Ah, no, I'll reexplain using your example:
God Rearranges stats! (A1 D1 H80)
God Rearranges Stats! (A8 D1 H10)
God Attacks!
God Rearranges Stats! (A1 D8 H10)
Enemy Counterattacks, dealing 2 damage!
God Rearranges Stats! (A1 D1 H78/80)
God Rearranges Stats! (A1 D8 H8/10)
God Rearranges Stats! (A1 D1 H78/80)
Enemy Attacks, dealing 38 damage!
God Rearranges Stats! (A1 D1 H40/80)
God Rearranges Stats! (A4 D1 H10/50)
God Rearranges Stats! (A5 D1 H0/40)
God is dead because they have 0 HP and reduced it like a moron.
And etcetera. I suppose you could also think of it as recording how much damage you've taken, instead of how much current/max HP you have. The damage taken never changes, but if you reallocate dice towards HP you can stave it off, even though you'll never heal it and at the end you'll be left with A1 D1 and nearly no HP, and if you tried to switch to useful stats you'd die.
Also I thought you could only rearrange stats, like, once per post or something. If you're able to shift CONSTANTLY the ability to go from maxattack instantly to maxdefense without the enemy being able to exploit you going maxattack seems kind of, uuh, strong. To say the least. Awesome, and fitting for some, but strong. Could I suggest that there's either a cap of either one no-limits change per post, or a cap of, say, three changes per post but you can only reallocate a certain number of dice per level.

Originally the ability was a lot stricter, but mystic was the one who changed the wording to "constantly".
And looking through your battle sim, I still don't get it. It looks like the GOD is losing dice which is (to me) a definite no-no. Even if they can heal it later. I think you need to check your math on those.
I'm going to wait until another mod weighs in on this issue.
I believe it's intended to be once-a-post, yes, from what Mystic said in the thread where we were building it. But you'd have to ask her to be sure, since the wording is open to interpretation, if one want to be nitpicky about it.

It still doesn't handle the issue of HP buff as healing.
I think what's going on with Novaix's thing is as follows, as regards why they seem to be losing dice:
Dice are converted to HP.
Damage is taken.
Since you're damaged, and no longer have your full HP, you can only turn whatever is left in your HP pool (minus at least one so as not to die instantly) back into stats.

Considering you make yourself easier to hit and do less damage each time you heal, and can't put dice that you've lost from damage to your HP back into your pools, I don't think that's actually as much of a problem as you seem to think it is.
Though Novaix's solution seems elegant, if I can figure out how they intend for one to apply it. I think if I could see how much damage the unlisted deity was doing each time, I'd be able to get a better handle on it?

..For clarity, that wasn't a "you're being a jerk and calling me out on an error baw", it was just humour. It's fixed now, should be more clear.
Personally, I like both ideas. Gaining attack/damage over time (i.e. your suggestion) is fitting for a protean god, yet at the same time losing attack/damage over time (i.e. mine) is more fitting in general.

On the actual methods themselves, personally, I think I prefer Novaix's method, since Elrical's seems to be a bit over-harsh, in that adding dice to HP does nothing whatsoever, apparently.

[quote=Lord_Asmodeus;14039088]So, to create underdark over the whole world, I would need something like 20 Forge Land actions, so some 40AP with my Elemental Mastery discount.
I'd say so, yes. Sadly.

Depends on what the Relic does, and what kind of creature it is (magical/fabled, or completely mundane) before it is a relic.

The Relic would do Alter Lands to create Underdark (and at some later point perhaps other things) it wouldn't be a creature I would turn into a relic, I would create a mythical being to perform this task. I might at some later point make a race of creatures like it, or it might be one of a kind.

Hmm. Define the frequency of the Alter Lands (once per week/rollover?). Otherwise I don't mind, but I'd say wait for another mod to give their say, just in case. I'm not the most experienced mod here.

Well, I was thinking either a Create Land or Forge Land one per week, since I believe to start it can have a charge of 2AP? (so the Forge Land would be if my Elemental Mastery is assigned to my Relics AP expenditures as well)

Sounds reasonable. Relic approved. By me at least.

Volk should talk to Issomi. I'll totally make him some ninja prostitutes.
Seriously, I've been thinking about making some sentient mortals to kill. Why not ninja prostitutes?

Why not just create a creature...some earth-eating thing(s)...to create the Underdark for you...over time. Of course...there will be a large opeining above ground (perhaps at the volcano?) as the entrance to the Underdark to start. And as you gain more space under, you can use less AP to manipulate it to your liking. *just a thought*
An inactive volcano chimney rising thousands of feet above the ocean, this imposing sight is the single greatest prison in the world. Even gods have trouble escaping its cells.
As for the ability, anyone trapped within Acalhatar must overcome a very high roll in order to escape. For divine entities, they must either roll higher than Vetasz's defense roll to escape (no modifiers from relics) while mortals must overcome a roll of 1d10+(Vetasz's Divine Rank+3). Any god can spend 3 AP to bust someone out of the prison as well (including themselves).
With you permission, I will create you guards. My own special creations that should suitable (but mortal and very vulnerable) keep the place off-limits to unwanted beings yet entertaining. I'll just need permission to create them on my own plane first and then drop them into the prison.
He's not; he's the only one who declined (I think). Because the Sun Lord is everything Issomi despises.

Hmm, I suppose it would make far more sense for Rasotos to start out alive and later come back than to be created already undead, given the way it was done. Which logically means the first thing I'll have to do is die .
Now there's just the question of how... Hey, HalfTangible would you mind terribly having Volk get his pillage on sometime in the near future? Protecting innocents from a superior foe seems like the perfect way for him to go.

This is going to be... Interesting... with Kansheri's suggestion just now, isn't it?

While it might make sense for Issomi to kill Rasotos it wouldn't make much sense for Rasotos to be in the act of protecting others while he did so. Rasotos really has no good way of reacting to Issomi, Volk on the other hand is likely to make a big noisy mess with his indiscriminate slaughter which will give them a reason to interact.
Still, if you're really set on it, there's no reason Issomi couldn't be the one to stab Rasotos in the back while he's standing off against Volk.

Kansheri is me. She just suggested that the matter of the ninja prostitutes be tabled until there's a species capable of being either of those.

Ruse or Lose!
I think not Ruse. Remember, as far a Vetasz is concerned you're a prisoner just like everyone else. He's unlikely to accept your help.
If the world is a prison why did Vetasz feel the need to make another prison inside of it
Why do they keep death row inmates separate from general population? Why do corrupt cops go to completely separate prisons (in some places)? Why are pedophiles still allowed to live?
