Karyana smiles and hugs back, also blushing quite a bit, though she seems perfectly happy.

Ah. Right.
...in that case, Dani just slips on an apron and nothing else...
Clearly she's a very unconventional abbess.

It's not long before the smell of bacon is detected.

[Beans]

Carrie actually puts some clothes on and follows the heavenly smell.

[C'nor]

Karyana will put some clothes on as well if Carrie seems to feel that she should, and, in either case, follows the winged girl, quite possibly slipping an arm around her on the way.

Dani has her back to them as they reach the kitchen, humming to herself as she cooks.

Carrie watches her, staring a little bit from behind.

[C'nor]

Karyana stares a bit as well, quietly waiting, as she doesn't want to distract Dani when she's working with hot things, especially since that would likely delay the bacon.

It's not a bad view at all.
...Dani turns, giggles, and waves at her new friends.
"Breakfast is almost ready!"

Which may or may not be actual breakfast, since it almost seems as if they skipped lunch and dinner yesterday in favor of pool time.

Carrie is ravenous, and will happily dig in!

[C'nor]

They either did that, this is actually another meal which happens to be occurring after a sleep period, or they slept for quite a long time (which, actually, really isn't that unreasonable for Karyana, at least), yes.

Whatever happened, though, she joins Carrie in digging in, sitting as close to her as she can manage.

Dani sits on the other side of Carrie, close (but not TOO close), still in only her apron, and chows down with a grin!

Carrie puts a wing around her as she eats hungrily!

[C'nor]

Karyana smiles, assuming she got a wing around her as well, and seems perfectly content to simply eat with her friends for the moment, since this is only the third good meal she's had in a year or so; otherwise, she frowns a bit, seeming somewhat unhappy that she seems to be less in favor with Carrie than Dani is, though she'll simply continue to eat, albeit more slowly, in that case as well.

Dani wraps an arm around Carrie. And tries to stretch to hug Karyana too.
"I'm SO glad both of you are here..."

[Beans]

Carrie rubs Karyana's back, and smiles as the tiny abbess goes to hug the scarred girl.

[C'nor]

Karyana smiles, and hugs both of them, nodding.

"I'm glad we are too. And especially that it's both of us at once, even if just being here is more than I was expecting to get two days ago..."

[The Bushranger]

"I'm just glad I was able to help," Dani says earnestly, before hopping up to clean the table and do the dishes.

[Beans]

Glad to be here with you both.
Carrie hugs them close.

[C'nor]

Karyana smiles, snuggling against the winged girl, and going to kiss her cheek.

"Speaking of which, thank you for being here for me... Just knowing you're there has helped me sleep quite a bit."

Dani smiles brightly, then stands.
"I need to go do the morning rituals. I'll be right back!"
...and she does go to slip into her abbess garb, yes.

[Beans]

Carrie giggles and watches Abbess Tinypants go, rubbing Karyana's back.

[C'nor]

Karyana smiles happily, apparently enjoying the backrub, and goes to climb into Carrie's lap after a bit.

And that nickname works on at least two different levels too.

Dani is away for a little while, doing abbess-y things.

[Beans]

Carrie blushes a little, cuddling Karyana and once again making a mental list of those scars they've got to get fixed.

Would those be the burns over most of her arms, the deep tears in her back/shoulders from being hung on hooks, or the knife marks on her face? Not that she doesn't have plenty more, of course, but those are the major ones.

In any case, Karyana happily returns the cuddling, blushing somewhat as well, and goes to kiss her.

Dani could walk in right then and spoil the moment/join in, but her player is heading off for a bit very shortly, so she doesn't.

[Beans]

All of them!
She kisses back, blushing heavily.

[C'nor]

She holds the kiss for a quite a while, should Carrie let her, and starts to gently rub her wings at some point during it, hoping to get her to relax.

"Do you want to move somewhere with a little more room? I mean, this is nice, but the chair's not really designed for two, so it can't be all that comfortable for you, especially with the wings..."

[Beans]

She blushes and nods slowly, getting a little shaky.

[C'nor]

Karyana smiles reassuringly at her, gently kissing her forehead, and goes to slip out of her lap, presumably so that they can head to whatever more spacious place Carrie has in mind.
