Star Wars Saga Edition: Knights of the Old Republic Era
The Republic has finally seen peace after the bloodshed of the Mandalorian War, followed by the Jedi Civil War and the battle of Malachor V with the threat of a new Sith Lord. With this peace, the Republic has been able to begin healing it's scars, rebuilding worlds and even the Jedi Order.
With the Jedi Order returning to their old power once again, they have taken up the path to protect the Republic as it's guardians of peace.
One of the systems in desperate need of the Jedi is Bakura, a mid-rim trade post and trade route intersection. During the Republic's weakness, a local Rodian crime lord of Bakura, named Koloru Gizz, has taken over the planet with ease thanks to his personal army.
Hoping for a peaceful ending, the Jedi Order has dispatched a handful of Jedi Knights to Bakura to save her people. En route to Bakura is the Obsidian Star, an everyday transporter frigate following its normal path, but hiding the squad of Jedi as normal patrons.

Re: Star Wars Saga Edition: Knights of the Old Republic Era
Eh, I'm in. Every game I've wanted to play a Padawan has ended up not starting up :( I wanna be a padawan dang it!
Probably going dex based, so going to suck early on I'm sure :P
Human.
Will have sheet done ASAP. Though a lot of people like Jedi so if someone else really wants to play one I'll swap out my character for another idea (Maybe scoundrel?)
Edit: Unknown Region's near humans allowed?
Edit: We using Destiny or Backgrounds or neither?

^Main format, backstory is also all written up, but I'll wait to post it till I know if backgrounds, destinies, and near humans are allowed. Current sheet is assuming human.
Re: Star Wars Saga Edition: Knights of the Old Republic Era
A near human would be fine with me, as long as it was not too out there. As for backgrounds and destinies, you don't need them. I'll be assigning destiny points as the story progresses. A few brief paragraphs for character details would be nice though.

Alright, was just curious. Hmmm...I'll remain a human to not have to alter things. But thanks for approving anyways.
The character's background, appearance, and personality are all on the character sheet. Let me know of any problems with them.
Re: Star Wars Saga Edition: Knights of the Old Republic Era
I would love to play a scoundrel. Maybe a Twi'lek, maybe not. Do you think a mechanic aboard the Obsidian star might fit into the campaign nicely? If not, I think I would lean towards the simple patron idea... Maybe a youth in search of adventure far from home...
Re: Star Wars Saga Edition: Knights of the Old Republic Era
Yeah, a mechanic would be a great idea. It's really not crucial, it's just to help glue the party together and explain why they're all there, and a Twi'lek scoundrel mechanic would be pretty sweet.
Re: Star Wars Saga Edition: Knights of the Old Republic Era
This looks like it could be lots of fun. I'll have to learn the system but definitely posting interest and I'll roll for money just for the heck of it.

Posting interest.

I'm considering something jedi shadow or alternatively a force sensitive non-jedi. Deception and near-dark tendencies interest me. Pretty sure I'd go the force sensitive route at least.

Dak Vasai, bored son of a wealthy Durese family. he could be a patron traveling for pleasure, or maybe passing the time piloting for the company, or even an officer if his family has a stake in Obsidian Star.

Ended up scratching the Twi'lek idea to go for an Arkanian. I just can't decide which idea i like more: Arkanian leaving the homeworld in search of adventure, or Arkanian offshoot fleeing the homeworld to escape the prejudice of the Arkanian purists...
On the one hand, naive and unintentionally arrogant, offending aliens without knowing it, on the other hand, determined and willful, sick of being seen as second-class. Both would be so much fun to play.
Any thoughts? I may just have to flip a coin.
Also, I'm hoping it will be ok for me to use some of the feats and talents designed for mechanics in Starships of the Galaxy? Right now I'm planning on starting out with the tech specialist feat, and the personal modifications talent, if that's acceptable.
