For some reason, I'm having trouble getting into character for this scene. I don't know what it is. Maybe it'll pass. Actually Koji is creeping Amon out to the extent of cutting into her expressiveness, so maybe I'm like super in character without knowing is.

Hey, ZN, how are things over in.... DUBLIN!? (trying random stabs in the dark - 'Anthony theory- if you randomly guess something there's a small chance you'll happen on the truth and creep everyone out as they draw the conclusion you have psychic powers')

I've lived in Scotland for 20 long years - you have to get a little more offensive at this point than to lump us in with the Irish. Though I'm sure my 10 year old self would be fuming with rage, so good job there

I'd have a comeback but I tendto get really mean spirited when I even pretend to insult someone so doing so may not be such a good idea. Plus I don't know anyhing about you that I could offend you with

I dunno, I just played the odds game. I don't know crap about phones, but everyone these days seems to have some 'smartphone' doo-hickey and it seemed like almost all of them have an iPhone, so I just figured that was the most common one. I figured 'as long as I'm levying insults at the entire species, why the hell not go after their coveted status icons of the day', you know?

Again, I know nothing of phones. These kids these days with their Blackberry 6S and their Angry Chickens and their beat-boxin' hip-hoppin' and their international relations.... *shakes walking stick*

Heh, you know what Cespenar, you're alright. I'll be sure to try and get Kaede back to town in one piece somehow. Hopefully that somehow doesn't involve picking a fight with 4 jounin-level leaf-nin, otherwise we won't be too successful in such an endeavour. Seriously, give our IC a read if you want, our recent endeavours happened to hit a chink in the rails so hard the train exploded.

Just once I'd like to fight something lower level than us - we're not optimised or coordinated enough to be taking on the challenges ZN tosses our way. What's the combat like over in Team Maaya town? I hear you hardly ever fight things.

How long would it take us to reach Sunagakure from Soragakure by walking and by landhopping? I think we should try and arrange an investigation during our next downtime. Hmm... maybe now, bu my quetsion still stands, as I am curious

Also, I was kinda avoiding your IC because of, well, spoilers, but now I'm not so sure. I'd probably overlook/forget any important clues anyway, so I might as well get a good read.

Actually, in recent news, I had Momo try to pull a Mission Impossible-esque move in order to assassinate a yakuza boss, but a chuunin stopped it with a readied action. And then it devolved into conversation.

Also, I realized that Momo's chakra pool is really insufficient. And seeing how I'll pay my next level to bloodline tax, I guess I'm stuck with an awesome pool of 22 chakra for a long, long time.

The Garou scout was CR 5. The Garou ambush was CR 7. It's not my fault you guys made enemies with a group intending to help.

Well, I don't know if anything in your IC would spoil ours - we seem to be on fairly seperate stories, though I suppose major events like an upheaval in the balance of Soragakure might be a bit spoiler-y. If any major events happen because of that, it will likely involve your team since our team is out of town right now.

You're quite the player after my own heart. Amon also has a low chakra pool considering her dependance on her techniques - and she also has a lot of plans that never get to work. She's planned out about 4 big awesome fights that have just not happened.

Every time Amon and the gang go on a mission, by the end of it at least a dozen ordinary folk have died on the torturous whims of some bloodthirsty ninja. Every time it happens Amon dies a little inside, and she can never seem to do anything about it. That's kind of a sad theme of her life - 'the world is full of crazy, powerful ninja and there isn't crap you can do to save anything if you're in the open when they pass by'. I heard something about 'ninja rock group' - is your IC anymore lighthearted?

Sanagi better hope she never loses consciousness in front of Amon if she really did as she claims she did It won't end well for her - the only reason Amon isn't tearing out her throat right now is the sheer difference in power, which, consideirng the source of her greatest insecurity, is only adding to her vengeful anxiety.

Probably not as grim as yours, but not lighthearted, no. In the first part of our mission, in fact, we were almost going to be stumped by a perfectly mundane and unninja-like situation.

On the other hand, Momo possesses the only kills of our campaign as of yet. Burned a group of thugs in front of the girl we were supposed to protect. >_>
