Vylons (Fairy themed) have several synchro and even an XYZ monster that prioritize equips; either through Equip Spells or Monsters that can equip.
Armed Samurai - Ben Kei is based around the Monster Card of the same name, which involves equiping the guy will several cards like Mage Power and United We Stand and attack multiple times in one Battle. Best thing is that he is a warrior and level 4, so he can easily be searched out.
Morphtronics (Machine/Thunder themed) can do the equip stuff as well with their synchro ally Power Tool Dragon.

You could also make a Gemini deck as it is known to use Equip Cards like Supervise to and can be decent beaters.

I think I'll try an armed samurai Ben Kei/Gemini deck then, in order to try a new style.

I'm known on DN for zombies. Trying to decide if I want to go that route for this. I have a Zombies XYZ and a Wights deck that are both pretty mean, and wights can be used from game start...

Hmm... Alternatively I'd probably do a burn deck because I've never made one but would like to. Either that or a mill deck, or remove from play. :3

Here is the easiest way for me to do this, and I think it would be the best.
Every character is going to be introduced into the game of Duel Monsters in different ways, but this will be your first time ever playing. Since this is your first deck, you will describe how you got it, either finally saving up enough or even getting it as a gift.

Your deck will be a surprise as to what cards are in it, but you are welcome to modify it. Throughout the game, you will be awarded and able to purchase booster packs. More and more will slowly become available, and what you receive will be random. With this, every player will have their own trunk, and trading will be encouraged, so teamwork will help. :)

As for the more detailed rules, I am still flushing them out. So they will be posted in the OOC once it goes up. For right now though: Choose your deck.

Starter Decks:

• Black
• Red
• Green
• Blue
• White
• Yellow
• Pink

I will have to draw the limit at 7 players, wither you travel with the main group or not, and your position will be secured once you have posted a complete character sheet and claimed a deck. No copies please.

I was thinking of going with 16-18 for my character, but wanted to check first(I could also go older, but I would prefer not to go much younger with his age)

Latin would definitely prove useful for reading and restoring, seeing how it was in use for a very long time across most of Europe. The other language really comes down to personal preference or what you think the museum would most likely have.

I think at the very least you would need to roll here on the forums, but I'm still waiting for official word from the DM on how we are supposed to do stats. My stats are more or less placeholders until I find out.
