Would I be able to put out the fire with Create Water? It can create 8 gallons of water.

You have reached the ground and are 20 feet away from Lydia.
Lydia, you have first action, then the enemy, then other PC's. (Initiative blocks)
Oh, and create water could be used to roll down the tree in a ring. Whether it would put the fire out, you don't know.

What can I see from where I am up above? Is anyone still climbing the tree or is everyone but me on ground level now?

EDIT: How far apart are the trees?
EDIT2: Party, your advice to a newish player, please. Should I aim Hold Person at the mage, who might be more dangerous but also more likely to overcome the spell? Or should I aim at one of the warriors?

Well, there are three significant threats here:
The rogue, who will probably continue disabling people. The mage, who seems to be a blast mage, the weakest sort of mage, but still can disable us quickly, and the two fighters, who will be issues.
So, I would target either the mage, or the rogue. The mage will be more resistant, but more dangerous. The rogue is probably not really a threat until he can hide again, or flanking starts up.

Go for the Mage, I suppose, unless you can take out multiple targets with one spell.

Sadly, no actions for Lydia, at 10 health with 17 nonlethal.

Okay, so I'm concluding everyone else is on the ground already, as you told Mial that Amelia landed and she was the last to descend. Therefore, I will not bother to put out the fire at the moment.

EDIT: Hold Person allows a new save each round, so I'm thinking I might rather keep a swordsman out longer, rather than the mage for hopefully a round or two..

Sorry to double post. Drynwyn, are you waiting on something? Everyone acted except Lydia, and she's still unconscious. It should be the enemies' turns, unless I'm missing something.

I did actually post an action as well, but failed to complete it. A readied action preempted my action. If you want me to make another action, I can make a post about lying on the ground, unconscious, but it would be pretty boring: probably a spoiler with an image of blackness inside it.

Hopefully. Still, for combat, she is down to color spray and grease for applicable spells, although she has several other spells, they aren't really disables, and I would prefer to save the higher level spells if possible.(have glitterdust and web, if needed)

I was thinking more for sneaking, since it was probably Nestor's botched MS that gave us away -- but yeah, that would be a fantastic way to shut down enemy casters without Silent Spell.
Come to think of it, it wouldn't be great for sneaking in natural environments anyway, since it covers a 20-foot radius and someone is going to notice the birds aren't singing.

Heh, after I saw AquilaRift's post, I was thinking about the efficacy of silencing a stone, and then throwing a big handful of stones so they have no idea which one is silenced.
