Beyond the Username method, there are plenty of ways with class abilities and spells to ascertain the identity of the individual before you.

Does the feat /2HD count for followers too? let's see, 36 feats for a Cosmic. x2 meaning it's 72 HD per Legendary.
Add on some massive stat-boosting templates like the Immortals Dire animal, and a Breeding Program.

EDIT: yes but they can be bypassed. The Metagame method of Usernames is fool-proof without getting the person being impersonated in on it.

Remember the D&D multiplication rules. If you have Wisdom 100, and you take Legendary Wisdom eight times, it becomes 900, not 25,600.

Since it's a Houserule to go from x2 to x4 it apparently isn't following double-double=triple

Though even if it is adding on Stats is just a case of time and money

*flips table* Exponential growth is what that rule was designed to prevent, because exponential growth is preposterous. I have exactly two abilities that are acquired through exponential growth, and both are silly.

I agree, exponential is a lot. Usually for little expenditure


I also think we should all reveal our Ability Scores. Just those but otherwise we'll end up with people who think 1,000 in every score is ok, with 100,000 being the equivalent to a 10 in that score for others
Though once we get past something like 200/300, odds are you are using an NI Loop (not Infinite, simply repeatable and stackable)

I...honestly haven't decided yet. I've built my character so far aiming for saves and such in the low thousands. However considering what has been said so far, I guess pushing them might be a reasonable idea. It's mainly just a case of how far I want to go.

No it isn't. Infinite is something like the D2 Crusader, where the one ability, activated once causes a chain which activates itself which causes a chain which activates itself...

NI is where Inputx1 (say 1,000GP) = Output1 (say, 10,000 Bricks)
If I plug in Inputx10 (for 10,000GP) I get Output10 (100,000 Bricks)

The trick is to set it up so Input is a refreshable resource (like Spell Slots or /day abilites) while Output is permanent and stacks with itself.
Permanency Wall of Stone is a refreshable NI trick.

Intresting enough, making everything I can use based off INT is a EX abillity. Now, how high can I Gene mod me Int Eh, lets just do the simple 1 billion. I'm a cybernetic entitiy that transcended flesh, blood and normal mentality.

Edit; Well, it's really 5 EX abillities. Int replace (Str, Dex, Con, Wis, Cha). So for everything based off those, I use Int instead. Technicly, I don't even need 'em anymore, Int Replaces them utterly

Also, for any of the "free" templates... I'm going to ignore the abillity bonuses.

Mines additive. I can get +X to Int every 20 or so days (I have devices that compress time), where is is anything the DM don't shoot down. Other wise, I could hit 478 trillion damn fast. But, I have no idea how to play something THAT smart.

What other facet of the game do you know of that is not just multiplicative, but iterative? As in, you can multiply repeatedly, obsoleting the strictly linear increases that come from just about every other source of +numbers ever? X of Smack builds double their damage every two size increases, but that's the only exponential source I'm aware of.

What level is Izeldias anyways, from what I can tell, he is over Demiurge in power and level, from how you portray him, either that or he is a complete megalomaniac and wants to make enemies of pretty much everything that has an equal ego, eventually he'd fight something to strong for him to beat (unless he can't find it). I'm pretty sure i can get my abilities arbitrarily high, and keep getting them higher, though that isn't anything new. Everyone probably could.
