What makes g1 different from current g4?
- They have humans, like Megan, Witches and Knights.
- Ponies were average homesteader-like people (AKA not kingdom).
- Sea Ponies
- Gnomes, Elves (rumor) and fluff thingies.
P.S- Which one should be included in Season 3?

You mean in this fandom or in general? In this fandom, not sure, but probable. In general? I haven't read one, but am absolutely certain they exist, just as there exist fandoms of franchises where main characters are robots.

There is no visible Earth influence because the Earth pony race is the baseline. Pegasi and Unicorns are Earth ponies with "features tacked on". Seaponies are a modification of the whole baseline, so there has to be a physical influence.

There is no visible Earth influence because the Earth pony race is the baseline. Pegasi and Unicorns are Earth ponies with "features tacked on". Seaponies are a modification of the whole baseline, so there has to be a physical influence.
Clearly Sea Ponies will have manes full of stars or that billow in the solar wind then.

That was amazing. Big Mac so eloquent, AJ so, so sad.
You know, they could totally do that as an episode idea! AJ starts getting taken for granted because she's so reliable and everypony just assumes she'll do what's needed but forgets to thank her. Then she gets upset and goes and does something crazy and everypony else has to go get her and they all make up at the end, with the lesson being on one side not to take friends for granted, and on the other side not to keep your problems cooped up and let your friends know when you're upset before it explodes into doing something crazy.

It's not Flash animation as such. FiM uses Symbol animation, which is a way of animating in Flash. I haven't done a great deal of Symbol animation, but from what I know about it, they probably have a library of pre-drawn pony parts (most likely imported in from Illustrator) which they convert into Symbols and animate by tweening them from one position to the next. I think the animation process is kind of similar to how they animate in 3D, minus the library part, but I don't know enough about 3D animation to say for sure. I have a friend who's very good with symbols, he probably knows better then I do.
Fascinating but is it relevant? I still infer they can repeat animation same as the models. We know from Lyra and her crazy jumping. Also a couple of times you can see things like Pegasi wings beating in identical rhythms
