So far, no fight has been close at all to a TPK. And you should expect that during any given fight, someone might go negative.
That is why it is called a fight.

I'm more lenient about character death until they his - their constitution score. Usually maim them is some dramatic RP way if they are between -10 and - Constitution score.

I just thought of something. If things go south, in addition to Miriam's Obscuring Mist, Shiny can use Ghost Sound to cover our escape.
