The milktank cries in pain as electricity courses through its body. It struggles away from the battle as fast as it can, but shirks backwards when the giant wall of sand blocks its escape.
The tauros dodges the spray of sand that shoots at it, and charges the offending pokemon while roaring angrily.

Krayt fell after the powerful blow from the Tauros. With him the arena. "Alright return Krayt and come on out Charybdis and use Scald. Drake returns Krayt and sends out Charybdis at J20

The two pokemon spin happily in the air and plant themselves firmly in Amber's hair. They chirp happily and begin to clean themselves.
Ken then properly relaxed. "Hey - they seem pretty comfortable around you. I guess they really were just hungry?"
"Aron!"
Ken exhaled. "Ah, I said 'hungry'. Are you ever not hungry?"
"Araron!"
"Here, buddy. Man, I spoil you." Another small metallic pellet, which the aron munched on happily. "If you get as big as mom's, I'm gonna be in trouble."

Beginnings usually happen over trifles... even if it's a coincidence...
Amber smiles looking down at the pokemon surprised and distracted with the initial mission. "Hey guys, you wanna come with me?" She asked looking around for more berries to feed them. "I can feed you berries and we can find berries from all over the world."

Amber spots several berries that she missed in her earlier search. You find one Leppa berry (#6) and three Rabuta berries (#29). The two ledyba's stare at you wide eyed in admiration and start cheeping excitedly.
Drake & Leon
The milktank disappears into Leon's pokeball in much the same way the Tauros was captured.
The last Tauros charged Charybdis with its horns lowered. The horsea dodged the blow excellently, and shot boiling water at the bull. It connected solidly and sent it crashing to the ground.

Level 5 Lonely Milktank, Last Chance

"I don't fully know what you are saying but ummm," She holds out the three Rabuta berries, "If you want to come with me after you are eating then move over to these pokeballs." She says tossing two pokeballs at the ground about five feet away. "If you like these berries think of the many types that grow all over the world! If not, don't worry, you can still have the berries."
Leon will gleefully take his two cows and see if his teammate needed any help.
"Thanks for coming along when you did. Not sure I'd have made it if you hadn't. Things were-" Leon is interrupted by a cough. The bright red blood that came up with the cough is best ignored, right?
"I was worried that you were going to get yourself killed and I was right. You need to take it slow you took heavy damage. Also for your safety please try not to run off again. Thanks Charybdis return. Drake returns Charybdis and offers a hand to Leon. "Come I'll help you walk to the cave they are probably waiting for us after this detour.
The two bugs gobble up the berries and turn to you. They chirp for a second and press the button on the pokeballs. After a short dinging noise, they stop moving.
After five more minutes of waiting, you spot Leon and Drake approaching. They're walking slowly, and Leon appears to be badly injured.

Leon & Drake
Your progress down the road is hampered by Leon's bad shape, and it takes you much longer than it should to go down the road. Thankfully no predators were present to go after your weakened party.
After about an hour of walking you come over a rise in the road. Ken and Amber stand together, clothes slightly tattered but otherwise in perfect condition.

"Well, looks like we're back together. Shall we keep going?" Leon does his best to keep the limp he's been developing the last 10 minutes out of his step as he rejoins the others.
Amber grins and picks up the two pokeballs, "OH! Two new friends!" She says excited. "This is awesome!" She calls out with a big grin, however her excitement is interrupted when she sees the other group catch up. She blinks as she looks at Leon. A part of her wanted to say she told him so, but considering the severity of the injuries, it wasn't the time for that.
"We need to get you some medical attention." She says blinking, "There should be a village up ahead if we hurry and avoid any fights we should be good."
"Funny you should mention friends. I have two new cow-friends of my own. But yeah, I think that's enough adventure for one day's-" He must be feeling better, right? The hacking cough that interrupted his sentence had a little less blood than the older ones, maybe?
"Difference is one of us has holes in his body..." Amber says softly as she looks at the wounds. They needed to be treated quickly. "Look, let's at least try and close the wound and wrap it up..." She mumbled. "I don't have much to wrap an injury other than my Beedrill's threads. Anyone have clothing or something they can spare to rip up?" She asked looking around, "I can patch him up a little, I'm no medic, but I've had to deal with wounds while breeding...just nothing this serious."
Gurren is able to stop the bleeding on Leon's wounds, but it's a rough job. Progress is slow, and you reach the village late in night. It truly is a small settlement: Fifty houses, no mart, no center.
Ethereal chirping noises fill the air as a small wooden wall surrounds the village edge. A closed gate greets you, though a lamp gleams at the top of a lightpost.

A head quickly appear above the wall. Would ya pipe down? I'm not goin nowhere; no need to shout. You'll wake up the whole arceus blessed town if ya carry on like that. Whaddya want? If it's a bed to sleep in you should've got here hours earlier the gates are closed for the night.
He grabs the lamp and tries to illuminate the party, but the light doesn't do much for the shadows obscuring the lot of you.

"We had an idiot get injured. He's in bad shape. Please if you can't help us or give us somewhere to sleep at least a first aid kit or some medical treatment to help him. We can pay."
Ken had called out, "Leon!" The moment he saw him.
He then spent most of the trip being worried for him. Dangit, he knew if they split up, someone would get hurt without him being there to be that 'someone'. He was relatively quiet, wondering what else he could've done. And being exhausted from defending democracy.
He was thus silent, a bit introspective. Every so often, Viktor would nudge him, and just as every so often Viktor would get something metallic to munch on. Viktor thus got a heck of a lot of extra food that day, but he knew not to push it too much or Ken would notice.
He then looked up at the gate guard. "...why do the gates shut?" He said, but it was mostly to himself as it was said a bit quietly. After all, everyone else had already asked what he planned on asking.

The gates closed so no nasties can get in at night. They come from the tunnels and withou the wall we'd not last the day. Wait 'ere I'll get Medina.
The man disapears from view, and after about five minutes the doors open and a little old lady comes out. Two pokemon that Drake recognizes as Lampert from the bookstore flank her sides. Despite her small stature, you have no doubt that she carries her weight in a scramble. She immediately zones in on Leon whom she appraises with raised eyebrows.
Bouffolaunt or Tauros? My eyes are getting so bad I can't tell the differences in wounds anymore. Come with me, and keep you pokemon in their balls. Marik close the gates.
She leads you into the small village and to what seems to be the town center. She leaves you in the main room and walks off into the distance. Wait here, I'll be back in a minute.
