Harnel is pretty good at holding his liquor, so he's looking fairly normal, but anybody fairly near him will be able to smell the scent of burnt alcohol coming from him.
"So, what direction do we go in first?"

"Seems weird, yeah," Harnel stats simply. It seemed unlikely everybody was getting ready for work in the morning, "Let's go north then," Harnel points out a street and begins to walk towards it.

I won't pretend to have the least clue how he arrived here, but a certain Wizard has apparently stumbled upon one of the entrances to the Cave of Being that have appeared around the city with the latest tremor.
Once again, I'm not sure what the Cave of Being actually looks like, but I assume it to be somewhat dark and likely encrusted by no small amount of lichen, being beneath a sewer system and all.
And so the Wizard stumbles along, struggling to keep his balance on the slick stones. A tiny teardrop of green flame dances in the palm of his hand and lights the way, throwing out more than ample illumination despite it's lack of fuel. It's quite fascinating to him that something like this can even exist under a city. Surely Inside would have collapsed by now, especially if tremors like the recent one are frequent here.

Until someone falls from a nearbye rooftop, hitting the ground. It appears to be a silvery man, wearing a silvery cross between a lab coat and a flight suit. He's awake, but doesn't get up immediately.
Cave of Being
The narrator would be correct! The cave is encrusted in moss(among other things) and along the wall are tiny mushrooms ever so often that give off the faintest of light. Not enough to see your way by, but enough to notice them.
As the wizard goes deeper, he may hear the scream of rage from the creature again, the anger in the voice quite noticeable, and he may feel a wave of heat roll over him briefly at the same time.
The scream has no words, only pain, frustration, and anger.
Another rumble will go through Inside as it tries to pull free again. One would think that the surrounding rock would be broken by now, but if the cave collapsed, them it wouldn't have been much of a trap then.
Mister Wizard may notice some tablets in a niche in the wall. Information, yay!
Somebody else has found their way down here, too. She's a rather elderly lady with white hair, wearing a dress with a rather floral pattern and a pink hand-knitted cardigan over the top. On one arm is a small red handbag and in her hands is a heavy metal ball studded with steel spikes attached via several chain links to a wooden haft.

Always willing to run a dungeon for those who need somewhere to explore. Just PM me, and decide the character and location and I'll see what I can rummage up.

Ah, that's.... Worrying. Pure fury coupled with the sort of power required to shake the earth's foundations tends to be a rather unstable mixture. But the Wizard would never have entered this place if his curiosity did not, indeed, outweigh whatever small measure of common sense he was gifted with, and so the rolling heat and tremorous roars do not deter him so much as lure him on, eager to see just what could do such things.
But before he can answer that question, it seems another scholar has left knowledge for him to find. Important knowledge no doubt, perhaps pertaining to the source of the earthquakes, for what other sort would be left in this place? Removing the tablets from their niche, the Wizard takes a seat, adjusting the flame so that he can read whatever's written upon them.
((Not sure how the caves are laid out, so I'm not sure if the Wizard would be anywhere near wherever Ms. Bloodplunder is.))

Cave of Being
The wizard may notice that the tablets are in a strange language, one he may have never seen before, yet...strangely enough he should be able to understand them completely!
Tablet I: "The exploration of the cave has been completed. It's now slowly being modified to accommodate the monstrosity that shall be trapped within for all eternity. God help us trap this demon in man's form!" ~David Strong, 1134
Tablet II: "We've discovered that the cave is different from the rest of the land above ground. It seems to be able to...provide everything we need. Why, the other day we were running low on food when suddenly a cargo of salted fish and preserved vegetables were found. While it's entirely true that we may have lost the cargo to begin with...we never packed fish." (rest is too damaged to read)
Tablet III: (Seems to be a ritual of sealing)
The rest of the tablets seem too damaged to understand.
Ms. Bloodplunder could very well notice the Wizard's flame in the darkness. The various passageways empty into the same, huge cave that proceeds down a single tunnel to the deepest cavern.
She might also notice the bodies of scientists, long gone(so far so that they are only bones and dust now) . There's only a few, but that's still enough to indicate something.
There's another rage scream from the deepest part of the cave as well as another wave of heat and a rumble in the earth.
The guy gets up, looks at them, and says something that neither of them understand due to the fact that it's in some kind of weird moon language. He seems happy to see them, and unhurt.

Mrs. Bloodplunder walks slowly and calmly towards the wizard, her flail held ready. "Do you have anything interesting? And do you have anything to do with the rumbles and heat and rage?" Maybe she should have asked the second question first.

The silvery female is helped up, and nods and responds to Harnel. She thanks him, and introduces herself and her friend... not that he can tell. Her language is completely bizarre and impossible to understand... unless one of them has translation magic, I guess.
The male pulls out an odd device and waves it at Wenomir. It's a high-quality anatomy and physiology scan, capable of even noting individual cells.
Wenomir is a perfectly regular specimen of Homo Sapiens. He's very healthy and quite physically robust, however. At this moment, of course, he's also under the influence of alcohol.
"Uh... I have no idea what's going on here, and I'm pretty sure you don't either, Harnel. But since you're seeing it too, I'm guessing it's not the drink. I haven't had that much anyway."
