If Dani's hands wander in her direction, she'll stiffen for a moment, as that brings up some rather unpleasant memories, then slowly start to relax.

Dani notices the stiffness, and pauses, just letting her hand stay gently in place until Kari relaxes.

...Carrie gets a little more wandering.

...There's only one hand wandering on each of them, right? Or has Dani decided to take over the role of "Girl-with-too-many-arms"?))

Dani might find the water trying to grab the wrist of the hand wandering over Carrie.

Karyana, meanwhile, will take a few minutes to relax, though she doesn't seem to mind Dani's hand staying where it is, nor will that one be grabbed for by the water.

Dani eeps, and blushes as the hand is grabbed.
"Sorry. I didn't think...I can stop..."
She leaves the hands in place, clearly ready to remove them.

((Alas, this Dani is the one more likely to like such changes.

When she apologizes and pauses, the hand dissolves back into normal water.

Karyana nods, smiling weakly at her.

"It's just that it brought up some bad memories... I don't mind it from you, it's just a reflex."

"Alright." Dani nods, clearly understanding, but doesn't resume her hand motions.

She does leave her hands in place, though. In...interesting...positions.

"If you ever want to....I dunno, talk or anything. I'm here. But if not that's cool too!"

Karyana relaxes as well, resting her head on Dani's shoulder, and nodding.

"Maybe at some point, then... For now I think I just want to forget the past year or so."

"That's alright," Dani says, somehow managing to avoid appending an exclamation point, and kisses Karyana's cheek, then Carrie's.

Karyana is fine with all of that, and, in fact, reaches up after a moment to hold Dani's hand where it is, possibly trying to reaccustom herself to this kind of contact.

Karyana still seems a bit tense at first, but as Dani continues, she relaxes, and snuggles more tightly against her new friends.

"Thanks for coming after me, Carrie... I'm glad I didn't end up missing all of this."

"Okay... I just wanted to make sure you knew, and that I told you my name is actually Karyana, not Aernis," Karyana replies, hands starting to wander very slightly as well, though on seeing that Carrie has dozed off, she pauses, smiling. "We should probably get her dried off and into a bed, huh?"
