Interestingly, this will mean all creatures will know the face of Death, first from Zhiiro, and then from... well from a lot of dead people to come actually...

Future plans! I made them, here's for sharing and see what I can get away with.

<1> I still plan on taking the Many-Faced Trickster ability, just when it comes more... pertinent (ie. really getting to meet the other gods).
<2> Cosmic Decree! Whenever magic gets rolling around, I'd like to bar healing magic (or at least those that heal outright, instantly or quickly, and what not). I want the focus of healing to be in medicine and herbalism and for healing magic to be a subtle force if it exists. Thoughts?
<3> Create Plane (or possibly just a Sanctum). An abstract place where the dying go (but not the dead). Sort of a place between life and death, the Marquis' main realm of operation. Would it take a cosmic decree, though, to make such a place? Thoughts?
<4> Create Legendary Concept. A system of plant and animal "spirits" for use in the healing arts. I don't know if I want these to just be regular souls, because I don't know if anyone else wants to do that instead. I'm happy with not saying that they are spirits, but energy or what not, but if no one minds they can just be the immortal soul. They will be called Oroi in game. I will wait for more developed societies to emerge before integration.
<5> Create Magical Concept. Erego Medicine, which is using the Oroi for effect. It's hard to explain succinctly the way I want this to work. The idea is that Oroi are used for knowledge and inspiration (a fish Oroi can make someone better at swimming, a herb Oroi makes a doctor better). Think of it as possession magic? I'm moving into a direction of almost voodoo mixed with Hinduism here. Issues?

I have no immediate plans to make a race, but maybe a society will come along (or maybe not). I've got a vague future beyond these basic ideas, but I'll see where everyone decides to take it.

I'm planning on making magic within my next couple of posts here (along with a race to utilize it) and I never planned on there being any healing abilities associated with magic anyway. So I see no conflict as far as I'm concerned.

I was planning on taking the One with shadows ability, so that other gods (other than his brothers) couldn't tell Arlom was a god as well as a city.

A couple ways you can go about this.

1) Weave plane + Cosmic Decree
2) Create sanctum on a current plane (so far the 2 suns or the material world) + Cosmic Decree : either way that would mean that people can actually journey there which sounds really cool.
3) Cosmic decree + use a preexisting sanctum/plane (Arlom as the place between life and death? )

Speaking of medicine, I'm going to grab Mad Scientist, and I'm wondering if medicine of various kinds would count as an advanced concept, or only if it has something to do with a technological advancement? Of course, using advanced medicine is a technological advancement, technology can be a rather broad thing.

I was going to make something medical but I don't want to step on anyone's toes if they're going for that (which they likely are remembering the gods) but would anyone mind if I created the concept of surgery? It seems fairly in line with what I'm going for right now.

Well, the Marquis is the god of medicine kinda. I was going more for a shaman-y, faith based healing, so I don't think the idea of surgery would be getting in the way. It might even be interesting to have the world thoroughly divided into those who believe in faith healing and those that believe in science.

Advanced concept is ALL scientific concepts, but pay careful attention to the rules... anything close or even approaching modern technology would be a magical concept and anything that is even the slightest bit beyond our capabilities would be a legendary concept.

Vylcent's light is something along the lines of the "I" part: the drive of Individualilty, free will, doing what ever you want. Not sure if his brotherly love should make it in because that might be stepping on Velharan's part.

Velharam gives off a Superego vibe and Valmyr's apparent violent thematics makes me think of Id. The fact that you went for the Ego helps out the trinity.

I was trying to figure out how the orbits of the Suns work.... and i discovered that science already figured it out!

This one is possible but has never been found in nature

Edit: I like the first one Mystic. Does the current land orbit the one of or all of the suns? How would its orbit work?

That could work. Although, depending how famous he becomes, he might be given a place in the Bok caste. His name would then be Vahess'Bok.

Also, I'm thinking that Ensirex will probably become one of the gods that the Vahnatai revere.


EDIT: I like the first one too, it looks cooler.

Though, I could see the second one, with the pair of two being the Silver and Red suns, and the outer sun being the smaller, Green one.

Real world science would suggest it is in orbit around the star system, i.e. in orbit around all the stars.

That sounds good too. Either way works for me, depends on how you feel about it really.

And that could be cool. Freaky guy that sort of randomly shows up and experiments on them or eats their dead, and inadvertently grants them great knowledge becoming a revered deity
