The Lady and Krystal
The Lady nods in response as she tries to bury her head in Krystal's shoulder as she continues to cry.
This may go on for a while, as she does need a good cry. Her entire race is near extinct now, she kinda needs this
Eventually, she'll calm down and let go of Krystal.
"I think...I think I'll be okay for now."
Oh, crap! Gelley hadn't realized the vault was keeping their ghost in too. Or that it would open when Mr. Manager scanned his hand. This is not gonna look good for her HALO record.
"Not today you SOB!" Gelley shouts, busting out've the manager's booth and shooting after the ghost at quite frankly ridiculous speeds. Not that it'll matter, unless Matt's player suddenly decides to drag the angel out've deadtime. I think he's the only one who had a chance of hurting this badguy to begin with.

Vriveka shows not an ounce of this internal reaction. "Okay, okay, I'll look into it after my nap. But don't expect anything too fast, and don't follow me around because that's creepy. In the mean time you need to get a job and new clothes and a shower and all those human things. Night."
Random Park
"Pffh, I can afford to be without all that stuff, I'm not going to adopt to your silly things." Libra insists before taking a look at herself. "Hm, I might need clothes though, do you know where I can get any?" Apparently she still believes in decency for some reason.
Krystal is silently thankful for her jacket. Otherwise she'd have a tear-soaked shoulder.
She gives the Lady another pat on her shoulder.
Okay. Let me know if you need to do that again, though.
Krystal and the Lady
The Lady nods.
"Thanks, I...I probably will need to."
She took a deep breath in and then out.
"So...um...can we go do something fun?"
Vriveka rolls over and goes to sleep, as expected. With a bit of luck, Libra's discovery of things like hunger and money will keep her distracted long enough for Vriveka to get more of this story.
Whatever. Fine! :smallmad. It's not like it wants their attention or anything. "Mrow."

It curls over the hand vent and seems to go to sleep.
Justin looks down at his jumpsuit. That's probably going to need a laundromat, and he probably needs to wash up. He hasn't told the Applehils yet, but he has a date further in the timeline today. "Yeah." Brand's right on this one.
No bathtub, though. Brand's gonna have to do the rag thing.
Shall we timeskip to the end of today's session? A clean kitchen and partially clean bathroom are a good start!

That is how they first meet actually, when he slipped during one of his runs and crashed into an alley near her.
"Ugh. Running. I hate that." Charity says. She is a little flabby in places, as proof that beer is her friend and exercise is not.
Yeah Calvin has the advantage of magical strength and endurance that lets him enjoy running. Even if he didn't work out as much as he does he would still probably be in good shape.
"So what do you do when you aren't studying or drawing?"
Time skip to after the kids are cleaned up and ready to take home. "I like your pet kitty," Lily says to Justin. "I wish it wouldn't tell-a-pult when I try to pet it."
Tito is yawning and leaning on his dad. Tired from all the work. And the play.
At least several lanes have been cleared of dust from having the kids playing on them.

"Family time. I've got a sister and brother in law, their baby boy, my boyfriend, our father-in-law. Oh, and the sister's dog." Charity says.
"That sounds nice. What kind of dog does your sister have?"
Calvin's voice has just a tinge of envy in it. He isn't entirely sure what family time consists of, but he doubts it is like the time he spends with his uncle. His mind briefly wanders back to a time when he had a more normal family as he tries to remember if he has ever had a dog. He can't remember one, but his memories of his early age are all sorts of fuzzy, and he doesn't like trying to remember them too much.

"Kitty? Oh right, him," Justin says, "He's not so much a pet as a meowing fixture, I don't feed him, so he certainly isn't mine. I figure he's some escaped cat who started living here."
It's been living here years before you ever did, blue thing. "Meow!"
"What's tell-a-pult mean?"

The Wizard falls into step behind Nephea as she begins her comically overplayed march, shiny new shoes squeaking against the cobblestone road in a manner befitting a clown trailing after the parade master.
Ah, I'm... unsure. And it's a good question. Biting his lip the Wizard tries to think back, remember if there was a point where his nausea spiked or some other symptom that could be traced to this strange journey showed itself. I... No? I think not? The only time I've 'travelled' was aboard a galley and already seasick, so I cannot be sure. But I think not.
By the sounds of it though, a more definitive answer one way or the other isn't far on the horizon.
[A Few Steps Down The Road]
"You don't? That's good." Nephea said. "I'm a bit envious, though. Teleportation always makes me feel nauseous. I'd hate to think what would happen if I was tagging along with someone who was making rapid jumps or something... Well, aside from probably painting the ground in some gross colors after it was over, I guess. I mean, I hear that if it isn't done right, you can leave some parts of you behind. Do you know if that's true? I'd hate to accidentally leave a kidney somewhere. I mean, sure, there's healing magic and some really strong potions that can fix that kind of thing but I bet that would feel like the mother of all kidney punches there."
If allowed, the catamander would likely engage in similar babble for most of the trip to this designated willow tree. She had yet to mention any reason why it was special, though, so that might be one of several questions that could be used to stem the flow of banter.
The doors of this building are wide open again. The robot patrolling the place have lined up so everyone going in is lead to the main building, which is similar to a normal church. The only difference is that the building is made of iron and other metal instead of stone.
A dozen people stand at the front gate to welcome every visitor of the mass.
[Deus Mechanicus Church]
Mia comes back from her trip.
"How many people came today?"
As she looks at the acolyts she soon finds the answer of this question. None!
She shakes her head as she goes for one of the side buildings.
"Please wait a bit longer. maybe someone is coming soon."

A man in dark red robes arrives at the church. Hanging from his neck is an amulet. It appears to be a triangle within a triangle. There is a hood to his outfit, but it is currently down, revealing what appears to be a human with blonde hair and blue eyes. At his side on his belt is a large mace and a book.
He knocks at the front door.

Roberts nods. "So it is something very much uncommon in Inside. So the first thing to do is to take a blood sample and get to work analysing it. Perhaps within the body's precious red liquid we can determine what went into making it..." Roberts frowns and idly pokes at a piece of equipment, "But as I said, this equipment is simply not good enough! What manner of hoops will I have to jump through to be allowed to replace it all?"

"A pug." Charity says. She takes out her phone and shows a picture of a pug and a laughing baby. "This is my nephew Luke, and their dog Archer."

Bauer shrugs. "Can you purchase it and get it in here without drawing attention?"
"Without drawing attention? No. That I cannot do. Getting everything in here is not something that can be done quickly or quietly, sadly. I doubt passers-by would cause any problems, but if you trying to avoid attracting the attention of eyes on the inside, I doubt we can manage that."

Calvin leans over to take a look. "Cute picture. So which one is your nephew?" He always thought that both pugs and babies just sort of look like old men. He never really thought of them as cute, though he gets that most people think of them as cute.

Mr HT thinks pugs are ugly. It is a testimony to the depths of my love that I married him anyway.
