I'm guessing Sharka sensed danger behind the red door?

So I forgot to roll a perception check when I opened that door. I will do it here.
Not sure if Darkvision applies a bonus in addition to ignoring concealment, so I'll just use 12. (1d20+12)[29]
Is the green room completely full of (presumably) acid, or is it in a pit that only reach the base of the door? Basically, if the shield were to dissipate would it come pouring towards us? (From what we can tell.)

I'd be doing it right before combat starts(i thought we were about to kick down the door again).
Enlighten:
you can use that check:
-to replace your attack roll
-replace a defense
-replace a skill check
I mostly picked it up because it fit Sharka pretty well. Its turning out to be deceptively powerful, though. Swift action to activate it, too.

Thank you for clarification. This is going to be delicious. Things are about to get ****ing hardcore in that room. Does someone in my squad have an appropriate song they can blare from their helmet? Like Cochise, but Star Wars?
*let the bodies hit the floor-let the bodies hit the floor-let the bodies hit the FLOOR
That fitting enough?

Eh, Drowning Pool is somewhat mindlessly loud. The music just sort of blares and is somewhat lacking in variety.
I'm a sucker for Audioslave so I have a bias, but Cochise is a great 'pre-battle' psych up and it maintains strong throughout.
