So, um... To get this thread somewhat on track... What you guys think of this?
And by 'think' I mean both as an RPG system that could be, say, used to play a game on this board, and as a concept. A concept with a disclaimer I am not a fan of existential failure angle, but the whole 'something is not right' aura could be great for one-shot adventure like first two episodes of S1 or last 2 episodes of S2.
"Well, the Great and Powerful Trixie can't actually transport you to Equestria... But!
The Great and Powerful Trixie can beat you over the head until you think that's what happened!"
Um, I have routinely open more than two hundred at a time, nothing happens for my FF. It starts look more and more like bad browser issue...
I'm pretty sure "bad browser" isn't quite the right term. "Incompatible", perhaps, but... the last time Chrome crashed was when I tried to load all the archived ponythreads at once, back in the spring sometime. As a matter of fact, that is the only other time it's crashed for me in something like a year of use, whereas when Firefox was my main browser I was lucky to get through a week without a crash.
So. November. Personally, my hope is that a) they continue to do Saturday airings, and b) they don't start on the 10th.

Digo: please put a size warning on that Applebloom pic. Crashed this tab.
Strange, it didn't affect my browser tabs (IE 8). However, I shall be kind and not only place a warning on the spoiler link but locate a smaller, non-animated version that will compatibate with all browers!

So... how does that work? Do I just put that code in front of the image link?

As the Element of Dungeon Mastering, does this count as a TPK (Tabbed Photolink Kill)?

No, you create a bookmark in your browser using the code as the link/url/location. Then you can just click that bookmark at any time and all images on the current page will be rescaled as needed.

Um, with animated gifs? If it was some fancy apng or flash, I'd agree, but incompatible with oldest still used graphic format?

Seeing S3 DVD 01 has première December 4, I bet S3x02 will run December 2, with S3x01 week before

I went to as high as 500 at a time, and the only time I had a crash was when FF ran out of both RAM and swap space

Well, this just further convinces me that computer programmers are actually wizards.

Same for me, it was fine.

Unfortunately, Thanqol kind of beat you to it as far as taking over my life. Telling him you're going to run a Mage game is like picking up a tennis ball in front of a golden retriever puppy.

There really is no other explanation for some of them. Maybe I'm biased, but I think what some people do with computers and math is the most fascinating stuff I've ever tried to understand. It's mind blowing what a small string of bytes in the right place can do. My little bookmark trick is nothing.

since i am without a computer at the moment anyway(must survive the withdrawl symptoms a while longer...) the 2 days of ponythread being down actually were good for me as it saved me from having to review that many more posts today in order to get caught up

Never posted about chapter 7 of II due to the forum downtime, so have chapter 8 instead:
As usual it's probably a little rough, so all feedback is appreciated. I had some doubts about this one, but I hope I got it worked out. Feedback on chapter 7 is also totally welcome, even if it's been there for a few days.

Nice to see Fimfiction's email alerts are back too... With Ponythread and that down, it was getting a bit much...! (EQD is very reliable (for most of the year I just used that until I finally decided I ought to be arsed to make a FiMFic account so I could leave some feedback and also use their alerts), but they don't get everything on there...)

What does a Lich do when his favorite recreation is denied to him?
Finding out that the ennui and cynicism of our times is not, after all, an unavoidable unreverseable fate does kind of throw your world-view off, potentially.
Pretty sure that is Luna.
EDIT: Tracked down the artist's DeviantART account, it's Luna.

Okay, I guess. I don't really see Twilight and Luna as having the same proportions like that, but artist's interpretation I guess.
I think even OG Luna was quite a bit larger than Twilight, much less swanky new Luna, but like you said it is the Author's interpretation.
