free-for-all in terms of getting in a thread. First four people to post in a thread get the thread, as long as they have a finished character.
I was going to TWF. and use improved buckler defense. Until I rolled a 2 for my HP... as a fighter. *shudders*

I just thought I'd bring up that normal Pathfinder rules say to take max HP at first level. A bad roll forces you to rearrange your stats and feats entirely- as demonstrated. I rolled max, and it's unfair to somebody who wants to play a frontliner that the squishy 10-Con-with-a-spell Sorc has more HP than them.
EDIT: Don't forget, you get your favored class bonus. You can put that into hp.
I would rather have rolled a 7, 8, 9, or a 10... and gone TWF, Improved Buckler defense. Next Level Dodge, then Shield Focus.
Instead... It'll take me until level 4 or 6 to get those accomplishments done.

Is that the Improved Buckler Defense that's normally a class feature, or am I just missing it? Shielding while attacking looks pretty cool, especially since it lets you bring your enhancement bonuses up quite a bit!
@Ralasha: I'd drop dodge and take shield focus. That way you can take Improve Shield Bash, which is like Improve Buckler Defense but with all shields. As well as you still get +1 AC like dodge.

Improved Buckler Defense: You still gain the AC bonus from an equipped buckler while wielding a weapon in your off hand.
That's it. PHB II in 3.5 or complete Warrior.
Fighter Feat.
Requires BAB 1, and proficiency with bucklers.

Ah! I looked it up, and Paizo has something with the same name for a fighter archetype as a 19th level class feature, but it lets you do it with two-handed fighting.
