Wilhelm:
Investigates the hull deeper, and in light of the great spot check roll I'll let you search barrels on the way. Search check (1d20+9)[29]
Dayne:
Currently on F3 on the aftdeck, I've left him on the map to keep it clear, but he is not inside, as it may seem.
Hit, dead
Hargrave:

Miss
Glenn:
Cowers
Eckhard
Seems a shame to waste some good rolls, so NPC'd as a 5ft step to D5 and attacking the soldier in E6.
Hit, Dead
Dierna:
So I'm not sure where to go with him, but I'd rather not NPC a headlong change, so instead I've had him move to stand between Glenn and the soldiers, also takes total defense, +4 to AC. Let me know if you'd rather move somewhere else
Soldiers:
D7 attacks Hargrave (1d20+4)[15] damage (1d6+3)[7]
C8 moves to B7 and attacks Dierna (1d20+4)[6] damage (1d6+3)[9]
D8 moves to E6 and attacks Eckhard (1d20+4)[11] damage (1d6+3)[8]
All missed
Soldiers in D9, E9 and F8 are now part of the fight, and take their turn with the rest of the soldiers.

Spoiler
Remember guys, if you are lower down in the initiative order, you can always post conditional actions as well in case your original action can't be carried out.
Well, if I had've known that the rolls would make Hargrave look like a fool, I wouldn't have put anything into strength. Kind of hard to justify him being a weapon master when he's doing so poorly at it.
I'm sure that if they make it out of this scrape, he'll train extra hard to get back into fighting fit to make up for this though. He wasn't exactly expecting to come out of retirement after all.
Isn't the bit with the magic thingy between Chapel/Tapper still the most recent set of NPC actions? I for one just haven't gotten around to posting my actions since then.
Incidentally, I'll go on the aggressive if Guy I Attacked is dead before my round. Not all-out or anything, just move-and-attack the next nearest soldier.

Er, Exeson, I don't see any rolls to confirm those crits, so you should probably roll confirmation before declaring how much damage we take. Once someone makes a critical threat, they have to roll again against the target's AC, and only if they make that number do they actually deal double or triple damage, according to their weapon.
The difference between 9 and 14 isn't much in my case, but a crit confirmation on Dayne is fairly important since if the soldier attacking him botches it could literally mean life or death.
Also, despite critical damage being x2 or x3 on the weapon, it doesn't just double the original damage roll. The person who crits has to roll another die of damage, which could be lower or higher than the original roll, and add them together.
.... Wow, it's been a while since I've played D&D, I completely forgot about all the follow ups for Crits. Probably doesn't help I'm hungover. Sorry guys.
Crit confirm vs Hargrave (1d20+4)[14]
Damage (1d6+3)[8]
Crit confirm vs Dayne (1d20+4)[16]
Damage (1d6+3)[5]

Phew, no crits this time, so Dayne is still standing. Still some pretty ouch rolls you've been getting oh mighty GM.
Then again, when you've got so many bodies on the field, some of them are bound to hit something.
I'll call it even if I can manage to hit one of the louts on deck before the fight is over. Otherwise I'll silently grump about it while plotting my revenge.
Well, mine would have been a hit, without defensive fighting, but that's minimum damage, and probably not enough to kill him. At this point, I'd rather have the AC bonus.

Hey guys, i'm really sorry about the wait for the IC post, it was halloween celebrations and we had some friends from out of town staying for the weekend.
On the plus side it looks like things are almost being wrapped up.
