It wouldn't be the first time Kyne went tsundere on Chris.

The girl finally bursts into tears. I was stupid and said something cruel that hurt Carrie even though I love her! And now everything is all screwed up! I don't know what to do... Oh gods, I don't know what to do...

That is true. She has thrown books and everything.

Chris suddenly becomes less stoic and more confused again at the rather sudden outburst. "O...kay." He decides that maybe walking over and trying to pat her on the back might help. Maybe even get her a tissue or something to dry her eyes or blow her nose or something.

Kyne puts away the spear and dries her eyes and composes herself. Chris, is there anyway I can do to fix this? To make Carrie not hate me forever?

Chris rubs her back to try and calm her down some more. "Well...it might be hard, and it might take a while, but a way to do that is to just simply go back to the basics. Go back, tell her you're sorry, you didn't know any better at the time. Talk to her, just be friends and hang out with her, that sort of thing. Like I said, it might be slow and a little rough, but I think it could work out."

"Or, knowing this place, it might be quicker than I'm thinking. I don't really know. This place is confusing sometimes."

What if she tries to kill me on sight? I don't think that's a problem, Kyne. Carrie's not wise enough to realize that she should institute a policy of murdering every attractive girl she sees from now on, in order to avoid drama.

Out comes The Box. We've all seen it somewhere and it always looks a little different on the surface, but we always know what it is.
Inside The Box, appropriately, is The Ring. The Ring has always existed, even if it's not technically a ring---it's sometimes been a necklace, or a sword, or something brought about by will and determination.
In this case it is indeed a ring, gold with an orange topaz set in it.

"...That's...not at all the kind of person Carrie is. I don't think there's a single person to Carrie that's on a "kill on sight" list." Chris contemplates even bringing up the stalker goddess as an example, but decides not to since it might be badly received.

Sioda's relative lack of mass very likely leads to the two of them being very cozy and sweet on the cozy, sweet floor with a cozy, sweet toppled chair across Angela's ankles.
She sniffles, smiling, and gets into a fit of the giggles that force the tears to flow from her eye, hugging her fiancee tightly.
And wondering what they'll be doing with last names anyway.
((Since I don't plan to move outside the Kuiper Belt any time soon, I doubt anything I'm doing is a Quinsar thing.

Angela releases Sioda long enough to get the ring on her finger and admire it for a second before she goes back to hugging her fiercely. Angela would have no problem using Sioda's surname, whatever that may be. But if Sioda wants to lay claim to being royalty, she can call herself a Vulpan and dare Tobias to object.

Chris then leads her to wherever Carrie would be. Just before actually encountering Carrie however, Chris stops for a moment and turns to Kyne. "So, how do you want to do this?"
