...Goddammit. Please don't let this fight go south now; we just took out the toughest one and now Mithril's out of her more powerful spells.
Only is she can get a Sneak Attack out of it...Which means Valen and Kurt have to go first, to see if she can flank. Which they are anyway.
There is no possible way for her to flank this turn. Have to be on an opposing corner to flank. Only have enough movement for Natalia to engage the from of one.

Nope, she will go in the second block initiative after Kurt, Valen, and Ntalia go.
Maybe have Ntalia move to AF8 and ready an attack action, just in cast Kurt doesn't charge and holds his ground. Or reload, 5' step, and shoot though Kurt. He does grant cover to the enemy. Mwhich I may hav missed on your earlier attack.
Look, Natalia's moving after Valen and Kurt anyway in the initiative order, and you've got control of Valen at least, right? And didn't Cavelcade say you could take charge of Kurt too?

Shiny, we need these ogres blinded ASAP!
And with Miriam, I meant the previous turn.
I'll give Cavelcade some time, he's the main man in this fight. Valen will likely just be delaying or readying an action.
Ah, okay. So readying an action is preparing to go later? Can I delay or ready or whatever it is to attack with my rapier and shortsword in case Kurt doesn't charge, and if he does then use that action to load and shoot the light crossbow?
Also, darn, that means no more actions until the morning.
Totally forgot about cover. Oh well, she still had a good chance of hitting the ogre it was worth the risk. But Question: If you are using someone else (the other ogres in this case) as cover wouldn't they get hit by the attack instead? If I was using a tree or wall for cover I would assume the tree/wall got hit.
EDIT: Also I will be gone most of the day visiting museums. Mithril will cast Mage Armor on herself and then Magic Missile (which can't miss) at the last ogre.
Posted my round. Could be the only time I post this weekend.
Woke up earlier to referee a world football game to find the field closed.
That sucks. See you later and have a good weekend.

You know, Athedia does have a point...
Have fun! I'll be gone for a few hours too, so though I'm going to shoot the crossbow now (since I can't flank this round) if Cavelcade posts and I'm holding up the action, Natalia's going to:
Shoot with the crossbow if going into melee is too risky, but go into melee if she can flank.
When Shiny starts spamming Color Spray (Shiny, please please please do this), Natalia will attack anyone who's blinded and stunned (4 hit dice) for sneak attack damage.

You think you have to tell Shiny to use color spray?
So I just found a) the Darkstalker feat, in place of this two-weapon-defense placeholder feat because I had trouble figuring out what else to take, and b) This sweet ACF feature for swashbuckler; instead of the Dodge bonus, if you fight with two weapons, you get a +2 shield bonus to AC, and this increases by 1 for every 5 levels beyond 5th, so I think it stacks with Daring Outlaw just as well.

Also, aww, the action slowed down.
Ok, remember that you only get this shield bonus to AC on a turn that you attack with both weapons, ie a full attack. During any other turn you will not get this bonus, I think you are better off keeping your two weapon defense feat since it is a straight +1(Possibly +2) shield bonus to AC, and the dodge bonus from your Swashbuckler class and daring outlaw. I'd take a straight +1 dodge bonus over a +2 AC on full attack rounds any day. I just don't see Shield of Blades as that worth it.

Yeah, but I've got to full attack anyway to get the most out of 2 weapon fighting, right? Once I get into melee I'm full attacking nearly every turn, and shield of blades defends against everything, including invisible attackers.

Actually, you are a rogue, if you are every going to get sneak attacks you will be moving around, tumbling, and make one attack. Full attacks are better used when you would provoke too many AoOs to flank, or your Damage output maybe higher with multiple attacks, or once you are in a sneak attack position already, or when a 5'step gets you sneak attack position.
By taking that ACF you are sacrificing a minimum of 2AC to ranged attacks and any round you aren't full attacking. 1 from Two Weapon Defense, and at least on from from the Aswashbuckler dodge bonus.
But, that being said, it's your character and you can do what you'd like.
Well, I can wait until 6th level when I get Daring Outlaw to decide.
And that is the point, isn't it? I mean, once I get invisibility or the spellcasters start throwing around Glitterdust and Color Spray to blind everyone I can just full attack all day.

Knocked the ogre down to zero HP. So close. Whoops, turns out I had put the damage on the wrong ogre; sorry. I put it on Ogre 1, the furthest one back, instead of Ogre 4, the closest one (and the one Natalia hit with her bolt)
So with Natalia's 4 damage from the crossbow bolt and Kurt's 20 from his attack, that ogre's at -1! Two down, three to go, guys!
Even if we haven't dropped any more ogres yet, we're doing a lot of damage. Athedia said she was doing magic missle next, and at level 3 that's two missiles; the minimum amount of damage she can do is 4, so she's guaranteed to drop an ogre to 1...Which is better than nothing!

That is true, but I will give her some time as well as shiny some time before they go.
Color Spray may not be the solution here, It is going to hit Both Ogres and either Valen or Kurt.... No way around it. It can hit only one Ogre and won't risk either of us, but it can only hit one, now way to make it hit two. Had to look up the rules for cones. Well, he can hit Kurt's Ogre, but if he goes for Valens, Valen is likely to get hit.
