@Spacewolf: Thanks. I'd ask, but it'll be more fun to find out!
As for going in there, roleplaying issues aside, it does make a great deal of sense from a tactical stand-point anyway. (If there was anyplace to store our stuff, it would be where they'd have a use for it, maybe say, where they'd test their memory wipe.) And while I, personally, am all for going in there and maybe finding out more of the plot, Nicola doesn't like that place.
If possible, she'll set fire to it before leaving, once you get her in.
Oh by the way, I can't seem to find a physical description for Robb, and the way I write posts, I would be very appreciative of one. Pretty Please?
@TraceHyde: Oh, no problem. I kind of got that from 'nice lady'. In fact, I was having fun imaging what comes next.

I'll have fluff thrown up by Thursday- There's a BUNCH of stuff I need to do before tomorrow morning, and then there's what's left for my night class...
I'll take... Navy for speech.

My idea was not that my character had their mind wiped mroe than anyone else, just that... well, I'll wait for a decent opening. I have to spend a bit building to it. Not sure if I should wait before my next post to see what the other players do or how the DM responds. Everyone seems to be diving in now, so I'll limit my posts to banter with Nicola for a bit, if nothing else.
Turning in for the night, hopefully nothing too important happens while I sleep. Just assume that Chie sits at the back making spot checks (+5, I think) and using total defence actions or something equally inoffensive until I get this pesky SLEEP thing out of the way.
I don't think anyone will be getting terribly far until the DM responds and tells us where we wind up, so people straying too far won't be much of an issue. Though, as big as this party is, I still think it would be a bad idea to split it - let's not make BOM's job any harder than it has to be, after all.
First: find out source of voice in case it is one of the illustrious Exposition Granters from on high.
Second: find equipment and swat up
Third: kill our way out.
In the meantime, I'm gonna go study electrochemistry. And, since my attention span is about two seconds long, investigate everyone's sheets and try to figure out strategy for when a bunch of armed people show up to stab us.
Right echo ive added a physical description to the sheet for you although it may be abit lacking so if you want something futher defined i'll see what i can do
I want to use Speak With Objects, but it doesn't list an SEP cost. Shall I assume 5 SEP, since Speak with Dead is used as its basis and it is a level 3 spell?

unless a cost is stated, it's free. though don't expect to much inforation from a rock

Do I have to declare it when I use a power? In any case, YES I did use Fullbringing to Speak With Objects, I'm not just roleplaying an non-medicated schizophrenic. I think my next course of action will be to speak to the walls and ask them the quickest way out. Ooh, maybe I can ask the northern corridor what is at the end of it. Tat's teh problem with talking with something with an effective intelligence of 0 - it takes a bit of ad hoc on the part of the DM what the object is even capable of 'knowing'. Like, is a doorway aware of who passed through it, and if so would them wearing a mask fool the door despite the door having no eyes? Maybe the objects should use my effective mental scores when I speak to them, since I'm using my effectively exerting my will on them.
But it didn't SEE what walked on it, no heard it. It may have 'felt it' but that's a bit of a fallacy based around an idea that just because there is no external organ attributed to sense of touch in our colective minds then touch is necessarily a feeling one can have while not possessing such organs. However, nerves and other such things are require dto feel; even gathering information from impressions made, there wouldn't be....
I just realised if I carry on this train of thought and convince the DM of it, it wil cause automatic failure of my attempt to ask the carving knife of its weilder, so I'll button it.
I think Shadow hasn't posted yet. She's still in the game, right?
Still anxious to hear what that knife has to say and whether or not I found any good improvised weapons so I can get back to the main group. I know I'm probably going to be disappointed by the knife, don't worry. It's probably just going to say 'I dunno, I'm a knife for God's sake'. Then again by the premise of fullbrings being the object one places their ego upon, if the knife prominently belonged to someone or held a strong impression o their feelings while they committed a gruesome murder, surely THAT would impact the 'soul' of the object to which I am speaking. Really I'm just hoping to get an idea of what's going on.
Oh, and teh recent post kind of raised this question; I don't suppose our equipment is in plain sight, is it?
