Hm. Seeing as Pyrrhus comes before Shryke in the initiative order, can Shryke change his actions? Looks like this Mantid is going to be dead before he can attack it.
Given the chance, what he'd like to do instead is take a half move out of the cage (I know that will provoke attacks from the Mantids, but Shryke is almost immune to their attacks), and take a shot at the back of the fleeing Ogryn with his bolt pistol.
If you'd rather I just stuck with what I posted before, that's fine - I guess Shryke attacks the standing Mantid instead (and misses, as per his previous attack rolls).
If you're cool with doing a character image of Gideon, i'd love one. Something like http://simpsons.wikia.com/wiki/Molloy but a bit more grimdark, and with a nice old-fashioned rifle. The more i think about it, the less he looks like George Clooney.
Also, if you can take down the ogryn, do. I'm not worried about my ability to take down Ingron, but i am more worried about an ogryn.
Wow. I didn't put up the maps I made last night for you all to reference. Sincerely, I've never been this scatter brained before.
Below is the updated maps prior to this turn's actions:
Spoiler
@Gideon: Sounds good! I see no problem with aiming at a doorway and delaying. Also, tossing an available weapon with Quick Draw talent seems fine to me - aim counts.
@Septimus: Yes, please feel free to redo your actions. After stepping from the cage, the stairwell on the far right is covered in metal grating that one can see through but will effect shots. Feel free to shoot. The grating has an AP of 3. Likely not an issue. With your half-action move, you'll be just under 30m from target.
-Mantid Dodge vs Pyrrhus (yeah right) vs 30: (1d100)[11]
EDIT: Wow. Another GM fueled roll throwing RFs to the wind The third strike still lands and finishes the creature.
-Mantid Attack on Shryke as he passes vs 40: (1d100)[66]
-Reaction if needed: (1d100)[34]
-And just in case: (2d10b1)[6]+4 Primitive
-The Feline Dodge vs 30: (1d100)[20] Sorry, beasty is running which denies dodge but gives shooters -20 to hit. Initial hit still landed.
Ok, LCP feel free to roll here and edit your IC post accordingly for the new actions. Aria & Marcus are also up ;)
I think the rulebook mechanism for that is Overwatch. GM's call though.
In other news, I have been in an Inkscape-ey mood lately, and I made this:
Thinking about trying to do some other members of the group; any suggestions/instructions on how to draw them?
It's really amazing LCP.
By the way apologies for any delay in posting, but I had two sessions today over Skype and couldn't really manage to do much other than monitor the activity here. I'll try to squeeze in a post though.

Nice! That'll be 15X Damage after soak; Pen 4 punches through the grating and his heavy leather armor. His TB soaked 8. The Ogryn is now Heavily Wounded!
I just hope that's made him angry enough to come and get a servo-clawing. I wants me an Ogryn-based servo skull.

Is this any good?
Not sure if you meant him to have a moustache like Molloy or not, but I defaulted to not. It's a little tricky to do understated expressions on a stick figure so I'm not sure how my "suave face" turned out there. I can also give him more 40K bells and whistles if you'd prefer.

That was priceless.
EDIT: By the way, regarding the character drawing issue, first of all thanks for volunteering to draw them for us.
Now, Marcus, would be a tall and relatively thin, imposing individual, not entirely clean shaven, wearing a mesh combat cloak and IR googles/Photo visors, that look like stylized shades. His lasgun usually hangs from his shoulder, while his Carnodon is on either a shoulder or a hip holster/rig. His sword is secured to his belt and he usually wears his Arbites uniform on the inside. Depending on occasion, the insignia of Adeptus Arbites and/or the Inquisition can be seen, displayed on his cloak/coat, at heart height.

Gas masks make things easy
Ah, that's brilliant! I think the suave expression's turned out pretty well (how does it look with a slightly raised eyebrow?), and I'm of the firm opinion that bells and whistles on OOTS characters end up looking iffy. I do have just one complaint, and that's that the rifle and holster blend into the bodysuit a tad too well. Perhaps lightening the rifle stock a bit?
Permission to use that as my Avatar, here and elsewhere? Credited, of course.
Of course! Glad you like it. Although I have to say your current one is quite nifty.
Three adjusted Gideons:
I was steering clear of the raised eyebrow for fear of smarm brow, but here's a try.
Calimos: thanks for the description, I'll give that a shot.
Also, I am deathly serious about that Ogryn. Shryke covets its skull.
EDIT: Here's a shot at Marcus.
I wasn't sure what to do with his hair, so I tried to copy Harrison Ford's from Blade Runner. Turned out better than I expected. The piece of paper is supposed to be a warrant for somebody's arrest.
-Gideon seriously wounded the feline but it lived. The damage caused it to flee and the others joined it on instinct as it ran for the stand's upper edge to try and clamber/pounce down.
-Babble babbles.
-Marcus hits one of the un-wounded Mantids (Pyrrhus put the wounded Mantid through the chipper) but the damage was soaked.... (1d100)[52]Yes, no Dodge for once.
-Pyrrhus had his two hearty swings dodged but made good on the third.
-Shryke fired a well placed shot that removed, explosively, a large portion of the Ogryn's right upper thigh.
MAPS!:
Spoiler
-Porthal was devoured by the oversized insect. I increased the size of the creature to better represent it. The man in the tunnel ramp was dragged down by three Broscoraptors. They are gnashing and hissing at the centipede but don't seem too keen on getting closer.
-Ingron and the Ogryn leave the sight of those down below and soon after pop into view up top, Ogryn first who's limping. Ingron holds his side in pain from the earlier gunshot from Marcus.
-Kron is the sole orange in the pit fighter's area.
-The felines are looking for an escape as noted above.
-The last beast on the far side was shot down by the Arbites. The Arbites see preoccupied with the beasts and clearing the area. Ie they won't attempt to stop Ingron for you as is.
-One of the arachnids dragged the body back into the tunnel entrance. The other skittered up the steps and over the edge of the Circus, out of view.
Beasties:
-The Mantid on top of the cage leans down again and his mantid-pincer spears out several times at Marcus: Swift Attack vs 50 w/High Ground (1d100)[92]
Marcus Reaction:(1d100)[89]
If needed: (2d10b1)[10]+4 , (2d10b1)[10]+4 , (2d10b1)[6]+4
Note: This Mantid has cover on his legs for being on top of the cage overhead.
-The other ducks low and looks to be going for Kerberos' legs before snapping back upright and lashes out at Pyrrhus once: Feint vs 40 (1d100)[41]
Opposed (1d100)[77]
Standard Attack vs 50
Pyrrhus Reaction if Able (1d100)[94]
If needed: (2d10b1)[1]+4
EDIT: The Mantids are demoralized it seems.
To those up top, please make an Awareness roll
Noctus: (1d100)[29]
Okay. To hit: 55+10 aim +10 accurate +10 RDS, +10 single shot. Probably -20 for running, so vs 75
(1d100)[43] vs 75. Called Shot to the leg. If one leg is injured, the other leg. If one leg is easier to hit, that leg.
(1d100)[32] Fate point re-roll, if needed.
Now: Damage. There are two ways for my damage to be boosted by Gideon's accuracy: Crack Shot, and the Accuracy bonus d5s. I would, if possible, like to forfeit those. I'd much rather damage Ingron less, and take multiple shots, than risk killing him by ranged legectomy.
(A certain school of thought could say i should reduce the damage by that much: if Gideon can get +2 crit by targeting vitals, could he get -2 crit damage by targeting non-vitals, but never mind)
So damage (1d10+3)[11]
If this damage is high enough to kill Ingron, i'll re-roll it with a fate point: (1d10+3)[8]
-Centipede Dodge vs Shryke. Vs 25 (1d100)[97]
If fail, it becomes heavily wounded.
Centipede strike back! Vs 35 (1d100)[68]
For(1d10+4)[11] non-primitive damage @ Pen 2
Reaction from Shryke: (1d100)[88]
*The Broscoraptors are keeping their distance but look very likely to pounce on the victor of Septimus vs Arthropod.
-Marcus disengages! Does he have Sprint? The stair case to the left of the secret cage leads up to the catwalk. From there, Reinhart will need to run along its length to the other stairwell that was utilized by Ingron. That way may still be locked if he did so after using the door at the top of those stairs. The other route involves going up the green ramp entry to the stands and across the arena via the stands. Bare in mind that critters may be within both routes
-Pyrrhus misses unfortunately. The top Mantid hops down and joins the other in ganging up on Kerberos. They seem enticed by their prey splitting up, leaving one of their number to the two of them.
Mantid Standard attack vs 60 (ganging up): (1d100)[10]
Damage: (2d10b1)[9]+4 Primitive = 13 Primitive Damage
Mantid Swift Attack vs 50 (ganging up): (1d100)[81]
Damage(s): (2d10b1)[2]+4 Primitive, (2d10b1)[10]+4 Primitive
Pyrrhus Reaction: (1d100)[53]
-Gideon, marksman indeed. Ingron's calf muscle was struck and rendered useless. The Cagemaster effectively counts as having his leg broken, gains 2 levels of fatigue, & falls prone. The Ogryn turns to his master as he hears him cry out in pain.
-Aria and Noctus see the arachnid skitter back over the ledge, directly in front of them. Babbles can take a delayed shot if she likes.
Here's Noctus' point blank spray n' pray: vs 20+30-10 = 40 (1d100)[68]
And some Damage, just in case: (1d10)[5], (1d10)[3], (1d10)[8], (1d10)[7]
No updated map tonight, sorry. Running behind on some job apps.
