Ok Ive got no idea how to handle this in a way that will satisfy me. Dammit.
Life rarely gives you easy options. As far as I can tell, you can either...
- Leave them alone and assume they are dead already.
- Leave them alone and assess possible solutions after you retrieve the target.
- Pull them up and drag them along with you through the prison.
- Attempt to bring a med team in to handle the situation.
- Shoot them.

Ok. I'm sacrificing a squad of NPCs, a dubious asset in the tight quarters of the prison, to pull two men from a hole. Nomad has orders to shoot them at the first sign of Zombieism because at that point they are too far gone. Afterward he is to take a shuttle home WITHOUT the bodies. We cannot wait for him to rejoin us so we will go on ahead.
That's the best I can do IC. Jarik will not shoot his own men out of hand or because he thinks they might be infected. He just doesn't roll that way.
Dammit. I'd forgotten. Well Ill think of something.
I was gonna say: damn, that was cold. So we're going to leave one guy with them to help them near the entrance, but give him orders to shoot them if they become zombified, right? Then they can have a ship come down and evac them (and put them in space suits so they don't contaminate the rest of the ship.

The prison is 1,277 meters tall by 600 meters wide at the base and getting progressively smaller in a cone shape until you get to the peak, which is 30 meters wide.

Graff is indeed feeling itchy ever since he came to the planet.
Which is weird, and pretty much has to be either psychosomatic or a result of his Vongspores stepping up their game. He's had at least two vacuum-sealed layers between himself and the planet's atmosphere at all times since leaving the Kestrel.

Unless the Vong spores and the bio-weapon have some kind of telepathic hive mind / connection through the Force.

So...here is a question that I'm betting the DM is going to bitch slap us for...
Hypothetically could Kelaeon and our plant force user just "move object" to fly up to the top? IE: I can't move object myself, but if the party stands on something and I move object them and then the felucian move objects me...

:P
On person per use. So lift a guy, eat a sandwich. Lift a guy, eat a sandwich. etc. IIRC, it takes 5 minutes for the powers to become available again.

How did Ice ascend up to the elevator controls? Force move up or did he walk up the stairs?
Sorry, I thought it was a choice between stairs or elevator? Or are there stairs leading from the exit of the labyrinth to the elevator? The labyrinth is made of crates, right, so is it possible to take some of the crates and toss them onto the stairs? Is it a mechanics skill check to find traps like motion detectors and pressure plates?

Two spiral staircases. One leads to an elevator, the other an unmarked hallway.
The crates are too big for the spiral staircase (Jax barely fits). All the crates are at least two by two meters. A helmet, a gun, or one of the dislodged bucket seats from the shuttle might work.

I need an opinion from the group: will the extra squads be of any use to us on this mission? I'm of the mind that they can provide a little extra (inaccurate) fire in a fight, and give us a bit of a numbers advantage. I would like to hear other opinions though.

I'm thinking squads are good for things that don't require attack rolls, like splitting up and covering a lot of ground (not such a good idea in the trap infested prison), or carrying extra supplies/equipment. Since we're on a time constraint, if we come to guard barracks and need to search 20 rooms quickly, we can split up into teams of two and get it done pretty fast. They can set explosives and weld doors shut to funnel enemy forces. Despite being 'soldiers', their best asset is their numbers, so they're best used in things that require a lot of effort but little skill, that can be divided amongst individuals.
Not sure how useful that's going to be, but... there it is.

In a hour movie someone dies every scene. We need them to fill the quota.
