Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
She hesitates a moment, but reaches for Kyne's hand slowly enough that the assassin girl has plenty of time to pull away. Either way, she'll go to lead her up to the beach; it's sunny out, but fairly cool now that autumn is upon them.
Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
Carrie seems pretty happy just to be there with her. So, hon, anything happen lately? I have stuff I could talk about but I don't want to yammer on if you want to say stuff...
Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
Well... this is going to sound odd.
But do you think it's strange for a death goddess and her aides to nurse infants that end up in our realm? I've been having to do that a bit more often lately and it sort of got me wondering.
Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
Oh, no! It's mostly the mother and baby not making it, childbirth being dangerous as it is... I just mean... is doing that odd, or does it seem like a natural death-goddess-ish thing?
Deadtime for a bit more than an hour.

And Andy actually cheers at that! Jumping up and down, bouncing with glee.
...she's totally not scheming to ambush-hug Callie turning a corner at some point.
Nope, nope, nope.

Lellienth holds it for quite a while, though eventually it does have to end, at which point she snuggles up to Erin, smiling happily, apparently perfectly content to simply sit there with her for now, though she certainly doesn't seem like she'd object if Erin wants to do more.

Meanwhile, Andy may, once she's settled down enough, find herself led off by Tiri to somewhere out of earshot of the others, though she won't try to force matters if Andy really wants to stay here right now.

Deadtime for a bit more than an hour.
Kyne thinks for a few seconds. Apart from you, I know one powerful God of Death and a minor goddess of journeys and transitions who guides good Pyrite souls to their afterlife. But Thanatos is incredibly evil, of course, so I don't like to think about what he does with babies. I could ask the goddess, but I don't think she gets too attached to souls.
Bella smiles, but she knows she'll have to keep Andy and Callie from murderfying each other's faces.

Then, presumably, they'll stay like that for a while, which can probably be timeskipped.
---
Tiri, once they reach their destination, frowns at her, seeming mildly exasperated.
"Look. I don't care if you really do like the Callie we just went and got and are just being utterly oblivious, or if you hate her and know that all of your stuff is basically designed to make her angry at you, but whichever it is, try not to mess things up, alright? In the first case, you're just having the opposite effect from what you want, and in the second, dragging other people into personal feuds is not a good thing, and that is going to happen if you keep this up."

Carrie nods, the mention of Thanatos getting her a little nervous already. Er, if it's not too much trouble to ask her that'd be nice...
---
Caledonia decides to ignore Andy being dumb and grins, happy that her sister is being nice for now.
Nirva frowns and follows after, well, both her exes to make sure one stops being dumb.
Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
Foxgirlception!
===
Indeed, Erin will be ready to pick up whenever snuggling ends.
===
Andy pouts at Tiri. It's a very impressive pout.
"...but I just want her back. The way she was. Before...everything," she says, trailing off with a sad sigh.
Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
It can wait.
She smiles, gently squeezing her hand.
---
Caledonia giggles.
WE SHOULD DO A THING!
---
Nirva peers around the corner at Andy, feeling a little bad for her when she hears what she has to say.
Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
Tiri sighs, going to hug her friend.
"Making her angry at you probably won't help, though... And what was she like before, then?"

Kyne smiles and, deciding that the world won't end if she has a relationship with Carrie so therefore it's alright if she shows a little initiative now and then because why should she only be confident when killing somebody, tries to pull the winged Goddess into a kiss.
A thing. That sounds... good. Callie turns her grimace into a smile before she turns to her half-sister. Did you have something in mind?

Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
Carrie eeps a little, but finds herself very happy to kiss back and quite glad that Kyne is showing initiative! She puts up her wings as a feathery privacy screen, though it's unlikely that anyone is watching.
But hey, it keeps the wind off!
---
... Not exactly, since I don't know what kind of stuff you like to do...
She frowns in contemplation.
((I'm a little confused, because it seems like Andy and Bella know Callie P but I thought she was from a totally different timeline entirely... so should Caledonia know her or is there a reason not to? Either way works, just wanna know.))
Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
The Aspect continues kissing for awhile, then pulls back with a satisfied smirk.
Feeling a bit generous, the black foxgirl shrugs. I'm up for whatever you want to do.
((As I understand the timeline, at some point Angela hooked up with a demigod and their daughter instantly grew into the teenaged Callie. She was mostly raised in another city, but spent some time at the future Vulpan Keep, where she met Andy and Bella. If you want, she could have met Caledonia there. Otherwise, the daughter of Angela and Carrie could have just been raised in the future HALO and never saw the daughter of Angela and the other dude or Callie Pyrsol could have heard about her, decided she sounded annoying, and intentionally stayed away. Also, because the Pyrsol girl is quite a bit less Good than the rest of that family, they may not have talked about her very much.))

Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
Carrie blushes, giggling. You're extra hot when you're being assertive!
---
OOH OOH WANNA SPAR THEN?!
((I think the option in which they did meet a limited number of times is best. And, because complicated relationship things make my brain hurt and it's hard to design the Etazer and Ksaida suits when I have hurt of brain, let's just say [assuming Sioda and Angela get hitched in that timeline] that however Angela and Callie's dad got at it, Sioda didn't mind or whatever.))
Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
I'm glad you like it. She runs a hand down her friend's back and nibbles at her lip.
Sure, but I mainly fight with magic.
((I made Callie long before the rest of the future babies showed up, but I have no problem retconning things to fit her in. It kind of makes sense that, right before Angela gave up her powers and got married to Sioda, she had a quick fling with this guy. Whatever works.))

Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
Carrie shivers a little, nestling closer. Though of course I... mm... like you all the time.
---
Works for me! She grins and will go to lead her half-sister to the training room, all perked up and excited.
((So, who was the last lucky person?
Sun god. Niiiice. ))
Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
Kyne holds Carrie tight, giving her a little squeeze. I like you all the time too.
As Callie follows Callie, Bella goes to notify the rest of the girls. Hey, Caledonia and Pyrsol are going to spar. Anyone want to place bets? ... Civiron's paladins are allowed to gamble, right?
((He was really hot, but woke me up too early in the morning soooo... ))

Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
Tiri frowns somewhat, and goes to kiss Andy's forehead, nestling against her as she does.
"I can see why you'd want her back that way, then. But what you're doing won't help. Really. Okay?"
And then Bella shows up.
"I don't know how well they're matched, so count me out of that..."

((Alternatively: Wait, sun god? Ugh, I knew I shouldn't have bet on "water priestess".)) Aw, you're the sweetest. She squeezes back, beaming and not knowing that Callie P and Callie D are going to make a mess of things.
---
Nirva slips a note into Andy's pocket and thinks. Five bucks says Pyrsol comes out on top.
Re: [Nexus] HALO 174: Just when you think you're not in Kansas anymore, turns out you
((If Callie came to future HALO a few times and met Caledonia there, she possibly could have also met Tirya and Nirva.))
Kyne can't help but laugh at that absurd proclamation. No I'm not.
Pyrsol knows a lot of magic, but Caledonia kicks butt in melee. If she can withstand the spells, she'll clobber the other girl. I'll match that five bucks.
