Resplendent Manse of the Shattered Fourth Wall, 2.5 Edition
Crack open the OOC and enjoy the new thread smell :D
One of my beloved friends is turning 21 tonight, and sunday night is going to be spent working on Shards and frantically finishing up essays. Since I can't make it this weekend, is there any chance we could put together a monday night game?

Yomiko is the Invincible Maiden, unconquered in battle and unbowed by any force. Only her heart, devotedly loving and endlessly compassionate, is not invincible–but foes who mistake this for a weakness will face the wrath of the Avenging Maiden. This Charm grants the Solar an Overdrive pool of ten motes. The Solar gains one offensive mote on any tick where she witnesses an opponent either take an action that threatens harm towards a character, group, or ideal that she has a positive Intimacy towards, or announce their intent to cause this kind of harm. No more than one offensive mote may be gained this way per tick.
When the maiden’s heart fills with unbearable sorrow and anguish, it overflows with righteous wrath. Once the Solar’s Overdrive pool reaches six motes or more in a scene where this Charm has triggered at least once, she enters a state identically to a partially controlled Red Rage of Compassion Limit Break (Exalted, p. 104). While in this state, she gains an additional offensive mote every time her DV refreshes, as long as she can see an enemy that poses a threat to her loved ones. She may pay a point of Willpower to avoid entering this berserker state, but the mental strain of pent-up wrath causes her to gain a point of Limit if she does so.

Name: Zephyr Scales-of-War
Exalt Type and Caste Full Moon Lunar - Tyrant Lizard Spirit Form
Motivation The resurrection of the glory of the First Age - Or at least, what the first age should have been. protecting his mate, and using Lotus as a social experiment in order to better determine how to successfully manipulate political situations given Solar involvement, and how to aid Solars in combating the Realm. Not necessarily in that order.
Background:
Spoiler
A note on formatting: The background below is a third-person narrative, interspersed with more detailed scenes highlighting the important moments in Zephyr's life. I've spoilered the latter for ease of reading, so that you can simply read the base narrative if you so choose, or enjoy the (hopefully) interesting scenes at your leisure.
Born in the vast lands of the south, Zephyr Scales-of-War was the son of a chieftain, the leader of one of the nomadic tribes. The tribe of his father roamed the trade routes, preying on the rich caravans that moved between the trade cities, the life-blood of the south. His father, Zoran Sand-and-Wind, was a cunning desert raider, and defeated in turn every force sent by the outraged merchant princes who resented the nomad's assaults on their goods, and were enraged when he bled them of the wealth that they tore heedless from the earth or culled from the sweat and blood of the oppressed. Zoran taught his son the craft of war, and at the same time taught him of the leading of men. Zephyr's father was, as has been said, a cunning man - he knew that it was not enough to wind battles, to wield the desert as a sword and shield against one's enemies - one must also cultivate the friendship of the people, so that those who sought him out would find the directions they were given to lead them to dry oases, and find their guards with their throats cut. Zoran's success came as much from the relationships he cultivated among the local villages as with his guile, cunning, and skill-at-arms.
But the lords of the the great trading cities were not without guile of their own. Their gold found its way into the hands and hearts of some of Zoran's own warriors, and their subtle threats and quiet bribes found them a number of accomplices among the local villagers as well. As good as Zoran was, treachery eventually found him. A force from Gem came upon he and his warriors by night, and with the exception of a few turncoats, the entire band was slaughtered or enslaved. Though only a youth of twelve summers, Zephyr killed half-a-dozen men himself defending his father's corpse, but at last he was knocked unconscious. Young and strong, he survived his near-death and was taken as a slave to Gem.
Spoiler
The night was silent save for the sigh of the wind. Zephyr son of Zoran did not sleep. He stared up at the sky, at the moon and the stars, thinking about the day's raid - the plunder had been rich, the caravan guards slow and weak. He had blooded his blade, and the look of pride in his father's eyes when Zephyr poured his wine was worth more than all the glittering gems they had looted. He had taken for his share only a single gem - a glittering diamond, roughly cut, with strange silver specks that gleamed in the moonlight. He held it up like a prism, staring at the moon through it... it was beautiful enough to make his heart ache, and he smiled. There was a certain young maiden who had looked at him through kohl-rimmed lashes that evening, and he thought that the bauble would make for her a fine gift... he licked his lips nervously, feeling his mouth go dry at the thought, and he smiled...
A sound. He did not move, but his wandering thoughts halted in an instant, and he pricked up his ears. The soft shift of booted feet on sands... and then, something else. A curse, swiftly stifled. The accent was not of the tribe. A call went up, swiftly cut off by a gurgling shriek, but it was enough. The tribe's warriors were awake, and their blades flashed silver in the moonlight. His father strode from his tent, accompanied by two of his best warriors. Zephyr ran to join him, even as the battle was joined, mercenaries out of Gem struggling against the tribesmen, the element of surprise on their side, but the advantage of terrain working for the roused nomads. Zephyr thought that they would carry the day - until the men at his father's side plunged their blades into his sides, moving with eerie synchonicity as they betrayed their sworn lord. He looked at his son for a single, heart-rending moment before he collapsed to the ground, his blood pouring out of his body to pool in the sand, seeming to stain it black in the moonlight.
Zephyr stood for a moment, before red rage took him over. Tears streaming down his face, he charged forward. He cleaved one man nearly in twain with a single blow, and beheaded the other. He had always been swift, but in his rage he lived up to his name. He flowed easily from one motion to the next, the hours of sword drill his murdered sire had put him through coming to the fore, and when one of the mercenaries that had approached during the struggle disarmed him, he fought on with his fists, moving beyond pain into a red fog of violence. He struck out with hands swift as striking vipers, bursting one man's kidney with a strike to the side, fracturing another's skull with brutal precision. Then, with an explosion of sparks and pain in his skull, the world went from red to black.
Upon his arrival at Gem, his martial prowess, youth, and potential led to him being sold to house Circla and put into the gladiatorial arena. Zephyr stifled his rage and humiliation at his capture, and the seething hatred he felt for the men who had killed his father, and used the opportunity to hone his skills. He learned the ways of unarmed combat from other, more experienced slaves, and when he had surpassed them, he developed his own maneuvers. Where once he had been a slim, swift lad, he now grew a strength to match the speed and grace of his movements, a warrior with all the fury of a howling sandstorm, and just as deadly. He grew into a handsome young man as well, and became exceedingly popular - a dashing figure and a favorite of the crowds. He fed on their adoration, and his pride and self-assurance grew with them. He was the king of the fighting pits, and he knew it.
He never stopped desiring revenge, however, and he never forgot the night his father died, nor the feel of the free wind on his face. After five years in the arena, he raised a revolt in the pits, leading a group of hardened gladiators against the guards, and he and a few others survived to break free from the city, scattering through the tunnels and out into the burning heat of the south. While the others perished one by one, he endured.
But the nobles of Gem were not ones to sit idly by and observe the loss of their profits or the insult of a slave escaping capture. A cadre of hunters, as well as several of his former gladiatorial comrades bribed by the promise of freedom were sent after him, and they chased him through the desert. Zephyr remembered much of what his father had taught him, but he had been long out of the desert, and his pursuers were mounted and well-supplied. Exhausted, dehydrated, and near dead, they cornered him three months later and a hundred miles to the northeast. They planned on taking his head back to Gem on a spike. However, it was at this time that Zephyr experienced his Exaltation. Luna had chosen him to be a warrior-prince, and bestowed upon him a form of surpassing power and majesty - the mantle of a Tyrant Lizard. None of the pursuers lived to return to Gem with the tale of the new-born Anathema.
Spoiler
Zephyr forced himself to drink slowly, even as his throat cried out for water and his stomach cramped at the unfamiliar moisture. For days he had been forced to drink the blood of desert vermin merely to keep his body alive as he made his way from one dry well to the next - the signs had either been false, or else old and misinformed. Either way, he was out his area of knowledge, and his pursuers were close. The dogs on his trail would catch him soon - by tomorrow morning at the latest.
he stood waist-deep in the pool, the heat radiating off of him. He grinned defiantly as the sun sank below the horizon. No matter the pain, no matter the hardships - he was alive! He had led the escape from Gem. His companions had died, and he had been forced to leave them by the way for the jackals to devour. He had not the time even for a proper burial, and for that, he grieved. But he would survive, and he would be damned if the soft, fat dogs of the city would take him down. He was Zephyr sun of Zoran, and he would survive. He would not allow this to happen again. He should have been stronger. He should have been able to protect his followers, to protect his tribe in the first place. He would not fail again.
As the sun finished its descent, he climbed out of the pool, laying his clothing out to dry and wrapping himself in a thin, stolen blanket. He looked up at the moon. It was odd - he should be weak from hunger and thirst and long privation, but as the sun faded and the moon took her place in the sky, he felt strength flow into him, as if a fire had been kindled within his soul.
He saw something - a flicker of moonlight on metal, and instantly he was on his feet. His clothing was wet, but he needed neither weapons nor armor to kill. He was as deadly with feet and fist as most men were with a blade, and more beside. He smiled grimly as he heard the thunder of hooves, and a pack of mercenaries, augmented by gladiator-slaves, rode up fast, slowly circling them.
"Surrender." Said the leader, giving him a cold, cynical smile "And perhaps you will live. You are a valauble slave, and after a suitable punishment, you might be permitted to return to the ring to repay the debt of such mercy."
His only answer was laughter - laughter that became a roar. Zephyr felt good. He felt strong, and he roared his defiance into the night. Something was happening. Something was changing... the mercenaries and slaves of Gem seemed to shrink and draw back, fear writ large on their faces. His roar of laughter became a full-voiced bellow that shook the earth. He lunged forward, seizing one them in his jaws - jaws? And flung him, horse and all, into another rider. He moved forward, graceful and deadly, and filled with terrible, earth-shattering power. The sand was stained red-black as he tore his pursuers apart, an awful madness upon him as he rended with fang and claw. When he woke from the frenzy with a start, he was kneeling in the sand, exhausted. His mouth tasted copper-crimson, his entire body ached, but he was filled with knowledge, and with purpose. The area around him was filled with a lambent glow, and when he looked up, he saw Her
No beauty he had ever seen could compare. Flawless alabaster, dressed in silver and carrying a bow and quiver, she looked down at him, slowly nodding. She touched her hand to his forehead, and he knew - he knew what he was, what he had become. He was a vessel, and he had been crafted to Her will. Now he must be worthy of the gifts that She bestowed. "I will." He swore. "I will be what thou wilt. I am yours, now and for all time." His whispered words were filled with a mixture of awe, fear, and pride. He was something more than mortal now. There was a last flash of silver, and she was gone. His forehead burned where she had left her mark, and power pulsed therein
Zephyr breathed slow. In three days, a traveler would come to show him the way. He would make ready and prepare himself. He had so very much to learn.
After his Exaltation, Zephyr received a vision from Luna which imparted to him knowledge of his nature - at least in the broadest terms. However, the bulk of his training came from a Changing Moon Elder named Tails of Resplendent Shadow. The fox-changer woman found him at the oasis, where Zephyr had waited by the instructions of Luna herself. Though they were of very different styles, with Shadow being a cunning manipulator and a stealthy trickster, and Zephyr being a bold, forthright Exalt with a potent martial bent, she taught him much about the changing nature of Luna, the rules of Lunar society and the history of the Exalts. She took him north and east, past the jungles and into the great eternal forests, where he practiced combat, war, and diplomacy under her instruction, playing out various scenarios in the ruins of fallen cities, mastering the potent Luna-granted charms with which he had been gifted, and preparing him for whatever destiny Luna had in mind for him.
Zephyr received the moonsilver tattoos used by Lunar society to help stabilize the protean, mercurial flesh that was both a blessing and a curse. But there was one part of his initiation that he had not completed - his trial. An opportunity arose, perfectly suited to his talent, when Shadow learned of a caravan moving stolen Lunar artifacts being carried by a Wyld Hunt. Shadow and Zephyr rallied Barbarian tribesmen and beasts of the forest alike, and called down a terrible vengeance upon the Usurpers - Zephyr led the charge, and his wrath was like the coming of an avalanche or the fury of a hurricane. The thieving Terrestrial Exalts and their retainers were destroyed, and Zephyr completed his initiation, gaining some small measure of of favor among other Lunars for so potent a victory. In addition, he claimed for himself an ancient suit of Moonsilver armor, which he bears proudly still as a mark of his noble heritage and a powerful piece of war panalopy.
However, throughout his training, Zephyr had felt a compulsion, a draw, like the call of iron to a lodestone. When he revealed this feeling to Shadow, she recognized it as the bond between a Lunar and his fated companion. As the pair of them approached the city of Lotus, Shadow having picked it out as an excellent place to start training her protege in the arts of social engineering, the pull became stronger, and Zephyr moved to investigate...
Personality:
Spoiler
Zephyr is strong, and he knows it. Confident sometimes to the point of hubris, he revels in displays of martial and social prowess. His time in the gladiatorial only exacerbated this natural condition - he enjoys the adoration of others, and relishes a challenge even more. He often laughs in the midst of battles, and single combat is his especial favorite.
His time amidst civilized society has also given him a somewhat insidious taste for the luxuries of civilization that many of Luna's children would consider a softening influence. He enjoys strong drink, soft silk, and soft flesh, and he makes no secret of this.
As a rule, Zephyr is bold, forthright, and strident. It is not that he is incapable or unwilling to use stealth, subtlety, or guile, it is just that he prefers the most direct method whenever the options are equally valid.
Moderating his brasher tendencies, however, is a strong sense of loyalty. He was particularly awed by his vision of Luna during his exaltation, and is pious in his devotion to her. He is protective of those whom he leads, even if they be only mortals, and never wastes their lives needlessly. To his fellow Exalts, he is a stalwart companion, and his loyalty to his mentor, Tails of Resplendent Shadow, is beyond question, something the cunning Elder, a member of the Winding Path, no doubt finds extremely useful...
also, physical descriptions of his main forms, as well as a list of the forms granted by Heart's Blood.
Physical Description(s)
Spoiler
Human Form: In his natural form, Zephyr is a massive, powerfully built man, with well-defined musculature and a somewhat bulky frame that belies his incredible control and speed. His features are similarly powerful, with a squared nose and rugged, lantern-jawed face. He is strikingly handsome, almost seeming to be a statue of physical excellence cast in living bronze. His moonsilver tattoos contrast with his dusky complexion, lines and spirals of silver that cover his torso, arms, and legs.
He typically dresses in various shades of blue and silver, as a symbol of his devotion to Luna. He prefers expensive silks, but rarely has the means to afford them, outlaw and Anathema that he is. When expecting battle, he wears his Moonsilver armor, an elaborate reinforced breastplate of stunning workmanship.
War Form: His new War Form is more terrifying even than his old. He towers twice the height of even a tall man, and his skin is pure, burnished silver that ripples and flows with every movement - a hide of living metal that turns aside even the deadliest blades. His head resembles a great dragon now more than a Tyrant Lizard, as Zephyr's shape changes to reflect the rebirth of the Silver Dragon of the First Age, and his eyes are keener than keen, able to pierce the very veil between worlds with their unwavering gaze. In battle, he is a truly terrifying sight - a living god on the battlefield, a silver-handed slayer sworn to Luna's service.
Spirit Form: In his spirit form, Zephyr is a towering Tyrant Lizard of exceptional size. If a normal specimen of the breed weren't already fearsome enough, Zephyr's moonsilver tattoos and the gleam of cunning in his eye let the onlooker know that the typical Tyrant's greatest weakness, it's bestial stupidity, is absent from this creature.
Obviously, Zephyr's spirit form lacks the subtlety of man Lunar's alternate shapes. In this form he is an engine of destruction, no less than when he assumes war form. As such, he never takes it casually - when he wears this shape, something is probably going to die.

Far-Flung Petal is capable of producing scores of lesser artifacts in days, while the relics of the First Age have been converted into functional wonders. Each of you can access any Artifact with a rating of 2 or less that you require; the only limitation is time.
First Age Salary ●●●: In addition to your earthly wealth, you receive heavenly pay in the form of ambrosia and quintessence. By decree of the Unconquered Sun himself, all prayers directed towards you manifest as ambrosia within your Celestial Manses, with a tithe taken by the Celestial Incarnae to fund the Bureau of Heaven. In addition to your normal wealth, you have Wealth ●● in Yu-Shan, and Wealth ●●● in Creation. While this is overshadowed by your earthly Wealth, Ivory Eyes is capable of crafting the ambrosia received into wonders.

You have essentially unlimited major contacts throughout the East, as well as minor contacts throughout the Realm and the entire Threshold in all Directions.
First Age Reputation ●●●●●: You are famous throughout Creation and Heaven for your deeds, each one benefiting from 5 dice in situations where your reputation aids you. Yomiko is renowned as priestess and bride of the Unconquered Sun and spokesperson for the Solar Exalted, in addition to being the foremost champion of Creation against the demons of Malfeas. Two fames proceed Zephyr, both as a unifier of nations and an unmatched warlord-general, and he is especially renowned amongst the Silver Pact. Ivory Eyes is the single most famous sorceress, savant, and artificer in all Creation, and the fact that she is the first to wield the Adamant Circle in thousands of years is not ignored by any. And lastly Watcher, though perhaps he would wish to be more understated, is nevertheless renowned as a dark and shadowy hero, a champion of the people and a safeguard against corruption both within and without.
Beyond Legendary Manse: Far-Flung Petal can produce geomantic infrastructure faster than uses can be found for it. In addition to the hearthstones used in powering Lotus's wonders, any of you can access any amount or rank of hearthstones you require.

Shafts of moonlight pierced the forest canopy, huge moths fluttering silently as bats of equally increased magnitude flapped through the darkness, scooping them into their hungry maws. Zephyr stood, staring transfixed at the full moon, hearing Luna's hungry song in his heart - His mouth was dry, and he yearned for the taste of red meat and heady blood, he ached in his very bones for the hunt, for the kill-
he moved, suddenly, feeling his hair stirred by a blade passing just behind is head. A single severed lock fell into a patch of moonlight, a silent reminder of how close it had come to his head. He shook himself, throwing off the hypnotic fascination of Luna in her most potent time. The hungry, pounding pulse of the beast called in his heart still, but he was on guard now, and gleaming eyes scanned the forest slowly. There - movement? Or shifting shadows...
"Too slow, pupil mine... much too slow. You'll get no more warnings from me. Stand around slack-jawed again and I'll dent your skull as a reminder. Obviously there's enough fluff between your ears that you can take a blow or two." came a teasing voice from everywhere and nowhere at once. Sweet like poisoned honey, full of promise and threat in equal measure. He danced out of the light, moving with preternatural grace as he continued to scan the shadows with his eyes, but allowing his other senses to open as well - he was a chosen of Luna, and the predator was in him. He rode it, letting it see what a mere human never could... there, a flitting shape among the branches. He tensed and leapt, power suddenly flaring bright. His movements blurred as he covered an impossible distance in a single bounding movement, more graceful than a hunting cat.
Racing along the branch, he chased a dark shape through the moonlight. Ahead of him, Shadow suddenly leapt from the branch, grabbing hold of it as she fell and swinging herself in a single motion. Suddenly, he felt himself falling as the branch she had weakened with a single faster-than-sight blow gave way. He caught himself on the branch above, his body moving sideways as he pushed himself off the trunk with a single tensed leap that drove his body swifter than an arrow through empty space, landing on the branch that Shadow had just reached. He struck with his fist, a blow that would have pounded mortal bones to dust deflected easily by his mentor's skill. Her movements flowed like water as they traded blow and counter-blow, moving in and out of shadow and moonlight like quicksilver ghosts. His strength was greater, but her skill was sublime. His blows were turned aside by speed and easy, fluid motions, her own rapid strikes deflected off the gleaming armor that he wore, or blocked outright with his own hands, redirecting her blows with his inhuman power.
Suddenly grinning, he struck, not at her, but at the branch below. A kick, easily avoided by her but not missing its true target, struck the wood with a crack as the branch fell. Using the instant of distraction this granted him, he reached out, grabbing her arms and yanking him towards her. Her leg flashed out, and his blocked it as they fell, intertwined through space. He returned a kick, and she, too blocked. Each rained kicks upon the other as they hurtled downward, only to be blocked. With a twisting motion, she flipped him over just as they hit the ground, shielding her body from the impact with his own.
As the two intertwined figures slammed into the ground, Zephyr's head slammed forward, slamming into Shadow's skull with a sharp crack. He threw her onto her back, panting with exertion as he pinned her to the ground.
She broke into a grin, also breathing hard, her eyes half-lidded. "Better." She said in a breathy, hungry voice that made his knees go weak, slowly leaning up towards his face with parted lips, her dark eyes filled with promise. As he leaned closer, she whispered gently in his ear, her breath hot against his skin. "Tsk... but still not good enough."
Sparks exploded in his skull as she returned the favor of a moment ago, and he felt the breath driven out of him as her knee drove up into his stomach. Shadow shook her head slowly, chuckling in her rich, throaty voice. "Luna's grace, Zeph, you really need to stop falling for that sort of thing. If you keep thinking with the wrong head, you're going to lose one or both." She grinned down at him, ruffling his hair affectionately as he staggered to his feet. "Now... go find us some dinner."
Spoiler
The forest was eternal, or so it seemed. Trunks soared upwards towards a canopy that filtered the light of the sun into a dim, effusive green glow that did not so much illuminate as highlight the deeper shadows that lingered eternally in the verdant twilight.
Through this primordial setting came a small and weary band. The fearsome Wyld Hunt - like the Realm it served, this particular incarnation of the dreaded Hunt was showing the strain of these troubled times. In addition to the new-born Anathema they had been sent to put down, they had found a powerful beast-mad creature that had defended with brutal ferocity its kindred-in-darkness. Nearly all of the mortal retainers had died, and four of the dragon-blooded, including the two representatives of the All-Seeing eye and a two lesser children of noble houses had perished along with them.
When the attack came, it came silently. The forest was a place of quiet death, and the barbarians who dwelt among it knew how to move without sound. But the senses of the Exalted were unlike those of mortals, and even the barest whisper was enough to alert them to the presence of their attackers. The chosen of the Dragons leaped into battle with ferocious cries. One wielded a massive hammer that crushed frail bodies left and right, sending them hurtling back into the foliage whence they came. Darting around him with the speed of a serpent, a slim young woman in viridian mail woven like leaves darted, skewering her opponents with a flail. Two monks of the Immaculate Order fought back-to-back, while a fiery sorceress scorched flesh from bone - until a massive figure sprung from the trees with terrible swiftness, and snapped her kneck with one twist of his hands.
This knew figure looked down at the dragon-blooded with cool self-assurance. On his head, a brilliant circle of silver glowed, and before they could recover, a slim figure was among them, paired blades of silver-blue metal working with deadly efficiency. She engaged the towering hammer-wielder and the elegant duelist with a quiet smile on her features, saying nothing. The flame-haired giant, on the other hand, moved towards the Immaculate monks, his body shifting and changing as his true nature became apparent.
His voice deepened, and his face went from that of a handsome man to that of a creature out of nightmare - a blend of man and beast, fanged and clawed and scaled. I am Zephyr Scales-of-War, and you are murderers and usurpers. For the memory of the lost I will defeat you, for the blood on your hands I will end you. In the name of Luna, I am your death become flesh! he roared as he surged towards them. The two moved as one, springing each to one side and attacking from his left and right simultaneously, one brought up a leg in a kick that would have killed a mortal in an instant, the other delivering a blow with her fist that would shatter stone. Zephyr caught both in his open palm, his movements even faster than theirs. Despite his bulk, his grace was truly inhuman - and his fingers clutched their limbs with the strength of iron as he lifted them bodily and brought them together with a sickening crack.
Managing to slip free from his grasp, the two slipped back, dazed and bruised, but still very much alive. They chanlled essence, sending bursts of lightning and gusts of chill wind into his face, but Zephyr took the assault stoically, closing the distance faster than they eye could trace. A nimbus of silver surrounded his hands, his rending talons augmented by the strength of Luna. Switching tactics, he completely ignored one of the monks. Once more he seized on in his vice-like grip, and, as even while her partner rained iron-blows against his back, he plunged one hand through her chest and out the other side, the massive claw emerging with her still-beating heart clenched in his chest. Snarling, he tossed the gruesome trophy away as he turned on her partner. Resolute even in the face of such savagery, he leapt forward, diving under Zephyr's arms to retrieve her body and delivering a kick that sent the massive warrior sprawling. But even as he moved swiftly through the trees, seeking now only to escape, he felt a presence shadowing him. When he turned, he saw nothing, but when his gaze returned in front of him, the monster was already there. And with a single vicious blow, the entire world went black.

Hey guys, I just want to update everyone with my new current work schedule. I now work Mon-Thu from 11 am to 7 pm, and Fri and Sat from 9 am to 2 pm, with an hour or so of drive time before and after each day. Just want to give a heads up before we schedule more sessions.

Lotus, but the Solars are all Devil Tigers and Zephyr is an Exalted Raksha.
TD1 and I were once talking about potential endboss villains for Lotus. I suggested that it had to be alternate-universe Godkings trying to invade and take over our Creation in the name of the Iron Lotus Empire.

Lotus Noir - There are a million stories in the Shining City, and not all of 'em have the polish on...
Lotus Modern - Watcher is a spook in a neverending Cold War, Yomiko is an international celebrity and humanitarian advocate, Zephyr is a mercenary bogged down in the Middle Eastern conflict, and Ivory is a scientist running the top experimental physics lab in the world.
Savage Lotus - The God Kings are the mighty primal avatars of a primitive civilization. With lots of dinosaurs in.
Lotus West - Marshall Zephyr's the latest in a long line of lawmen trying to clean up the town - and not the first to try to win the golden heart of Miss Yomi, the belle of Lotus' infamously good house of ill repute. How will he react to the mysterious Masked Watcher who's been trying to bring down the Malfeas Boys? And what's with that new steam engine Mad Ivory's got set up in the desert?

Re: Resplendent Manse of the Shattered Fourth Wall, 2.5 Edition
Lotus, the Last Airbender: The predations of the deadly Fire Empire threaten to overcome the little town of Lotus, home to a group of Avatars: Water Tribe shaman Ivory, Earth Kingdom bruiser Yomiko, Air Nomad provocateur Watcher, and former Fire Empire gladiator Zephyr.
Lotus Space Opera: The planet Lotus-II orbits a lonely star. Once a great hub of commerce and travel, it's now little more than a backwater hyperspace stop-over. All this changes with the arrival of a band of mercenaries: a shapeshifting xenomorphic prototype, a glamorous former space marine turned free agent, an assassin of peerless skill, and a mighty psion-savant in a spider-shaped spaceship.
Re: Resplendent Manse of the Shattered Fourth Wall, 2.5 Edition
So, you guys got some time?
I was thinking of doing a kind of fun one-off thing for Lotus, and Vance has agreed to take over Ivory for the thing. But it would require you guys to roll yourselves up in DnD 3.5 as...let's say, level 25 Gestalt characters. It doesn't necessarily have to be a perfect 1:1 fit to your Exalted self, either.
I promise this has a point!
I was thinking maybe some time not in this coming week, but after that?

Is Epic Hero allowed? :P
