[PF] Rise of the Runelords with a difference (Closed)
As the title of this thread makes it obvious, I will be running a game of Rise of the Runelords with a difference. The difference is that it will not just be Rise of the Runelords, but at least to other games will be played. These will not however be run by me and I am not only looking fo players but also people who can GM for any PF adventure path. My orriginal idea was that it would be the three Varisian adventures. RotRL, CotCT and Second Darkness, but if you want to run something different, I'm fine. So anyone wo is interested in both GMing and playing in a game, this is for you.
Ya that sounds great. I'd play it I guess. I like the idea of modules being mixed together. I've seen it in other systems before and it opens up some interesting possibilities.

Would you be willing to run any games, do you have any APs? I'd rather it was CotCT or Second Darkness but any is fine.

My friend sent me pdfs of nearly all of the first 8 Adventure Paths published a while back. I'd prefer to have bought them, but, well, I have them, so if anyone needs them...

I don't have much experience with the Adventure Paths for Pathfinder, but I'd like to express interest as a player. I haven't had much luck with pbps this past month and I'm hoping to find one that will last a while.

I have access to Second Darkness and could potentially DM it.
Just want to check and make sure I'm following the idea here though: You want to gather three DM's (yourself included) to run three AP's and each DM will have a place in the two AP's they're not running, correct?
I'm just getting into PF so I'd rather play as a character. But I can GM given the notes and time.
Interested certainly though.

If you guys are interested, I'd be willing to run Jade Regent as a kind of gaiden game to this utilizing whatever continuity is established in the campaigns by us. The GM's would be automatically accepted of course.

hello all, I'm cromwell, i'm interested in joining up, both as a player and possibly as a GM, i've never been but i'm willing to give it a try, and though i don't own the ap for CotCT i could most likely get access to it, as my gaming group has been playing it and we are pretty much at the end so i could probably snag it from my gm, or at least all the paths until we catch up with the the last one.

I think we're good for GMs in that case, all we need now is three players to accompany us. Let the recruiting begin and may the odds be ever in your favour.
so is the idea to have runelords lead into crimson throne which will lead to second darkness and finally into jade regent? take it up into epic levels, how do we plan to take things past 20? force a multi class? or just extrapolate?
or will each be they're own game?

I believe the games are supposed to be run at the same time with different characters for each. I'm not entirely sure though as any concrete guidlines have yet to be revealed.

As I said, I'm definitely interested, though I'd prefer to hold off on making a character until the GMs agree on the Big 16. Also, I need to read up on the settings.

This is how this will work, the four GMs will each run a game and play in the other three games. The four games will all run simultaneously and you'll have different characters for each game. I'm uncertain about how we'll manage to do both RotRL and Jade Regent beacuse some of the characters are in both. The four GMs will decide over a sixteen over PM which will be up soon.
Edit: I have my character ideas sorted, the idea is, three brothers: the Drex's who are framed for killing their parents in Korvosa, the oldest: Jacob flees to Riddleport after he discover the magic inside him and tries to trick the gambling hall itno getting money.
The middle child: Anthony is the one caught and gets put in prison for a few years before he is found innocent, he realises that he must prove himself as a noble person and becomes a devout paladin of Iomedae.
The yougest: William is scared ans flees to Magnimar at the age of fourteen, where he decides to take on a duel personality as a Djinni he then goes to Sanpoint at the age of fifteen where he realised his homosexuality, he alomst instantly fell in love with Sandru and although he often distant he truly loves Sandru.
Here's a quick overview:
Jacob: A charismatic gambling cheating Sorcerer
Anthony: A devout Paladin of Iomedae
William: A homosexual distant Synthesist Summoner.
How does that sound?
