I was thinking Vong shaper, and fluffed as somone who Igniv stepped in to offer a job based on his skill/need to get off planet quickly. That or a sidekick/studentish character.
Hm... What ship to go with...
EDIT: How's a prototype Ghtroc 720 sound for a ship? DM's choice of benefits/drawback.

Heya guys. I'm playing the Mrlssi slicer/mechanic/starship designer. Secondary social abilities too, but far from being a dedicated face character.
Tech specialist feat is in effect, with superior weapons and armor tech just recently gained (we advanced a level at the end of chapter 2). If we get any free time, my character will most likely be able to upgrade your armor/weapons free or at cost (assuming you don't get on his bad side).
After the first mission, the group acquired a modified shuttle with a lot of seats and cargo space, which was completely overhauled and modified in the downtime between missions 1 and 2. At the end of the second mission, we've just been assigned command of an ardent-class frigate. I'm sure another ship would fit in the hangar of the frigate, but Felhammer, you might want to consider giving the prototype some unique advantages so it's not completely overshadowed by the Dawn.

Limited access. Posts only in mornings and evenings.
I decided to make another character out of boredom, and ended up with something pretty awesome.
Dr. Sharka, Felucian shaman, wanderer, adept, medic, and Imperial Missionary.
I gave him a wide variety of force powers, but stayed away from alot of offensive powers, as they dont really suit him. Force immersion lets him stealth, and bring along someone else. Fully telepathic. Able to give first aid and do surgery as needed, and use Vital transfer when thats not enough. He can get along socially, but he's not going to overshadow any face types.
In short, a good support character that can bring alot to the group, both in combat and out.
I'll expand his backstory and do up contacts/enemies soon.

In the threats of the galaxy there is a martial arts talent tree that is mentioned to be for the Elite Trooper... However it would seem more in line with the martial artist? Would you allow this? I can live with a no and I will be making my character as an elite soldier to make it for the deadline but if I make the cut... well we can take it from there.

The Martial Arts Master gets access to the "Master of Teras Kasi" Talent Tree from Threats of the Galaxy. Look under "Talents" in the Martial Arts Master write-up.

I hope Dr. Sharka gets in. Sounds like a pretty fun group.

Expect me to start using them more, now that we have our own command. Also, noticed one of our applicants is sporting some hardware in place of his biology AND he's a drinker. Peas in a pod we'll be.
