"It is less chaotic here. Inside is overseen by a government, and fighting isn't quite as constant. It's almost peaceful compared to home."

Chris manages to not fall over at this point. Chris smiles up at Sam before he is kissed, a bit surprised at first. However, he somewhat clumsily returns the kiss.

She hopes her tone conveys that she isn't trying to be nosy, rather is just a bit curious.

"My patron is Carrion McCarrow. You may know her counterpart in this Nexus," Nai says. He doesn't react much to Angie asking, and doesn't seem to mind answering.

"Yeah a little bit, though we never became to close. Have you explored the Nexus at all or mainly just been staying at the base?"

[Reinholdt]

Flaming Hawt Human Reinholdt arrives! And he's looking for... Aurea actually. Though he'll seek out Tobias to direct him to her if she's not easily found.

Or run into someone else along the way. Who knows?

"I have been to a few places, but I do not know this Nexus like the back of my hand just yet," Nai says, while glancing at the back of his bandaged hand.

"Well if you are ever bored and looking for something to do give me a call. I have lived here for several chunks of my life."

She pulls out a buisness card to give to him. It simply says Angie: Healer Empath and lists a phone number and address.

"My thanks." Nai takes the card and looks it over. "When you say something to do, what do you mean?"

[McBish]

Angie takes a second to visibly size him up before speaking again.

"I work with a small group of people that are trying to do good things and help people. Sometimes that work includes things I can't do. I want to help protect people, and I figured you might be interested in helping me do that sometime. Or we could just hang out. I could always use another friend." She gives a small shrug.

[Rotting Baron]

Nai doesn't seem to react to being sized up. "I do not make friends easily, but until I can return home, I will assist you if required."

[McBish]

"Not many things worth doing are easy. And nothing is required, but if anything comes up I will keep you in mind. I will see you around Nai, I'm going to try and track down BR."
