I'll roll for a Deceive test in case it's necessary to mislead the doorman and allow us entry and also - if relevant - for a Common Lore (Underworld), to enhance my interaction with the doorman (and get a +10 bonus on my Deceive test). I put this in a spoiler for your eyes only, since Deceive is a skill granted by my secret alt. rank and I do not wish to disclose evidence on it.
Common Lore (Underworld)(1d100)[23] vs 40
Deceive(1d100)[100] vs 40 or 50 (depending on whether the above succeeds or not.
Fate Point re-roll, in case it's needed. (1d100)[15]

He's asking for 20 as a bride to let you all in. You can pay it or try to haggle him down.
I'll follow that course of action and pay him, but I'd like LCP's confirmation first, since he had originally suggested a slightly different way of solving this (involving a measure of covert intimidation etc if I understood it correctly).

Alrighty, we have a replacement for Fenria. Just need to move you guys through this scene to make the switch. Fenria will be recalled when part of or the full cell moves to the Tricorn to utilize their 'Credit' for the two analyses.
Alright, you're all inside the Red Circus. What actions would you like to take to further this investigation?
In addition to roughly three fourths of the circular seating dedicated to the masses, that last fourth is dedicated to private balconies overlooking the cage. Only the wealthy/powerful would be in those.
According to LCP's suggestion, which way would you prefer to split the group, in order to cover more ground, quickly and more efficiently inside the Red Circus? Marcus could go either way, assisting Shryke in the investigation on the beasts themselves, in an effort to see if they match the tracks and pict-feed from the crime scene or talk to to the proprietors of this place.

Subject 1 (Identified as Sergeant Kerberos): Sir, I'd like to know when I can go back to my unit.
Subject 2 (Identified as Tarvus Dade): Not immediately, sergeant. Do you know why you are here?
PK: Yes.
TD: And why is that?
PK: Begging your pardon, sir, but I'd rather not talk about it.
TD: Why not?
PK: I believe, sir, there are things man was not meant to see. Things abhorrent to the Emperor, unworthy in His sight. What we found on Mara, sir, I believe to be one of those things. It should have been destroyed.
TD: I see. Do you think, given the resources you had at the time, that you could have destroyed it?
++Pause, background noise
PK: No. It was... not the sort of thing you can fight. Traditionally, I mean. The psykers were the first to go, and after that...
TD: Yes, I've read the reports. What they let me see of them, anyways. Ninety percent casualties, Sergeant. But you survived.
PK: Yes sir, I did.
TD: Do you mind telling me how?
PK: The Emperor protects, sir.
++Pause
TD: Very well, sergeant, you may go for now. We will speak again later.

INQUISITORIAL COMMUNIQUE
Author: [REDACTED]
Classification: CARMINE
Subject: Mara Survivors
Thought for the Day: "Heresy grows from Idleness"
My lord Inquisitor,
It is an unfortunate truth that most of the soldiers who set foot on Mara are beyond saving. Many have gone entirely mad, and I suspect that more still bear the seeds of heresy within them. There are a small number who have remained sane, and useful, hardened against psychic attack by their encounter with [REDACTED]. I will forward you a list of likely candidates for service, once I have completed my interviews.
Forgive my handwaving and break in immersion, but I'd rather not have Destro drift in the wind.
As the cell was entering the sewers, outside the Cathedral, Fenria's micro-bead squawked to life. She was being recalled to her unit ASAP. En route, from the Tricorn, already is Pyrrhus Kerberos - Fenria's replacement.
At various spots within the duct-maze, the beads pick up faint communications from Pyrrhus himself. He had located the Valkyrie and was using it's vox-caster to maximize his range to locate the cell. Getting a vague idea of their heading from the cell, Pyrrhus begins heading down-hive.
As the cell finally exits the duct system, a final communication, now within micro-bead range, guides him in the rest of the way.
Fenria departs with Kerberos' arrival as entry is gained to the Red Circus.
Pyrrhus gains one of the Ward Accessors linked to the Valyrie's landing pad.
Well, that wasn't too bad. Alright, ready, set, go.
Alright, update is up. However, I have no direction from Babbles and Gideon as to what they'd like to do with the notables in the balcony. I know LeSwordfish was out of town though so I'll wait another day. I'm sure it's fine if Aria takes the reigns for now ;)
Perhaps, but I just want to see more of her! I like the character quite a bit, you see. This cell has some very interesting characters. Glad to have them a part of this
