How do we even attack them in melee without provoking an attack of opportunity?
One option is go Total Defense, once they come and attack you you 5' step and full attack.
Right now Valen is hoping that Kurt doesn't charge, maybe he'd simply ready an action.... That is what I'm hoping, otherwise my delayed actions isn't as good.
Oh, and Achinca, you rock! Thanks for Turning Valen into a monster! He'd not want Enlarge Person since hes an AC monster most of the time, he's all about the buff and Bull's Strength is his favorite! Too bad I can't actually get the spell in 3.5 with the build I am running. Makes me actually want to try Gishing with Battle Sorcerer....
So, we need Mithrils Round 1 action, then Kurt's round 2 action. Valen is delaying.
And we have Miriam's round 2 action which should work out perfectly. I'll then do my best to help Miriam contribute to this battle, we will need it.
I'm more lenient about character death until they his - their constitution score. Usually maim them is some dramatic RP way if they are between -10 and - Constitution score.
Best outcome: Shiny loses an eye. But it's the wrong one and someone back in Linwood notices.
He will just make up a story about how some holy water got splashed on it and magically healed the eye but then he lost the other eye when unholy water got dripped into it.

Which was a noble sacrifice sine he was force to balance on a rock precipice while solving a riddle involving not spilling the holy waters lest he fall into the fires of hell itself...
I meant the first one. That is the reason I hit the one in the back, so he will be weak by the time he gets to the front.
Ah, okay. I sure hope some ogres are left alive by the time they get up to us. I want to use sneak attack! In any case, this ogre's asleep for the next 3 minutes; we'll decapitate him after the fight.
One of the others might stop to wake him up, which would at least delay them and dilute their charge. If they all wait behind to charge together, we get a couple of ranged attacks.
Don't forget that the giant who was sleeping still has -2 to attack and -2 to AC until Shiny goes! (Though it looks like he missed his javelin at Valen either way).

Thanks for pointing that out, you'll have to keep good track of unsettling enchantment for me, I may not always remember it.
Next round it's sneak attack time. Can I sneak attack without provoking an attack of opportunity?
Any movement inside of a threatened square creates an AoO, but you can avoid that with a DC 15 Tumble check. Remember, to get sneak attack you will have to be flanking the enemy which can be difficult with Large Creatures. Each of these creatures will only get a single AoO though each turn.

Still got 5 L1s left.
When they get close, please switch to spamming color spray. We could use the blindness, and if the ogres drop their weapons when stunned then picking them back up provokes an AoO.
