Finding Players (Recruitment)Look for players for chatroom, play-by-post, or even real-life games here. Threads will expire after 3 months, so be sure to move important information to your OOC thread.
So, myself and my buddy had an idea for an evil Pathfinder campaign. His original idea involved him working as a mortal companion to a vampire, but for the interest of making a proper campaign, we'd like to find a DM who could make a game with the following stipulations.
Pathfinder only
All players can have the equivalent of a CR+2? template for essentially free. Up to the DM to decide the exact limits, because i know some are stronger than others.
Midlevel, something like 7th level or higher.
And of course, we'd like all the players to have a mutual quest that'll keep us together, and not have us murdering each other within the first two in-game days

1. What game system are you running (D&D, Call of Cthulu, Palladium, GURPS, etc.), and if applicable what edition (Original, Classic, Revised, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 10th, etc.)?
Pathfinder
2. What 'type' or variant of game will it be (i.e. "Shadow Chasers" or "Agents of Psi" for d20 Modern)? What is the setting for the game (eg. historic period, published or homebrewed campaign setting, alternate reality, modern world, etc.)?
Standard fantasy
3. How many Players are you looking for? Will you be taking alternates, and if so, how many?
4 - 5 I want a well balanced party
4. What's the gaming medium (OOTS, chat, e-mail etc.)?
These forums
5. What is the characters' starting status (i.e. experience level)?
7
6. How much gold or other starting funds will the characters begin with?
25000 gp
7. Are there any particular character classes, professions, orders, etc. that you want... or do not want? What are your rules on 'prestige' and/or homebrewed classes?
I'm very lenient about these things, just ask permission first.
8. What races, subraces, species, etc. are allowed for your game? Will you allow homebrewed races or species? 'Prestige' races or species?
+2 Templates, run them by me first :)
9. By what method should Players generate their attributes/ability scores and Hit Points?
5d6b3 to arrays
10. Does your game use alignment? What are your restrictions, if so?
Chaotic Stupid can get you killed.
11. Do you allow multi-classing, or have any particular rules in regards to it?
Have at it, no penalties.
12. Will you be doing all of the die rolling during the course of the game? Will die rolls be altered, or left to the honor system? If players can make die rolls, which ones do they make, how should they make the rolls, and how should they report them?
Players will be making their own rolls, but I will take the reins from a player if they take too long.
13. Are there any homebrewed or optional/variant rules that your Players should know about? If so, list and explain them, or provide relevant links to learn about these new rules.
nope
14. Is a character background required? If so, how big? Are you looking for anything in particular (i.e. the backgrounds all ending up with the characters in the same city)?
I want motivated characters, not Mary Sue's. Give me some goals and contacts. I will do my best to work everything in.
15. Does your game involve a lot of hack & slash, puzzle solving, roleplaying, or a combination of the above?
We'll see won't we?
16. Are your Players restricted to particular rulebooks and supplements, or will you be allowing access to non-standard material? What sources can Players use for their characters?
Any pathfinder

As it stands, Tetori monk, Lawful Evil. And, a glorified, cocky bodyguard to a man that the devil deemed a perfect plot in his entire plan (Meem). You can honestly scratch any and all spell like abilities if that's your concern. Not gonna be using them either which way. Except Hold person. That seems like it fits the character.
Also, this is a roughly thought up thing. We'll think it up more tomorrow.

I will be using the original Vampire template. Lawful Evil Vampire Sorcerer, to be exact. Exact details beyond that are unknown.

Malthos the Seer, the vengeful, power-hungry, somewhat self-loathing Shaman- "World's Largest Dungeon"
Claudius Derkin, the Beguiler who's at best quite silly and at worst downright insane- "The Burden of Fire"
I'll take the first array, and I think I'll go with a Nosferatu Oracle.
